Cowboys fan covers massive tattoo fail with Chiefs ink—because one bad decision clearly wasn't enough

NFL fandom runs deep, often inked in permanence — literally. But one fan recently turned heads online, not for his undying devotion, but for abandoning his long-time loyalty with a bold back tattoo switch. Once a staunch supporter of the
Dallas Cowboys
, this individual is now proudly sporting the Kansas City Chiefs logo on his back — completely covering up the massive Cowboys ink he once had. And as it turns out, this isn't even the first tattoo transformation he's undergone.
Cowboys fan's back tattoo takes a plot twist no one asked for
According to the now-viral video, the fan reportedly spent just $160 on this latest cover-up, a surprisingly modest amount for such a radical reinvention. The clip reveals a striking scene: the once-proud Cowboys logo now buried beneath red and gold ink, symbolizing his newfound allegiance to Chiefs Kingdom. Yet, the rabbit hole goes deeper — freeze the frame midway through the video, and you'll notice that the Cowboys tattoo itself had once covered another logo. That one? A suspected tribute to the San Francisco 49ers, possibly from the Joe Montana era. If true, this makes it three NFL teams inked — and erased — on the same back.
For many, this kind of flip-flopping is hard to stomach. 'Switching from being a Cowboys fan to a Kansas City Chiefs fan screams 'bandwagon fan.'' It's a sentiment echoed by purists who value loyalty, especially in a league where teams rise and fall with every season. The Chiefs, for all their recent dominance, are no sure bet moving forward. After all, they just missed a shot at a historic three-peat, and success in the NFL is anything but guaranteed.
Still, it's hard to blame Cowboys fans for their frustration. Once synonymous with greatness, Dallas has struggled to reclaim its former glory. Disappointment has become an all-too-familiar feeling, especially as other franchises rack up titles. 'It's easy to understand how difficult it is to be a Dallas Cowboys fan,' one comment noted, and this tattooed turncoat may have simply had enough.
But this story isn't just about football — it's about the deep emotional pull of sports culture. NFL fans are often celebrated for their passion, and Cowboys supporters, despite decades of heartbreak, remain among the league's most loyal. 'No matter how the team performs, their fans show up no matter what city they're playing in and show their undying support.'
That's why this viral tattoo story has struck such a nerve. It isn't just about ink — it's a visual representation of giving up, of choosing convenience over conviction. And while everyone has the right to change their mind, one has to wonder: how long before this Chiefs tattoo becomes the next one to disappear?

Shubman Gill's latest MRF bat irks fans: ‘Sachin Tendulkar never wrote GOD, Virat Kohli never used KING'

Champion. Genius. Master. Legend. MRF bat stickers have used many adjectives to define their association with some of the greatest batters the game of cricket has ever seen. They stuck with Genius the longest. That's what Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli had on their MRF-sponsored bats. MRF has a history of signing the best batters of the generation. When they chose Shubman Gill to carry the legacy forward, it was a landmark moment. It also brought the spotlight firmly on Gill as, despite his outstanding ODI numbers, he was yet to stamp his mark at the Test level. 'With legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, and Brian Lara having graced the iconic MRF bat, Shubman Gill now carries forward this tradition, inspiring the next generation of cricketers," MRF wrote while announcing the collaboration before the semi-final of the Champions Trophy earlier this year. The purists looked at the Gill-MRF association with the corner of their eyes. Ahead of India's tour of England, which also marks the beginning of a new chapter, hopefully a glittering one, in Gill's cricket career as he takes over as India's Test captain, Gill's MRF bat sticker was once again in the news. This time, because of what was written along with MRF Genius. After the BCCI released photos of Gill and other members of the Indian team sporting the new kits, netizens zoomed in to find the word Prince written on Gill's bat. The Prince moniker was given to Gill as he was considered a superstar in the making but to use that in his bat sticker did not sit well with a section of fans. HT could not confirm whether it was Gill's decision or MRF's to use Prince along with Genius in the bat sticker but it definitely attracted eyeballs. More so because Sachin Tendulkar never used 'God' on his nat sticker despite being fondly called by fans. Neither did Virat Kohli put King on his bat sticker. The same with AB de Villiers and Brian Lara. In fact, Lara was the first to be known as a Prince in cricket. Notably, the word Prince is not new in Gill's bat sticker. It was first introduced in the middle of the IPL but only came to prominence after Gill replaced Rohit Sharma as India's new Test captain. In his first address as captain, Gill urged his players to "find out their game" and play "every ball with purpose". "Let us make each and every net session meaningful and let us prepare like that and let us put ourselves under a little bit of pressure when we are going out there. It is not about going out there and surviving. Let us try to find out our game, how we are going to play when we are put under pressure, whether it be bowlers or batsmen. And let is make the practise match and each and every net very meaningful and let us play every ball with purpose," he concluded. The series will be held from June to August 2025, with matches scheduled at Headingley in Leeds, Edgbaston in Birmingham, Lord's and The Oval in London, and Old Trafford in Manchester.

