Daily Record6 days ago
Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have created their very own tipple, and fans of their family farm show are already keen to give it a try.
Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have delighted their followers with an exciting update from their cherished farm, receiving a warm response.

The couple's domestic life has been increasingly in the spotlight since they swapped city living for a more idyllic life with their kids on a sprawling 120-acre farm, raising their four young children.

Lately, the pair have opened up their farming adventures to the public eye through their hit ITV series Fletcher's Family Farm, which is set to grace screens again later this year with a fresh season and a Fletchers' Family Farm Christmas special.

Viewers of the programme have seen Kelvin, formerly known as Emmerdale's farmer Andy Sugden, genuinely take to the fields with Liz, and now the duo have announced something new which has delighted their online followers.
Taking to Instagram, Kelvin and Liz excitedly shared that they have crafted their own gin, offering fans a "little taste of our farm", as reported by Manchester Evening News.

Alongside images of their latest venture and the couple smiling with their signature spirit, they posted on their Fletcher's on the Farm Instagram account: "It's FINALLY here!
"Say hello to Fletcher's Wincle Peak Gin – a little taste of our farm in a bottle. We've been foraging, blending, and fine-tuning for months, and now it's ready to share!".
The post continued, "Infused with wild botanicals from our very own farm. Made using fresh spring water straight from our hills. Available in THREE delicious flavours: Classic Dry Gin, Apple, Mint and Lemon Verbena [and] Strawberry, Hibiscus and Black Pepper (yes, it's as good as it sounds)"This is a very limited run – once it's gone, that's it for now. Link in bio to grab your bottle and sip the spirit of the countryside. #FletchersGin #WinclePeakGin #FarmToBottle #ForagedFlavours#GinWithSoul."

Their followers were delighted as they shared their comments. One fan said: "I love the name you've given it, I may have to buy a bottle or two as presents." Another commented: "Looks gorgeous."
Someone else wrote: "Sounds delicious especially the strawberry and hibiscus flavour." One fan replied: "Looks great."

"Aww brilliant, I love a glass or 2 of gin. Have to give this one a try," posted another. One person simply added: "Love this."
It comes following Kelvin's confirmation that filming for the upcoming series of Fletcher's Family Farm is currently underway, with episodes expected to air by October.
He also revealed that another Fletchers' Family Farm Christmas special will return in December. Kelvin was enthusiastic when discussing the programme, as he said "The show has been really well received. I don't know what it is, but I think the audience is learning with us."

ITV Coronation Street fans 'work out' who has Logan 'killed' after brutal exit

Viewers think they know what really happened to Logan Radcliffe and who had him 'attacked' amid speculation he's been killed off after his exit aired On Friday's episode of Coronation Street, fears for Logan's life mounted after he appeared to be attacked following a revealing conversation with Carla Connor during a prison visit. ‌ The villain seemed to have divulged too much information to Carla, and shortly after a fellow inmate cautioned him about being overly talkative. A visibly shaken Logan protested his innocence as the cell door shut, hinting at an imminent assault. ‌ It comes as actor Harry Lowbridge announced his departure from the ITV soap, having wrapped filming his final scenes. This led viewers to speculate that Logan had met a grim fate in the cell, possibly orchestrated by someone wanting to silence him after his mention of a mysterious figure named Tia Wardley. ‌ Carla had been seeking clarity on the circumstances surrounding her partner Lisa Swain 's late wife Becky Swain's death. Lisa found herself unable to move on, plagued by uncertainties regarding Becky's troubles prior to her death and the reasons behind her fatal hit and run. During her visit to extract details from Logan about Becky, he demanded £10,000 in exchange for potential information. In the process he inadvertently mentioned Tia Wardley, though no further explanation was provided about their identity or connection to Becky, as reported by the Mirror. ‌ The mention of Wardley was enough to put Logan in hot water with a cellmate who shared a "mutual friend" they had both apparently angered, suggesting Logan needed to be permanently silenced. Following the cliffhanger, Harry confirmed his Corrie exit to his Instagram followers. This led fans to believe that Logan had met his demise and to speculation about who the mutual acquaintance is, and how they connect to the Becky storyline. ‌ Some predict a plot twist, suggesting that the individual behind Logan's demise could be none other than previous show antagonist Harvey Gaskell. Some suspect it's DI Costello or even Lisa's therapist Floyd, as they are eager for Lisa to cease her investigation into Becky's fate. Lisa herself was also suggested as a potential suspect, while both Becky and Tia were hinted by viewers to be the "mutual friend". ‌ One fan took to social media to declare: "Lisa definitely had Logan killed in prison." Another viewer speculated: "So that mutual friend? Costello? Kit? Tia? Or Becky herself?" A third chimed in: "Best guess at the moment is Costello or Floyd." Someone further added: "Was the killer sent by Costello?" while another queried: "Harvey?" Another comment read: "It's either Costello or Kit got Logan attacked inside."

Maya Jama will be on hand as Love Island couples Yasmin Pettet and Jamie Rhodes, Angel Swift and Ty Isherwood, Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley and Toni Laites and Cach Mercer compete for the £50,000 prize. Angel, 26, opted for a plunging black dress with a see-through lace skirt, while lady in red Yas, 24, stunned in a one shoulder frock complete with a thigh-high slash. Shakira, 22, opted for a blue satin number while Toni, 24, switched it up with a black bandeau top and matching tulle skirt. Last night Meg Moore and Dejon Noel-Williams were axed from the villa, just missing out on a place in the final, when ex-Islanders returned to cast the vote. And fans have backed their decision - insisting the controversial couple didn't deserve a spot in the final. Yas and Jamie, 26, are currently favourites to win the 2025 series. In a poll of Sun readers, they scored 28 per cent of the vote to scoop the prize, followed by Toni and Cach on 18.9 per cent and Shakira and Harry a whisker behind with 18.7 per cent. There's no denying Yas has been a stand-out Islander and made a splash the moment she entered the villa as a bombshell four days after the series kicked off. She stole the show when she offered 25-year-old Meg's boyfriend Dejon, 26, a threesome with her and Toni. And she had fans instantly obsessed with her perfect posture and quickly earned the nickname 'YasGPT' after a viral theory about her being an AI bot. Love Island in fix row as Yas lets slip she knows what the public call her and insisted she's not AI generated Yas has been fiercely loyal to pal Toni and last week - just days before the final - won praise from viewers when she told Jamie she doesn't see children in her future, despite him confessing a conflicting goal. One fan commented on social media at the time: 'Absolutely love her honesty. She could have been more ambiguous and led him down a path.' And another said: 'These are the kind of people who should be winning love island - setting an example of mature conversations.'
