Boots' 'amazing' £35 serum that 'targets six wrinkle zones' now £10
Boots shoppers can bag a serum "clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to five years" for £10. The popular skincare product, which is usually priced at £34.95, is featured in Boots' £10 Tuesday offers.
As such, customers can get the No7 LABORATORIES LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum 15ml for less than half price. Hundreds of products have been slashed in price for the weekly shopping event, with the deals available for just one day. Online shoppers can save on makeup, skincare, shampoo, body wash, and more.
Boots says No7 has sold more than four million booster serums, and the dermatologist-approved product has an average rating of 3.8 out of five. One buyer claimed they saw "an amazing difference in a deep frown line" on their forehead, while another suggested that "it takes years off you."
Unfortunately, not everyone experienced the same results. Shoppers looking for alternatives might prefer the Olay Anti-Wrinkle Firm & Lift 2in1 Face Cream + Serum 50ml, which is £13.99 at Superdrug.
Elsewhere, customers might like Plantscription Active Wrinkle Correction Serum, which is currently half price at £37.50 at Beauty Bay, or the Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting Serum 30ml, which is on offer for £49.60 at Look Fantastic.
The product description for Boots' product says: "No7 LABORATORIES LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum is our most supercharged serum to date. Formulated with 7x the Matrixyl 3000+ than our previous clinically proven serums.
"It's been clinically proven to visibly reduce the appearance of even the deepest, most stubborn lines and wrinkles. Designed to be applied directly to lines and wrinkles for fast, visible results where you want them most."
Boots says that Matrixyl 3000+ is "No7's powerful peptide blend that supports the skins natural springs providing elasticity and bounce, which depletes as we age." It adds that the serum is "powered to intensively target six key wrinkle zones," including the forehead, lip, and under eyes.
One happy customer wrote: "It really works! I've been using this for just two weeks and I can see an amazing difference in a deep frown line on my forehead. The product feels lovely to apply and most importantly it really works!"
A pleased shopper added: "Wow this does work. I was sceptical reading the other reviews but picked it up for £10 Tuesday offer. It really does work. After losing weight and gaining a few years, I noticed a few deep brow lines starting. After one week of they are virtually gone."
However, not everyone was happy with their results, reports the Mirror. An unimpressed customer said: "Been using a while and not noticed any visible difference. Glad I bought this on offer would not pay full price."
Another wrote: "Bit disappointing. Goes on nicely but can't really see its making a difference and this is the second one I've purchased..so don't think I'll buy any more."
Someone else replied: "Have nearly finished the vial in a short amount of time. I do not see the slightest difference in my lines. If it weren't for the Tuesday offer I would not have tried it. I don't think I will be repurchasing again. There are cheaper option on the market which are better."
However, many of the reviews remained positive. A different reviewer said: "It takes years off you! I have been using this product for a couple of weeks and have found it really works and is beneficial for my wrinkled skin." A fan added: "Stops the lines & wrinkles. I love this serum, works so well on reducing lines. Always get this when on offer."