"Missing 3 Most Experienced...": Gautam Gambhir's Blunt 'Kohli, Rohit, Ashwin' Reminder

India coach Gautam Gambhir set expectations clearly from the Shubman Gill -led team as they prepare for the 5-match Test assignment against England. With the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravichandran Ashwin retired, the Indian team has a tough task ahead of them. England hasn't been a happy hunting ground for the men from the subcontinent, but the challenges this time are multifold. Gambhir, however, wants the new crop of players to focus on the opportunity they have at hand, over the people they are missing. In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Gambhir gave his players two options - either look at the fact that the team is missing three of its most experienced players, or the opportunity of doing something special. "There are two ways of looking at this. One is that we are without are three most experienced players (Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravichandran Ashwin), or we have a phenomenal opportunity to do something special for the country. When I look around this group, I think there's hunger, passion, and the commitment to do something special. If we make sacrifices, if we come out of our comfort zones, if we start fighting, not every day, but every session, every hour, every ball, I think we can have a memorable tour. Make sure we start that from today only. We start enjoying playing for the country because there's no bigger honour," Gambhir said in the huddle. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Team India (@indiancricketteam) Both Virat and Rohit retired from Test cricket in the middle of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, just days before the Ajit Agarkar -led selection committee was to pick the squad for the England tour. It isn't yet known what was communicated to them by the BCCI and the selectors, which prompted the sudden retirement call. As for Ashwin, he decided to quit international cricket altogether during the Australia tour, having understood that he is no longer a certainty in India's Test team.

14-Year-Old IPL Phenom Vaibhav Suryavanshi Scores 190, India's Next Big Cricket Star Goes Viral Before U-19 Series

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's meteoric rise in Indian cricket continues to capture headlines, and rightly so. The 14-year-old left-handed opener, who made waves in IPL 2025 with his fearless stroke play, has now delivered another jaw-dropping performance—scoring a blistering 190 runs off just 90 balls in a practice match at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. This staggering innings comes just days before the India U-19 team departs for their England tour, further solidifying Suryavanshi's reputation as one of the most explosive young talents in world cricket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed 190 off just 90 balls in a practice match during the India U-19 team's camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. [Gaurav Gupta] — Sports Culture (@SportsCulture24) June 10, 2025 As part of India's Under-19 squad, Vaibhav will open the innings alongside captain Ayush Mhatre during the five-match ODI series in England starting June 24. His recent knock isn't just a number; it's a statement. With video clips of his 190-run carnage going viral, fans and experts are hailing him as the "next big thing in Indian cricket." His ability to dominate seasoned bowlers at such a young age is not just rare—it's generational. A Star Is Born: From Record-Breaker to Household Name Suryavanshi's journey to stardom began when he smashed a 58-ball century against Australia U-19 last year at just 13 years and 188 days—an Indian record. That knock earned him instant recognition and put him on the radar of IPL scouts. At the IPL 2024 mega auction, Rajasthan Royals outbid Delhi Capitals to sign him for ₹1.10 crore, making him the youngest crorepati in IPL history. Despite being benched for the early part of the season, his debut was unforgettable. He launched a six off his first IPL ball, bowled by Shardul Thakur, and never looked back. His standout moment came against Gujarat Titans where he scored a 35-ball century, the second-fastest ton in IPL history, and the fastest ever by a teenager. IPL 2025 Stats Tell the Story In just 7 IPL matches, Suryavanshi racked up 252 runs at an astonishing strike rate of 206.55, including 24 sixes—the most by any batter under the age of 20 in a single IPL season. His fearless approach and impeccable shot selection turned him into a fan favorite and a nightmare for opposition bowlers. Grounded Off the Field, Ruthless On It Despite the fame and frenzy, Suryavanshi remains remarkably grounded. After his IPL hundred, he revealed in an interview with RR head coach Rahul Dravid that he kept his phone switched off for four days to avoid distractions and stayed close to family. 'I received over 500 missed calls… but I don't like that. I prefer to be around my family and close friends,' he said, showcasing a maturity that belies his age. What's Next: England Awaits All eyes will now be on Suryavanshi as he gears up for India's U-19 tour of England, where he's expected to play a pivotal role. With the confidence of a 190-run masterclass behind him, and the experience of an IPL campaign in his pocket, the youngster looks more than ready to take on the challenges overseas.
