Sue Cleaver role in Alan Ayckbourn's Snake In The Grass
Theatr Clwyd and Octagon Theatre Bolton have announced the cast of their autumn headline production, Alan Ayckbourn's Snake In The Grass.
Sue is known for her role on the iconic ITV show's cobbled streets since 1994, as well as appearing on Loose Women and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and in the UK tour of Sister Act.

She is joined by Nicola Stephenson whose stage credits include Our Country's Good (Lyric Hammersmith), Mumsie (Hull Truck) and The Empress (RSC) and who has been seen on television in Maternal (ITV), Father Brown (BBC) and The Long Shadow (ITV).
Completing the cast is Lisa Zahra, who returns to Theatr Clwyd after appearing in 2021's stage play and screen adaptation of Tim Price's Isla. Her stage credits also include Odyssey 84 (Sherman Theatre), Baba Joon (The Other Room/GrandAmbition) and Grenfell (National Theatre).
The production will be directed by Francesca Goodridge, who returns following the success of her 2024 show, Rope.
Snake In The Grass runs at Theatr Clwyd from September 15 to October 4, before transferring to the Octagon Theatre Bolton, from October 9-25.

Before this, she held various roles in huge shows such as Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Doctors and Hollyoaks. After becoming a fan favourite amongst soap fans, she will strut her stuff on the BBC One dance floor. However, competing on the celebrity ballroom dancing programme has been a dream for the actress since the show launched in 2004. Balvinder broke her silence on the announcement of her participation as she opened up on her journey on Instagram. The forthcoming contestant admitted that her team has been on at bosses to book her for the show for two decades. She wrote: "A dream 21 years in the making from when I first asked my agent to ask @bbcstrictly if I could be on the show. "Never did I ever think it would happen. And now.... since the announcement my feet haven't touched the ground." The actress continued: "And we haven't even started properly. "Yesterday was a big day; our first day meeting and greeting the Strictly Team, the other brilliant and talented contestants, and of course, the PROS." THIS Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed she went through a terrifying cancer scare after finding a large lump in her breast. She discovered it was related to one of her breast implants and had them both removed. 4 Talking about the 2023 ordeal for the first time, Josie, 40, told the Sun on Sunday: 'I had a big lump underneath my left boob and I was getting really worried about it. 'You could actually see it protruding — you could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened. 'So I went to my GP and he had a feel around — it was my breast implant. I went and I had them out and, for me, it was one of the best things I've done.' Josie, a regular presenter on the ITV show, had a breast enhancement operation in 2013 to take her from a B cup to a DD. But she has no regrets about having them removed ten years on, insisting she now has 'peace of mind'. It has inspired Josie to join forces with tombola bingo and charity Breast Cancer Now for their new 'eyes down, check up' campaign. Josie has been busy pounding the streets for the campaign, which aims to raise awareness of symptoms and changes to watch out for, as well as raise up to £1million for charity. She said: 'We only ever talk about breast cancer when something bad happens. Let's make it part of the conversation.' Josie, who launched diet website Slimmables in 2015, is also now busy renovating her £1.1million home outside Bath, living in a caravan on site. And the star, who found fame on Big Brother in 2010, revealed the stress of the project has left her going grey.
