Salford Red Devils picked up only their second Super League win of the season by coming from behind to beat Castleford Tigers.
The beleaguered bottom club, who suffered an exodus of 11 senior players after suffering financial troubles related to a takeover, ended a run of 13 straight defeats against a side which had already beaten them twice this season.

Tries from Ethan Ryan, Harvey Wilson, Joe Mellor, Esan Marsters and Chris Hankinson - the first time they have scored more than three in a game this season - were enough against a Tigers side without a head coach following Danny McGuire's sacking on Monday.
Director of rugby Chris Chester took charge while Cas seek a replacement, but two tries from Daejarn Asi and others from Josh Simm and George Lawler were not enough to prevent them slipping to a fourth consecutive loss.

'Inevitable' champions Hibs will be targets
Scotland striker Eilidh Adams says it's "inevitable" that her Hibernian side will have a target on their back after surprising many by winning the Scottish Women's Premier League last season. But the 21-year-old says they believe they are "good enough to compete" - and are capable of doing it again - as they prepare to start the new campaign against Aberdeen on Sunday, live on BBC Alba. Adams described the previous campaign as her "best yet at the club", with 24 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions helping Hibs to secure an "incredible" title on the final day. "We're the champions. Everyone will want to beat us," Adams told BBC Scotland. "And, if they do, it's a massive thing." Scotland's Galactica & Ballon d'Or nominee walks in footsteps of Zidane Hibs triumphed 1-0 against Rangers on the final day last season to claim their first league title in 18 years. Glasgow City and Celtic, who finished second and fourth, respectively, will have title aspirations this time around, as will Hibs' city rivals Hearts. However, Adams says the continuity in Grant Scott's squad will stand the champions in good stead. "I think obviously we've got quite a similar squad, we've not brought in too many new faces, which I do think helps," Adams said. "You don't need to go through that period of getting a team to get to know each other. "I think it's just about kind of doing what we did last season. And obviously we've got a belief now, quite a lot of belief, given what we achieved last season, that we're good enough to compete and why not do it again?" Adams admits she is expecting stiff competition this season, especially after the league was reduced from 12 teams to 10. "Every season it seems to get more competitive, which is brilliant," she said. "But we know it's an extremely difficult task and nobody's really done that recently, retain the title. "When I was first joined, there was very much a gap between the teams. But season on season, it's just improved. And, as a player, as a spectator, it's brilliant. "I expect this season to be even more competitive and more exciting than last season." Get the latest WSL news on our dedicated page

Atletico Madrid add international forward as seventh summer signing is confirmed
Atletico Madrid have completed another deal this summer, with Giacomo 'Jack' Raspadori arriving from Napoli. The Italian forward becomes their seventh new addition of the summer, and their ninth permanent transfer overall, including the signings of Clement Lenglet and Juan Muso. Raspadori adds another forward to Simeone's options, alongside new addition Thiago Almada and even Alex Baena, who could play in a front three. He is expected to be an alternative to for Simeone off the left side or through the middle in behind a central striker. Atletico Madrid reach deal with Napoli Image via Atletico Madrid As per prior reports, Atletico will pay Napoli €22m and a further €4m in variables could be available for the Serie A champions, a deal agreed after over a week of talks between the two clubs. Raspadori had signed off on a move earlier, and has penned a five-year contract with Los Colchoneros. Atletico Madrid spend rises to €175m It makes it a second straight summer of big spending for Atletico, who with Raspadori's arrival reach €175m in transfer fees without taking into account variables. Overall their net spend is at €107m this summer. Raspadori's arrival would in theory bring an end to their summer business, although this will hinge on any potential exits. Atletico will listen to offers to a large portion of the players that have not just arrived this summer, and could dip back into the market if somebody leaves the club unexpectedly. Raspadori seeking bigger role at Atletico Capped 40 times by Italy, Raspadori is a European champion, but has struggled to lock down a place in the Napoli side of late. Last year he scored six times and gave two assists in 29 appearances, averaging a goal contribution every 165 minutes. Mostly operating behind a striker, Raspadori started just 14 games last season, he will be desperate to play his way into the starting XI with no defined partner for Julian Alvarez.

European Super Cup: What PSG starting eleven against Tottenham?
PSG In just two days, PSG will return to action with the European Super Cup final. Achraf Hakimi and which Parisian players should be in the starting lineup to face Tottenham? A month after losing the Club World Cup final to Chelsea (3-0), PSG is already back in competition. On Wednesday night, the reigning European champions will lock horns with Tottenham for the European Super Cup. For the final, apart from Lucas Chevalier, who will step in for Gigio Donnarumma between the posts, the rest of the lineup should follow a classic setup. The Marquinhos-Pacho duo is expected to anchor the center of defense, while Achraf Hakimi and Mendes will start on the flanks. One major absentee to note: Joao Neves, suspended for this clash, will be replaced by Zaïre-Emery. Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz, mainstays throughout last season, are set to feature as well. Up front, Luis Enrique is sticking to his tried-and-true formula. The attacking trio of Doué, Dembélé, and Kvaratskhelia, who started in the Champions League final, should get the nod again.
