Megan Thee Stallion's romance with the NBA star player, Klay Thompson, continues to turn heads as the two seem to be really happy together. While the two are busy with their new romance, the rapper is also dealing with a legal mess related her being shot in 2020 by a man named Tory Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson.
Even though Daystar Peterson is serving a 10 year prison sentence, his lawyers have brought in a new twist to the story.

A few days ago, both of Daystar Peterson's appeals were rejected by the judge. Now, on 18th August, Daystar Peterson's attorney Crystal Morgan, was busy arguing about the DNA evidence found on the gun, as per Billboard.
Daystar Peterson's lawyer, Crystal Morgan, said, "It is actually marginally more likely that another member of the African American population touched this gun over Mr.
Peterson."
According to Billboard, Daystar Peterson's lawyer Crystal Morgan added, 'If our jury had heard that Mr. Peterson maybe one in a million touched the gun, I believe that would have been enough to tip that scale and show reasonable doubt."Back in 2020, the DNA found on the gun which was used to shoot Megan Thee Stallion was reported to be inconclusive.
However, there was enough evidence, including controversial text messages that pointed the suspicions towards Daystar Peterson's involvement.