At 53 I've turned back time on my neck, jaw & eyes to avoid surgery – these are non-negotiables & one's on sale in Boots
A GLAM 53-year-old has revealed her miracle skincare routine and tools she swears by to keep surgery at bay. TikToker Nadia Bekar, known as @NadiaBekar, wowed fans with her youthful looks as she explained how she's held off going under the knife by sticking to a few 'non-negotiables'. 2 Sharing her age-defying secrets with over 90,000 of her followers, Nadia said: 'I'm not against surgery, but I want to hold it off as long as possible and I feel like I've done quite a good job.' The beauty fan says her jawline is still 'very streamlined', her upper eyelids are 'not too bad' and she's 'turned back time' on her neck, all without cosmetic procedures. And her biggest rule is to invest in good skincare. 'You've got to throw some money at skincare, especially your active ingredients,' she said. 'Don't be scared of that. Your non-negotiables are: a good vitamin C serum, vitamin A and a strong SPF.' One of her top picks is the La Roche-Posay which she calls 'a great high street option' . Right now, it's £31.50 at Boots, down from £45, saving shoppers £13.50. Nadia also raves about Medik8, saying she 'makes no secret' of loving the brand. She uses their vitamin C serums, SPF, and even their physical sunscreens for daily protection. But skincare alone isn't enough, Nadia insists on incorporating powerful treatments too. 'Microneedling is a non-negotiable. Whether you do it at home or in a clinic, it's clinically proven to give results,' she told viewers. And she's not wrong. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, involves tiny sterile needles penetrating the skin to trigger controlled healing. This stimulates regeneration, renews structural collagen fibres, and strengthens elastin, helping to tighten, smooth and revive the skin over time. One cutting-edge option now used in clinics across the UK is the XCellarisPro Twist, a precision microneedling device with an adjustable needle depth of 0.25mm to 2.5mm. Designed to treat everything from acne scars and fine lines to pigmentation and enlarged pores, it offers a minimally invasive way to restore smoother, younger-looking skin across the face and body. Treatments last between 30 to 60 minutes, with results building gradually over a course of sessions. Most people experience a bit of redness or flaking for a few days afterwards, but full recovery is typically seen within a week. Prices for microneedling start from £150 per session, depending on the clinic. While results vary, Nadia showed off her own transformation with visible improvements to her neck that she says left her more confident than ever. 'These things work, just remember, everyone's results will vary depending on their skin type and condition.' Another game-changer in her routine is a radio frequency device that combines microcurrent and infusion technology. She says the results on her neck in just four weeks were incredible. Showing off her before-and-after photos, Nadia added: 'I can actually say I'm confident with my neck for the first time in my life.' Experts agree that visible signs of ageing, like sagging, fine lines and dullness, tend to show up in your 30s and 40s, which is when anti-ageing measures should start. Regular SPF use, retinol (vitamin A), and skin-brightening vitamin C can make a huge difference when used consistently. And with powerful serums like La Roche-Posay 's now on sale, it's the perfect time to stock up. At home anti-ageing If you've tried every hack under the sun to smooth out your fine lines, but still feel like you're fighting a losing battle, it might be time to ditch the contour stick and bring in the big guns. Salon anti-ageing treatments can cost an absolute fortune, and let's be honest, not all of us have the time or the cash for regular appointments. But one high-tech beauty gadget is giving expensive facials a serious run for their money. Enter the Nira Pro+ Laser – a sleek, easy-to-use wrinkle-busting device that lets you zap fine lines at home, pain-free. This clever little machine uses laser tech to stimulate your skin's natural collagen, helping it repair itself over time, so rather than masking the signs of ageing, it actually targets them at the root. Think of it as a personal time machine for your face. And unlike most at-home gadgets that claim big things and deliver very little, the Nira is FDA-cleared, clinically proven, and actually works. It's the first and only pain-free at-home laser with a precision tip small enough to target those tricky areas around your eyes and mouth, where crow's feet and smile lines love to live. You'll start seeing results in as little as 90 days, and because it's got five comfort levels, there's no redness, no downtime, and zero discomfort. Skin expert and founder, David Bean swears by it, calling it 'far more effective than LED masks' and praising its long-lasting results. 'The best part is, it's unlimited use,' he explains. 'You can keep it in your beauty arsenal and use it whenever you feel your skin needs a boost. It's a smart investment that keeps on giving.' At £615, it's not exactly pocket change but when you compare that to the price of regular in-clinic laser sessions or injectables, the Nira more than pays for itself. For something a little more low-maintenance, ESK Evidence Skincare's Ageless Microneedle Patches offer a fuss-free fix.

