Nita Ambani visits Vikas Khanna's NYC restaurant, joins welcome crew in dance performance. Watch
Accompanied by her daughter, Isha Ambani Piramal, and granddaughter Aadiya Shakti, Nita Ambani received a grand welcome from the restaurant crew. As she arrived, the crew showered flowers on her, and a group of dancers gave a welcome performance. In the video that has now gone viral, one of the performers is seen requesting Ambani to join them. A trained classical dancer herself, she smiled and gracefully joined the dancers.
During her visit, Ambani tasted a variety of dishes personally prepared by Chef Khanna, preparing for the food curation of the NMACC India Weekend, scheduled for September 12 to 14 in New York City at the iconic Lincoln Center. One of the highlights was a classic pani puri filled with caramelised pineapple.

The upcoming NMACC India Weekend is said to be a three-day cultural extravaganza. The event is organised to bring the artistic richness of NMACC in Mumbai to an international audience. It will include a dance workshop by Shiamak Davar, yoga sessions, a musical theatre performance, Indian food pop-ups, and more.
In a statement shared on the NMACC website, Ambani shared the vision behind the initiative: 'The weekend is designed to be a global celebration of India's cultural legacy – our art, crafts, music, dance, fashion, and food.'

NDTV Jai Jawan 2025: Aamir Khan Reveals His Pick For Bhuvan In Lagaan Remake
Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who will join the Indian soldiers at the border in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor as part of NDTV's Jai Jawan on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day, was quizzed about remaking his 2001 Oscar-nominated film Lagaan on the special programme. One of the soldiers asked the actor who could play his role of Bhuvan if the sports period drama, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, were to be remade today. Initially, Aamir Khan quipped, "Why will I let anyone else do it? I'll do it". After a bit of mulling over, the actor-filmmaker said, "I know the answer to this question. This is my choice that I'm sharing with you". And Aamir Khan's choice to lead a Lagaan remake was Vicky Kaushal. "I would have chosen Vicky Kaushal to play the role of Bhuvan... The character of Bhuvan, he has two-three qualities. He is very clean at heart and you feel the same when you look at Vicky. Dil ka sahi banda hai. Secondly, he (Bhuvan) has a lot of inner strength, he is like a mountain, pahaad ki chattaan. There's also a certain dignity, seriousness to him, he is also chulbula -- Vicky has all these qualities," the actor said on Jai Jawan. In Lagaan, Aamir Khan played the role of Bhuvan, a resolute villager of Champaner who encourages fellow villagers to come together and form a cricket team in a David-Versus-Goliath match with the officers of the British Indian Army as a wager to avoid paying the taxes they owe. Escape Plan announces partnership with HRX of Hrithik Roshan
New Delhi, Aug 13 (PTI) Tech-enabled travel platform Escape Plan on Wednesday announced a partnership with HRX, a homegrown fitness brand founded by Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and Exceed Entertainment, to launch a co-branded line of premium travel gear. The collaboration marks a significant step for both brands in building utility-driven, design-forward products that cater to the new-age Indian traveller, the company said in a statement. With a rapidly growing Direct to Customer (D2C) presence and a Rs 100 crore annualised run rate achieved within just three months of launch, with over 20 per cent coming from Offline Stores, Escape Plan is reimagining how India travels: combining performance, design, and tech-driven functionality across its expanding product portfolio, it said. The curated range will be available through Escape Plan's own and partner platforms and offline stores, reflecting its ethos of building products that today's consumers love, it added.
