Zoren Legaspi surprises Carmina Villarroel with birthday party
Her husband, Zoren Legaspi, threw her a surprise birthday party, as seen in Nice Print's photos on Instagram.
Carmina looked totally shocked as Zoren and their twins, Mavy and Cassy, welcomed her into the venue.
The actress was in a royal blue dress while all the guests were in white. She also got a white and gold birthday cake, and guests were treated to karaoke sessions.
'This makes us reminisce the iconic surprise wedding that [Zoren] pulled off for [Carmina],' Nice Print said. 'Fast forward to last weekend, another great surprise by Zoren and the twins [Cassy] and [Mavy]. Happy 50th birthday Carmina!' Nice Print said.
In her post, Carmina said, 'Golden moments for a golden milestone. Celebrating 50 years of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.'
Spotted at the party were Ashley Ortega, Ruffa Gutierrez, Karla Estrada, Aiko Melendez, Candy Pangilinan, Richard Yap, Eric Quizon, Janice and Gelli De Belen, and many more.
Carmina also marked her 50th birthday with a photoshoot showcasing her timeless beauty.
On her 50th birthday, Mavy honored her and said, '50 doesn't suit you because you honestly look 21… they always mistake you as our sister!'
The Legaspi Family earlier visited Australia, where they met the cast of 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps.'
They are set to star in the show 'Hating Kapatid.' It is their first series as a family.

Vic Sotto testifies in cyber libel case vs. Darryl Yap
Actor-host Vic Sotto on Tuesday testified before a Muntinlupa court for his cyber libel case against director Darryl Yap, his lawyer said. Atty. Enrique Dela Cruz, the actor's legal counsel, told GMA News Online that Sotto testified on the alleged malice on the part of Yap for making him appear that he raped Pepsi Paloma. The case stemmed from the teaser of the Yap's upcoming film, "The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma," released last January 1, where the character of Gina Alajar (who is portraying Charito Solis) asked the lead actress portraying Paloma if she was raped by actor-host Vic Sotto. The lead character replied, "yes." However, in his sworn judicial affidavit, Sotto said that a draft copy of the film showed that the scene shown in the teaser was cut short. Sotto also said that in a previous hearing, Yap testified that the full movie will not name him as one of the rapists. "The script of the movie stated that it was just a 'publicity stunt' but that was not mentioned in the teaser video," Dela Cruz said. Yap's camp declined to comment. Yap was charged for libel under Article 353 and 355 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended in relation to violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