Simple 14p supplement can help protect against stroke or heart attack triggering condition
A new study has revealed a simple 14p algae supplement can treat people's high blood pressure, lowering their risk of a stroke or heart attack. The researchers found edible algae like spirulina—which is available at Boots and Holland and Barrett in supplement and powder forms—lower blood pressure. The dietary supplement spirulina is a blue-green algae known for its nutritional value—as it is high in protein, iron, B vitamins and antioxidants like phycocyanin. This blue pigment comes from the presence of phycocyanin, a natural protein which supports immune, cardiovascular, liver, and brain health. Meanwhile, the green comes from chlorophyll, which also has antioxidant, detoxifying, anti‑inflammatory, and gut‑supporting effects. The findings of the study, which reviewed 29 trials with 1538 participants, were recently published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. The majority of trials tended focused on edible algae as supplements, but others also looked at tablets, pills, drinks and powder. Their analysis found consuming 3 grams a day of whole edible algae, especially Spirulina, for at least 12 weeks lowers blood pressure. 'This suggests that edible microalgae may serve as a natural approach to managing hypertension, complementing pharmacological treatments,' said the authors. The silent killer, high blood pressure, also called hypertension, can lead to life threatening complications like strokes or heart attacks. This is because it damages blood vessels, narrowing and stiffening them—which can result in ruptures and blockages, triggering the life-threatening events. Symptoms of high blood pressure include headaches, blurred vision, nose bleeds and chest pain. However, the British Heart Foundation has warned that most people don't realise they have high blood pressure, because the symptoms aren't obvious. So, that's why they urge people to regularly get their blood pressure checked—which is offered for free at GPs, some workplaces and many pharmacies. Classic ways to lower blood pressure include having a healthy according to the National Health Service (NHS) are, a healthy, balanced diet and regular exercise. But others include reducing salt, quitting smoking, reducing alcohol intake, and drinking less coffee. It comes as Pret A Manger recently released their vibrant blue spirulina-laced iced latte this summer. However, the coffee shop chain hasn't publicly disclosed how many grams of spirulina are in the drink. The latest study also looked at other microalgae, but spirulina was the most effective, reducing SBP by 5.28mmHg and DBP by 3.56mmHG. And you buy Cytoplan Organic Spirulina that offers 120 capsules for £16.80—it costs 14p per capsule. Systolic blood pressure (SBP) is the pressure in arteries when the heart contracts and diastolic blood pressure (DPB) is the pressure when it rests between beats. The researchers also compared microalgae like Spirulina with macroalgae like seaweeds like kelp. They found microalgae drove the most benefits with macroalgae having now significant effect. The scientists also found whole algae—the actual algae dried and eaten like spirulina powder—is more effective in lowering blood pressure. This was compared to extracts or bioactive compounds pulled out of the algae such as phycocyanin, the blue pigment. Their findings could suggest that your trendy Pret A Manger drink isn't as effective at lowering blood pressure as the spirulina whole algae supplements. While a 2022 study suggested a safe dose for adults is between three and 10 grams daily, people should not exceed the dose on the product label. Spirulina shouldn't be taken by those on blood thinners or have an autoimmune condition, bleeding disorder, allergies, or phenylketonuria (PKU)—a rare genetic disorder. Meanwhile, there is limited data on spirulina and pregnancy, so it is difficult to say whether it is safe or unsafe while someone is expecting a baby.

