Starbucks fans threaten to BOYCOTT over item 'missing' from Fall 2025 menu

Daily Maila day ago
Every few months, Starbucks changes its menu in accordance with the season.
And, as summer slowly comes to an end, the chain coffee company announced that its Fall 2025 menu will be released in stores on August 26.
While a few popular drinks - including the Pumpkin Spice Latte - are set to return, fans noticed that a specific flavor hasn't made it to the menu again.
It seems as though the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato will not be returning this year.
The drink, which features espresso, steamed oat milk, apple brown sugar syrup, and a spiced apple drizzle, was originally introduced in August 2021.
It has returned every year since - except for this upcoming one.
As it turns out, Starbucks customers are not impressed with the brand for its exclusion of the fall-themed flavor.
'I was looking forward to my Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso since they stopped selling them. I'm heartbroken,' one Reddit user wrote.
'What the hell. I swear all they do is get rid of the stuff people like,' another said.
One fan even admitted they wouldn't be going to the store any further, saying: 'That is the final nail in the coffin for me.'
And they weren't alone: 'My manager hasn't confirmed any of the drinks to me yet but if this is true I'm literally not gonna buy anything from Starbucks this Fall.'
But some coffee drinkers were happy with the decision - mostly because they never thought the drink was that good to begin with.
'I'm glad. It's a terrible recipe. They need to rework it,' one user wrote.
'The drizzle goes straight through the foam right to the bottom to the point where I don't even understand why they made it a drizzle and not a sauce. One of my least favorite drinks to make.'
Another user shared similar feelings.
'Sounds about right. As much as I personally liked it, no one was really a fan of it,' one shared.
And amongst the debate, some users even expressed a disdain for the Fall menu in general.
'Oh yay, its already disgusting season,' one user wrote mockingly about the seasonal offerings.
Fans can expect other drinks this fall including the Pecan Oatmilk Cortado, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte.
They can also anticipate the return of Italian Sausage Egg Bites.
It comes after Starbucks' top boss, Brian Niccol, said the coffee chain will now make some of its corporate employees come into the office for four days each week.
For months, the company required its in-office managers come into the corporate headquarters for three days each week.
The expanded return-to-work policy is set to kick in on September 29.

Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Wallace's passionate premiere smooch looks EXACTLY like his loved up display with now ex wife Alice Evans in throwback snap from 20 years ago

didn't hold back from putting on a very loved up display with his pregnant wife Bianca Wallace at the world premiere of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in Los Angeles on Monday. The happy couple locked lips in front of photographers, while the Welsh actor, 51, tenderly cradled his new wife's growing baby bump. However the picture gave a striking resemblance to the same premiere 20 years ago, when Ioan packed on the PDA with his now ex wife Alice Evans. Back in 2005 the pair were snapped enjoying a passionate smooch for the world to see, coincidentally also at the original Fantastic Four premiere. The couple couldn't keep their hands off each other in the unearthed snap taken just two years before the pair tied the knot. Ioan and Alice, now 56, met on the set of the movie 102 Dalmatians more than 20 years ago. They fell in love in real life and were married in Mexico in 2007. Ioan Gruffudd and Bianca Wallace's passionate premiere smooch (L) looks EXACTLY like his loved up display with now ex wife Alice Evans in throwback snap from 20 years ago (R) Ioan filed for divorce from Alice in March 2021, shortly after the actress announced on social media that her husband of 14 years was leaving her. They officially divorced in July 2023. And now the former couple are expected to face each other in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom Wednesday when Alice will ask Judge Josh Stinn to increase the $4,500 a month Ioan is currently paying. In the run-up to this week's court hearing, obtained court documents filed by Alice in which she claimed poverty and was so broke that she had to borrow money from friends and set up a GoFundMe account that raised $18,000 in donations. She said that she and her girls - Ella, 15 and Elsie, 11 - were recently evicted from their LA home because she couldn't afford to pay the $6,500 per month rent. She contended that she had to 'burn through' her savings to pay living expenses and legal fees. And she insisted Ioan - who married his now-pregnant new wife Bianca Wallace, 32, in April - can afford to pay more than the $3,000 per month child support and $1,500 spousal support he now pays. But Ioan is fighting his ex's cash demands and in his own court filing, poured scorn on Alice's claims, saying that she 'purposely got herself evicted…. intentionally ceasing paying rent and instead taking the children on a vacation trip to Europe.' Her motive, he said, was to 'support her false public narrative of financial destitution in an attempt to further harm my reputation……as a fraudulent way to strong-arm me into paying more support than I can afford.' Ioan also maintained that subpoenaed bank records show that, far from being broke, Alice made more than $130,000 in 2024 and is expected to earn a similar amount this year - a claim that Alice called 'false and misleading.' In his recent court filing, Ioan told how he was 'mortified' to have received 'dozens of stressed messages from our minor children in which they have parroted Alice's false and manufactured claims of becoming homeless in the immediate future.' But in her new court documents, Alice denies manipulating the children to send plaintive messages to their father. 'I absolutely did not ask the children to send messages to (Ioan) about our eviction and pending homelessness,' she said. 'The children are well aware of our financial distress and the eviction.' Alice also pooh-poohed Ioan's accusation in his most recent court filing that his ex is still violating a three-year domestic abuse restraining order 'by physically stalking, ongoing harassment and publicly posting denigrating things about me on social media.' She called the restraining order Ioan's effort 'to muzzle me and violate my First Amendment rights.' And, she added. 'There is absolutely no evidence of stalking…. I have no idea where he and his wife live, nor do I have any interest in stalking them. This is plainly ridiculous.' Ioan sought - and was granted - the restraining order in August 2022 after telling the court how Alice had 'engaged in a smear campaign of hateful text messages, emails and social media posts…aimed at intimidating me and my fiancé Bianca Wallace while alienating our two young children from me.' With the restraining order due to expire next month, Ioan is going back to court August 1 to ask Judge Stinn to extend it, and his new wife, Bianca Wallace, is expected to testify against Alice. 'At the (August 1) hearing, I will be calling witnesses and presenting evidence to show Alice's continued abuse,' declared Ioan - whose latest movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die has grossed more than $400million worldwide.

