Four arrested after break-in at home reportedly owned by Brad Pitt, say police
Officers responded on June 25 to a break-in at the house in the Los Feliz area of the city.
Police said at the time that suspects broke in through the front window, ransacked the home and fled with miscellaneous property.
Detectives have made four arrests, Officer Drake Madison said on Tuesday. He said the suspects' names could be released later in the day.
Officials could not identify who owned or lived in the home, and no information was available on what was stolen.
Pitt reportedly bought the property for 5.5 million US dollars (£4 million) in April 2023, according to Traded, a commercial real estate website.
A representative for the actor declined to comment on Tuesday.
Pitt had been out of the country in June on a globe-spanning promotional tour for his new movie, F1.

A plucky police dog snagged a suspected drink and drug driver who tried to flee after crashing into a bridge in Warwickshire. The incident, which happened in Kineton last weekend, saw emergency services attend the scene to find it abandoned. Knowing there might be some clues, Police Dog Jinx was bought in to try and sniff out a trail, which he did. A man believed to be the driver was found by PD Jinx trying to hide nearby. PD Jinx was deployed and located a track from the vehicle into farm land and located the driver lying deep in undergrowth. "The male was arrested at the scene for failing a roadside breath test with a reading of 91ug (the limit is 35) and he also tested positive for cannabis and cocaine by Roads Policing Officers."

DC Police Union chair supports Trump takeover
The head of the DC Police Union praised President Trump's temporary takeover of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) and deployment of National Guard troops as a 'critical stopgap' amid 'out of control' crime in the nation's capital on Monday. 'We stand with the President in recognizing that Washington, D.C., cannot continue on this trajectory,' union Chair Gregg Pemberton said in a statement. 'Crime is out of control, and our officers are stretched beyond their limits.' 'The federal intervention is a critical stopgap, but the MPD needs proper staffing and support to thrive,' he added. According to recent estimates, MPD's force is about 500 officers short of its 4,000-officer allotment and is at its lowest staffing level in decades. But the police union, Trump and others have questioned the statistics that show decreases in violent crimes. Pemberton, who has long been a critic of the D.C. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) shot back at President Trump's federal takeover of Washington's Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) on Tuesday, decrying the move as an 'authoritarian push' by the administration.
