Blood of My Blood is a prequel to Outlander, starring Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe as couple Jamie and Clare Fraser.
The Blood of My Blood photos show Rory Alexander as young Murtagh Fraser and Jamie Roy as Brian Fraser, ancestors of Heughan's Jamie. Harriet Slater also plays Ellen MacKenzie, who becomes Jamie's mother.
Other photos show Tony Curran as young Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, Sam Retford as young Dougal MacKenzie, Séamus McLean Ross as Colum MacKenzie and Conor MacNeil as Ned Gowan.
Hermione Corfield and Jeremy Irvine star as Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, the parents of Balfe's Claire. The time travel romance spans from 18th-century Scotland to World War I.
Photos show Henry and Hemione laughing together, Jamie and Ellen standing and embracing in the Highlands, and the couples standing on opposite sides of the stones that allow them to travel through time.
Matthew B. Roberts serves as showrunner for Blood of My Blood and also executive produces with Ronald D. Moore, Maril Davis and Jim Kohlberg. The show will air weekly on Starz and the Starz streaming app.
Outlander will end with Season 8. Blood of My Blood has already been renewed for a second season.

I took £20 to TRNSMT 2025 and got less than I hoped for
Thousands of revellers have embarked on Glasgow Green today as day one of TRNSMT 2025 has begun. Last year, we took £20 out into the festival to see what we could buy to eat and drink for the singular note - so this year we thought we'd try it again. We know most festival goers this weekend will come with a budget in mind for food and drinks, and unfortunately, as with most things in recent times, it's going to cost you more than you think. From noodles and Indian cuisine to Greek food, there were dozens of food trucks and bars to pick from again this year - here's what we managed to get. However, as I wandered around the food stall, I soon started to realise that the same budget wouldn't get me anywhere near the same amount. In 2024, Morgan got the Ultimate Smash Burger Meal, which cost £12. This year, though, the burger alone will cost you that. Realising my score note was scrimping, I decided I'd have to get thrifty, as Morgan's 2024 lunch would cost me almost £25 this year. I thought I might manage to grab a bottle of water to help stay hydrated during what is thought to be the warmest TRNSMT ever. But to my dismay, a bottle of H2O would cost me another £2.60 on top - which would've taken me over budget. Thankfully, there are free water points throughout the festival site. Spending £18.45 and walking away with change from my challenge wasn't something I expected; however, I did feel disappointed with the expensive food and drink options. Perhaps it's a sign of the cost-of-living times, but should eating and drinking at a festival be at the price it could be considered a luxury? My food did the trick for lunch, and my pint was ice cold - but I was left red in the face at the fact that £20 really doesn't get you far this year.

Erin Napier Said She Suffered From "Anxiety" over Family Trip to Scotland

Erin and Ben Napier headed over to Scotland this summer in an effort to get in touch with Ben's Scottish heritage. While the Home Town stars certainly looked like they were having a great time in a few photos from their journey, Erin admitted ahead of time that she was suffering from "anxiety" over the thought of bringing their two daughters on an international trip. And it's something so many of us can relate to, especially when our kids are still young. The HGTV star took to Instagram last week to share two photos of her recent trip to Scotland alongside her own "Scotsman," husband Ben Napier. "Seeing his homeland with my Scotsman," Erin captioned the post. While the couple's two daughters, 7-year-old Helen and 4-year-old Mae, were not pictured in the post, they did reportedly join their parents on this international journey. Erin spoke to podcast host Annie F. Downs during a recent episode of That Sounds Fun about preparing for the family trip to Scotland, admitting that she had to "disassociate" before the flight. "Right now, we're getting ready to take a trip to Scotland in July to study his family heritage, and I am absolutely terrified.' 'Like, I have so much anxiety about crossing an ocean with my children. I, like, can't even think about it,' she admitted before going on to explain, "I'm disassociating from it because I can't let myself think about all the things that can go wrong. I could list at least 20 things right now if you want to hear what I think could go wrong.' Ben teased Erin on the podcast, saying she was afraid of smaller issues before she corrected him, saying "No, they're totally big things! You cross an ocean and you break your leg, who we calling? Where are we going?' This fear of the unknown when traveling with kids will certainly track with Erin's fans, and the fact that she moved past it to go enjoy an adventure speaks volumes about her as a mom. Erin appears to be laser-focused on her family these days, even taking to Instagram recently to shut down online rumors about trouble in her marriage. Again, her daughters were top of mind for her in this situation when she called out strangers approaching the family on the street to address rumors, explaining in a heated message that the girls "don't understand what 'online fake news' means and it's upsetting." Kooks urge ‘peace and love and sun cream' at TRNSMT festival
'Peace and love and sun cream' – that is the advice from indie rockers The Kooks as they got ready to play Scotland's biggest music festival in the scorching heat. Known for their hits Naive and She Moves In Her Own Way, they said they were excited to play TRNSMT on Saturday, even with the 30C weather. Frontman Luke Pritchard told the PA news agency The Kooks had 'got their mojo' back with their latest album Never/Know. He said he was honoured to be invited back to the festival again and again since playing it at its debut in 2017. Asked how he would describe the festival in Glasgow, the singer said it was 'warm, electric and quite intense'. 'We are so excited,' he said. 'We've been looking forward to this for ages. We have played TRNSMT so many times, and so we feel very honoured, lucky – it's like coming home, so I feel good. 'And we've got a new album to play. It's positive record – soul, rock and roll. 'Took it back to the roots of the band with a bit of modern energy. 'It seems to have gone down very well, especially with our fans.' Never/Know is out now! We are just honoured to still be doing this 20 years later', having played TRNSMT's predecessor T in the Park in the 2000s, which he described with a smile as 'chaos'. But what is different this time, according to Mr Pritchard, is 'we've got our mojo back'. 'You know, you go through ups and downs so it's a good time to come back. 'But you're right, every few years we seem to be here and we don't ask too many questions about that – we'd play here every year if they wanted us to.' The band said one of their favourite memories in Scotland was playing the classic Glasgow venue King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, before going to the Blue Lagoon chip shop. Mr Pritchard said: 'After the gig we always used to get deep-fried haggis. It was amazing.' Asked for advice for festival-goers attending TRNSMT in the sweltering heat, Mr Pritchard said: 'Just peace and love, you know, and stop crying. Peace and Love and sun cream.' Mr Harris added: 'Make sure you slip that slop on each other's backs, that bit in the middle that gets no attention. Don't forget that bit. Electrolytes.' The guitarist added that now more than ever, events like TRNSMT were needed: 'There's a frisson to it. 'It's people coming together – that's what festivals are for. 'People having a good time and being as one, feeling as one in quite an isolated time at the minute. 'So we need spaces like this for people.'