Kennedy Centre Opera House could be renamed after Melania Trump

The Kennedy Centre's Opera House could be renamed after Melania Trump. Republican Senator for Idaho Mike Simpson proposed the change during a House appropriations committee markup of the centre's funding. Committee members were considering if the change should be made on Tuesday. Mrs Trump is an honorary chairwoman of the Kennedy Centre's board, as is tradition for first ladies. The Opera House is the Washington DC-based institution's second largest theatre, behind the Concert Hall. Mr Trump sacked the chairman of the Kennedy Centre board and its 13 trustees soon after coming into office – making himself chairman and Richard Grenell, his Venezuela envoy, the interim leader. He said his reason for terminating the contracts of members of the board of trustees is that they did not 'share our vision for a golden age in arts and culture '. Since Mr Trump's takeover, the Kennedy Centre's new president has expressed a wish to scrap the current programming and has so far announced a 'big, huge celebration of the birth of Christ at Christmas'. Mr Trump's takeover of the centre – one of the foremost cultural institutions in the US – has been greeted with dismay in the arts world. Lin Manuel Miranda, the brain behind the Broadway musical Hamilton cancelled shows at the centre in March, in protest over Mr Trump. Issa Rae and the musician Rhiannon Giddens also cancelled shows. Ben Folds, the songwriter, and Renee Fleming, the singer, stepped down from advisory positions on the board following the Maga takeover. Vice-President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, were booed by the audience when attending a concert by the National Symphony Orchestra in March.

Comedians support CBS 'Late Show' host Colbert, Jon Stewart rips Paramount

LOS ANGELES, July 22 (Reuters) - Late-night rivals and other celebrities rallied to support CBS "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert after the network canceled his show, and comedian Jon Stewart lashed out at Paramount Global (PARA.O), opens new tab for the decision to end the long-running TV program. On "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" on Monday, several comedians and talk-show hosts appeared in a sketch that also featured an animated Trump hugging the Paramount logo. The bit spoofed the viral moment in which a tech CEO was caught on camera embracing his company's chief people officer during a Coldplay concert. "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon and NBC colleague and "Late Night" host Seth Meyers were spotted sharing beers together in the audience. HBO's "Last Week Tonight" host John Oliver was seated with Stewart, both former colleagues of Colbert's on "The Daily Show." Colbert joked about his show's demise in his opening remarks, quipping that "cancel culture has gone too far." He suggested the show's venue, The Ed Sullivan Theater in Manhattan, might be converted to "self-storage" after the show ends. CBS executives said last week they would end "The Late Show" in May 2026 in what they called "purely a financial decision." U.S. lawmakers and others have called the timing suspicious, noting that Paramount is seeking government approval for an $8 billion merger. Colbert is a frequent critic of President Trump and had called that payment a bribe. Stewart addressed the cancellation on Monday's episode of "The Daily Show," which runs on Paramount-owned Comedy Central. "If you're trying to figure out why Stephen's show is ending, I don't think the answer can be found in some smoking gun email or phone call from Trump to CBS executives or in CBS QuickBooks spreadsheets on the financial health of late night," Stewart said. "I think the answer is in the fear and pre-compliance that is gripping all of America's institutions at this very moment, institutions that have chosen not to fight the vengeful and vindictive actions of our ... commander in chief." Paramount representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Trump, in a post on Truth Social last Friday, applauded the cancellation, writing, "I absolutely love that Colbert got fired." Colbert responded Monday night with what he called a "satirical witticism" that included a vulgarity.
