Fans descend on Dublin as Oasis return to Ireland after 16 years
After an 'in-demand' dynamic pricing model left a poor taste for some fans last year, ticket-holders will roll with it and enjoy the music in temperatures of up to 24C.
Health officials have advised revellers to wear their bucket hats, with high UV levels amid warm and dry sunny spells in Dublin on Saturday.
The band's first gig in the country since 2009, the Dublin leg of the reunion world tour will hold a special meaning for once-feuding brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher.
The Mancunian brothers have spoken about their ties to Ireland through their Irish-born parents, Peggy and Thomas.
The support acts for the Dublin dates are Richard Ashcroft from The Verve and Cash, formed by John Power after he left The La's.
The setlist has crowd-pleasing hits such as Cigarettes And Alcohol, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger.
Fans have also been treated to favourites including Acquiesce, Some Might Say and Morning Glory – before a Don't Look Back in Anger, Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova crescendo.
Oasis announced their reunion tour in August last year, 16 years after their dramatic split in 2009, when Noel quit after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
The highly anticipated 41-date run has already seen the band play Cardiff, Manchester, London and Edinburgh before taking them half the world away to major cities, including in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Japan.

Oddfellows is churning up a parmesan-topped pizza sundae for a limited time only
When it comes to the flavors at Oddfellows Ice Cream, we're used to the, well, odd— last we heard from the NYC-born scoops shop, they were whipping up a breast milk-inspired concoction. (Don't worry, no actual human boobs were harmed in the making of that one.) And that goofy ice cream-churning gang is still going, albeit with a slightly more, uh, palatable new option: a pizza sundae. And yes, there is parmesan involved. Starting this Friday, August 22nd from noon to 5pm and running until Friday, August 29 at the Oddfellows location in Dumbo, Brooklyn, curious ice cream lovers can try their spoon at the limited-time-only Incredifulls Sundae, which consists of a scoop of old-school Oddfellows vanilla ice cream topped with shaved parmesan, fresh basil and a Graza olive oil drizzle. Sounds like just the thing you want to dip into parmesan-laced ice cream. (Do note, though, that the Pizza Cupcake will not be included with the sundae after launch day.) Of course, this isn't the first time that local ice cream purveyors have played around with throwing pizza components into the old Cuisinart. A few years back, in 2022, Van Leeuwen —a fellow parlor chain that's no stranger to flavor inventiveness—created their own limited-time pizza flavor, a rich, mozzarella-infused pint featuring swirls of tomato jam and bits of basil-crust cookies. Robbie Williams says he would open for Oasis despite decades-long rivalry
The rivalry allegedly began more than two decades ago, which saw the 90s Britpop stars, Liam and Noel Gallagher from Oasis and Williams, exchange insults at each other, including a challenge made by the Rock DJ singer at the 2000 Brit Awards Ceremony to fight Liam. The feud, however, appears to have subsided with Williams saying that despite not being friends, they are not 'enemies'. Speaking to ITV News, Williams said: 'I would open for Oasis. In this moment that they're having right now, they are omnipresent and they are the peak Zeitgeist. 'I can't compete with that. So I would, I would open for Oasis. 'We're not exactly friends, but I don't think we're enemies.' The comments come as Oasis are preparing to set off for their North American leg of their Oasis Live '25 world tour. He also told the broadcaster that he would not give his children phones, describing them as a 'drug'. He said: 'They don't have phones. They're not going to have phones for as long as humanly possible. And you know they're gonna go, they are at school, other people have phones, why can't I have a phone? Tough. 'That's as simple as it is. I'm 51, I can't deal with the corrosive nature of the internet and things. It hurts me. It ruins my day. 'How can I give this drug to a 12-year-old? How can I give this drug to a seven-year-old? It's abuse.' Prior to launching his solo career, Williams was part of the boyband Take That which was behind the hit songs Pray, Everything Changes and Sure. He left the group in 1995 and released his chart-topping debut album Life Thru A Lens in 1997. Other number one albums by the singer include I've Been Expecting You (1998), Sing When You're Winning (2000), Escapology (2002), Intensive Care (2005) and Rudebox (2006). The singer set off for his Britpop tour in May in support of his upcoming album with the same name, which is due to be released on October 10.

The Fortune Hotel Season 2: release schedule, eliminations and where to watch
ITV competition show The Fortune Hotel is in full season 2 swing, with 11 pairs of contestants battling it out to find a briefcase stuffed with a £250,000 prize. Hot off the heels of BBC show The Traitors, in eight episodes players must work out which pair has the winning briefcase, and the goal is to end up with it at the end of the show. Daily challenges decide what order players can either keep or swap their briefcases, with the quarter of a mill secretly changing hands throughout the series. Eight briefcases are empty, while the ninth has an 'early checkout card' – which eliminates players landed with it at the end of each episode. Presenter Stephen Mangan told Metro how the show can be pretty savage, as winning requires contestants to lie and cheat. 'It's really difficult to brutally pull the plug on another pair and send them home, but you have to do it,' he explained. The series began with 11 pairs of contestants who know each other in some capacity, much like Race Across The World's format. Hoping for a chance to win were best friends Maz and Max; fellow besties Chelsey and Briony; father and son Atholl and John; brothers Jake and Mike; couple Allan and Jacob; couple Nella and Tope, partners Fred and Min; mum and daughter Martina and Briony; friends Gurk and Guv; and dad and daughter James and Yasmine. Players come from all walks of life, with jobs ranging from tech to cleaning, and retirees are also having a stab. Last week's episode ended on a cliffhanger – spoiler ahead – as with the introduction of a second early check-out card, both Fred and Min and Allan and Jacob seemed to be at risk. However host Stephen revealed only one of the pairs would be going home – as voted for by their other contestants, ouch . Tonight revealed Maz and Max sent home Allan and Jacob through tears, leaving them 'gutted'. So far other eliminated contestants include cleaning business owners Briony and Chelsey; retired police officer Atholl and son John from the Scottish borders; Wigan-born brothers Mike and Jake; and salesman Guv and poker player Gurks.
