By now, Ajaneesh Loknath's music has travelled far beyond Karnataka, and 2025 is shaping up to be one of the busiest years of his career. Details of the case For the unversed, Darshan, along with actress Pavithra Gowda and others, is accused of involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy. Renukaswamy was allegedly kidnapped, tortured for three days in Bengaluru, and then killed. The incident was reportedly triggered by obscene messages allegedly sent by Renukaswamy to Pavithra Gowda, Darshan's close friend and co-actor. Darshan allegedly instructed his fans to accost and kidnap Renukaswamy, leading to the brutal murder. Darshan was initially arrested on June 11, 2024, and had been granted interim bail on medical grounds in October 2024 before being given regular bail in December 2024 by the High Court.
