Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant love story: Mukesh Ambani's bahu Radhika Merchant had issues with Anant due to…, she used to ‘complain' over his...
While Anant and Radhika have known each other for years and have moved in the same social circle, there were stages when the duo had some differences. Anant has always been extremely dedicated to his work, especially Vantara, an ambitious initiative focused on animal rescue and care. At one point, Anant shared that he worked 15–16 hours a day, balancing his time between Vantara and other commitments, which left Radhika feeling 'sidelined.'
Speaking in an interview with CNBC-TV18, Anant shared, 'I've always believed in giving my all to what I care about. Vantara is close to my heart, so I dedicate at least one and a half hours daily to it. The rest of the time—about 14 hours—I spend supporting my father and our ventures. So, yes, I was working close to 15 hours every day. Back then, Radhika would often complain about how little time we had together.'
Anant, in a heartfelt interview with The Times of India, revealed his love for animals. He shared how his parents played an important role in teaching him how to care for animals deeply and how caring for them brings blessings and good karma. 'Since childhood, I've been around animals. My parents always said that helping the voiceless is a great act of kindness. In our Hindu tradition, even Lord Ram cared for Jatayu and helped a little squirrel—and both returned their blessings in their own ways,' he said.
Meanwhile, coming back to Anant's wedding and the festivities, the couple threw three major pre-wedding festivities which witnessed the presence of many Bollywood celebs. Finally, the couple tied the knot on 12 July 2024.

Metro In Dino Box Office Day 1: Anurag Basu Film Opens At Rs 3 Cr, Beats Life In A Metro By 300%
Last Updated: As per early estimates by Sacnilk, Metro In Dino first-day collection marks a 300% improvement over Basu's 2007 sleeper hit Life In A Metro. Metro In Dino Box Office Collection Day 1: Anurag Basu's much-anticipated romantic drama Metro In Dino opened in theatres to a decent start, earning Rs 3.04 crore on Day 1 at the box office. As per early estimates by Sacnilk, the ensemble film's first-day collection marks a 300% improvement over Basu's 2007 sleeper hit Life In A Metro, which had opened at just Rs 80 lakh. While Rs 3 crore may appear modest compared to blockbuster debuts, it's a solid opening for a romantic drama in today's theatrical landscape. The genre rarely sees high first-day numbers in India. The performance is particularly encouraging given the film's scale and its strong ensemble cast featuring Sara Ali Khan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal. The film is a spiritual successor to Life In A Metro and explores modern relationships across different cities through four interconnected love stories. Anurag Basu's signature storytelling style, combined with Pritam's soul-stirring music, has already received widespread acclaim. Konkona is the only actor from the original cast to return in this film. Metro In Dino has been praised for its nuanced take on love and commitment. An excerpt from News18's review states, 'It's not every day that we get to see a Bollywood love story written with so much heart, maturity, intensity, intimacy and subtlety. Metro In Dino is a masterclass on modern-day love. It's for the lonely, for the ones who won in love and then lost some. It's as much Anurag's film as Pritam's. Zamaana Lage, Dil Ka Kya, and Mann Ye Mera stand out particularly. Rush to the cinemas now!" The film's Day 1 success suggests it could enjoy positive word of mouth, similar to Life In A Metro, which went on to earn over Rs 24 crore domestically despite its slow start. Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai's love blossomed on sets of Hum Dil Chuke Sanam, shares co-star: ‘Both had moony eyes'
It's been nearly 25 years since Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam graced the silver screen, yet the film continues to be remembered not just for its cinematic brilliance but also for the real-life romance that unfolded behind the scenes. Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai, the lead pair of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 1999 romantic drama, fell in love during the making of the film. Their chemistry was undeniable, and according to co-star Smita Jaykar, who played Aishwarya's mother in the film, that off-screen affection significantly enhanced the film's emotional intensity. In a recent interview with Filmymantra, Smita opened up about the couple's dynamic on set. 'Their affair flourished there. And it helped the film a lot. Both of them had those moony-moony eyes, and romance was showing on their faces. That worked very well for the film,' she said, adding that their real emotions translated into authentic on-screen performances that elevated the storytelling. ALSO READ | 'Amitabh Bachchan was thrown out of the film, replaced by Sanjay Khan': Raza Murad recalls how Zanjeer changed Big B's fortune after 16 flops Reflecting on Salman Khan's personality during those days, Smita Jaykar described him as 'quite a brat,' but also 'a very nice, large-hearted person.' She noted that while he was known for his temper, she never witnessed him get angry on set. 'People tend to exaggerate when it comes to film personalities. We don't always know the other person's side—what they did to provoke that anger,' she pointed out. Smita also had kind words for Aishwarya Rai, calling her naturally beautiful and grounded. 'Without makeup, too, she looked so pretty. Very humble, very grounded—at least at that time when I knew her,' she said. Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam remains the only film in which Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai played love interests, although they briefly shared screen space in cameo appearances in Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. While their real-life romance was short-lived, it left a lasting impression on fans and became a memorable chapter in Bollywood history.
