Jennifer Lopez Denied Entry In To Chanel Store In Istanbul, Spends On Rival Brand
Jennifer Lopez is a global icon and doesn't need any introduction. With a huge fan following across the globe, a recent incident in Istanbul involving global superstar has taken the internet by storm. The Let's Get Loud singer, who is currently in Turkey, was reportedly denied entry into a Chanel store.
The Indian Express reported that Jennifer Lopez was shopping at Istinye Park, a luxury mall packed with high-end designer stores, and was stopped at the brand's boutique. However, she was not allowed to enter as the store guards informed her that the store was full. Well, it is being assumed that the staff also didn't recognise her. However, by the time they realised, it was already too late.
According to Turkiye Today, the global singer was wearing a baby-pink dress with matching oversized sunglasses. When stopped at the Chanel entrance, she simply replied, 'Okay, no problem." And just walked away. Later, when the staff realised, they tried to invite her back, but she refused. And was happily shopping (reportedly tens of thousands of dollars) at other designer shops like Celine and Beymen.
To note, the singer is in the city for her Up All Night summer tour, which kicked off in Spain on July 8 and wraps up on August 10 in Kazakhstan. Lopez has been in Turkey as part of her 19-stop tour.
Recently, the global superstar turned up the heat during her stop in Egypt for her Up All Night tour, treating fans to a sultry glimpse into her birthday week celebrations complete with a teeny-tiny string bikini and a jaw-dropping beach-ready outfit. On July 31, Lopez took to her Instagram Stories to share moments from her lavish travels. While her birthday fell on July 24, the singer-actor has clearly kept the party going. One of the standout moments from her latest update was a hammock shot where she posed in a black string bikini, showing off her enviable figure with her arms stretched overhead. The picture quickly grabbed fans' attention for its bold yet effortless vibe.
She also gave her 247 million followers a peek into the glitz and glamour of her Egyptian stop. From mirror selfies to fireworks displays and dancing beside a towering birthday cake, Lopez was all about embracing life and her milestone moment.
The Let's Get Loud hitmaker's Up All Night Tour concludes in Yerevan, Armenia, on August 3. But fans don't have to wait long as she'll be back on stage for her Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December, January, and March 2026. From sun-drenched getaways to powerhouse performances, Jennifer Lopez shows no signs of slowing down.

She recently requested a hefty amount, i.e. $500,000, and a public apology, which has ignited the ongoing court case between the NBA professional and the singer. The two have since found themselves in a bitter custody battle that seems to have recently escalated. US Weekly claimed that the social media influencer has made a list of demands of the NBA star player. This includes a public apology and a hefty one-time payout of $500,000. Apart from the monetary damages, she is also requesting a formal declaration from the Minnesota Timberwolves player to correct his reported statements. She also claimed that those are allegedly "false and defamatory or misleading statements" about her personal conduct. The motion was filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on August 6. However, it took a messy turn after each side started blaming the other for being slow to act. According to court documents, the singer has not yet signed the custody arrangement that a judge initially mandated in May. She even accused the NBA star of being heartless and allegedly advising her to get an abortion. Records show that after Ayesha Howard reportedly verbally attacked Anthony Edwards multiple times, and published alleged text exchanges supporting her accounts of their relationship. She also requested a non-disparagement clause in the original form of the agreement. Additionally, she further requested limitations on sharing images of their child on social media.