Lisa Snowdon loves this hair serum that's 'must have for hair loss' now 20% off
With 50% of women experiencing hair loss due to a variety of factors, Lookfantastic has launched a 20% off deal on some of hair rejuvenating brand Nioxin's bestselling products, including its Anti-Hair Loss Serum Stress, hormonal changes, postpartum recovery, diet or simply wearing tight hair styles can all lead to us experiencing some sort of hair loss and thinning, regardless of age. While its something 50% of women will experience this in their life, a relatively normal amount to shed is between 50 to 100 hairs per day. But for those for whom hair loss is a little more than this, showcased in more hair in hairbrush, parting become wider and more bald spots, this byproduct can often leave a person lacking in confidence. One brand that has received a lot of love for its anti-hair loss products, including model and Celebrity Masterchef star Lisa Snowdon - who's been open about her own hair loss journey - is NIOXIN. It's currently running a promotion to mark Hair Loss Awareness month that sees 20% knocked off the price of some of its best-sellers on Lookfantastic. One product included in this deal is the 4.7 star rated Anti-Hair Loss Serum Hair Growth Serum for Thinning Hair, which usually retails at £57.50 but is now £46. The NIOXIN Anti-Hair Loss Serum Hair Growth Serum for Thinning Hair is a leave-in serum that has been designed to minimise the risk of breakage and hair fall out. Lookfantastic shares that beauty fans who have used this product have experienced 'crazy' results in as little as eight weeks, with 93% of participants in a clinical study experiencing improved hair anchorage. The serum - which is recommended to be used alongside the brand's shampoo and conditioner - is enriched with hair follicle stimulating caffeine, lauric acid and niacinamide. As well as SANDALORE™, which helps improve hair anchorage, the formula works to nourish and protect the scalp in order to promote optimal conditions for healthy-looking hair growth. Claiming to delivering stronger, thicker hair from the first use, the serum requires 15 pumps to the scalp (or dry or wet hair) which are to massaged in - and not washed out. This NIOXIN product rivals the likes of brands such as UKLASH and Skin + Me, whose hair regrowth products have received rave reviews from beauty buffs and celebrities alike. UKLASH's Hair Growth Serum costs a little less at £40 for a one time purchase and uses active ingredients like AnaGain™(Pea Sprout Extract), Phytic Acid and Turmeric to 'revitalise and stimulate hair growth' at the scalp. It also uses Lemon Fruit Water to condition and protect the hair follicle. Skin + Me's The Drops for hair growth are an even more affordable option as they're currently on sale for £14.99 down from £34.99. With major results reported in three to six months with consistent use, the Skin + Me formula claims to 'reverse loss', 'stop thinning' and 'restore density' with its scientifically proven active ingredients. The NIOXIN serum - which Lisa Snowdon has said is a 'game changer' for thinning hair - has delivered 'visible' results from shoppers, with one five star review raving on the Lookfantastic website: "I've been using Nioxin Anti-Hair Loss Serum for a few weeks, and I'm pretty impressed. The serum is easy to apply just pump once on your palm and spread. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy on my scalp. "I've noticed a slight improvement in the thickness of my hair, I have little baldness on my side head and it seems to be growing back in that area where it was thinning. It doesn't have a strong smell, which I like. "While it's still early to tell if it'll completely stop hair loss, I've definitely seen some positive changes, and I feel more confident about my hair's health. Definitely worth trying it." The serum has received strong reviews, with one shopper remarking: "I have been using the Nioxin Anti-Hair Loss Serum Growth Serum for thinning hair for a few months now, and I am genuinely impressed with the results. Initially, I was sceptical about trying another product for hair thinning, but this serum has exceeded my expectations." They added: "Over time, my hair has begun to feel thicker, and I'm even noticing some regrowth in areas that were visibly thinning. I also appreciate that the serum has a pleasant, subtle scent, unlike many other treatments I've tried. "It's now a staple in my hair care routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with thinning hair or looking to improve their scalp health. Nioxin has truly delivered with this product, and I feel much more confident about my hair than I have in years!" "I've been using this for about 8 months now and the amount of hair that I shed now in comparison to before is crazy," said another. "It really does help with my excess shedding and also my hairline is looking a bit fuller in the patches that were thinning I think consistency is key with this." Someone else noted how they saw results in as little as one week and said: "The best hair grow serum for hair! I could see results after for weeks of using it. You have to be consistent with the product but it's working well. Great value. Highly recommend" While many people did see some results, some have struggled, with one person saying: "Have used it few times, not seen any difference yet, will persevere for longer, isn't making my hair any worse so will just keep going for a while yet." Someone else noted on the Nioxin serum: "Very great product! Since I began using this system my hair loss has slowed down considerably. When using the shampoo with the conditioner and the serum, it has certainly contributed to the health and thickness of my hair."
