Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy breaks down in tears in emotional ITV Lorraine scenes

Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy broke down in tears this morning and admitted she is "still working on accepting" his death during a conversation with Lorraine.
Liam, 31, died last October after he fell three floors from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Kate has now shared her feelings five months on, along with the final moments she spent with the Wolverhampton-born singer-songwriter.

In the highly-emotional interview, Kate said she's "still working on accepting the fact that he's not here anymore," explaining: "It's hard for me to refer to him in the past tense, and when I do refer to him in the past tense it almost stings that little bit more because… it just … it's more official."
Kate explained the significance of the necklace she was wearing, saying: "It actually is angel wings, I saw it in a little gift shop a couple of weeks ago and I feel like it spoke to me and matches my angel wing tattoos. I wear it quite often and it once again makes me feel closer to Liam."
Liam had travelled to the Argentinian capital with Kate to attend a performance from his former bandmate Niall Horan, with the 25-year-old influencer flying back to the US just days before Payne's death.
"I've never lost anybody close to me before," Kate said, "so this is my first time dealing with anything like this and going through this grief and healing journey.
"He has impacted so many people in this world and I know I'm not alone in this, so many other people are grieving. It shows how much of an impact he had on people's lives.
"He would light up any room he walked into and he had this sense of humour where he could make anything better and his presence was just comforting and warming and that is something I will never forget about him, ever."
Kate is now part of the March4March campaign, designed to motivate people to take a stroll and boost their mental health.
It was actually the number four that drew Kate to the organisation to begin with, saying: "For people that aren't familiar with the number four, it's mine and Liam's angel number which symbolises support and guidance from your angels, and I genuinely believe that Liam guided me to this campaign and wanted me to be involved in this to help other people. It's something that he wanted me to do."

Kate Middleton Adds a Dazzling Twist to Princess Diana's Engagement Ring

Kate Middleton Adds a Dazzling Twist to Princess Diana's Engagement Ring originally appeared on Parade. As Kate Middleton settled into her seat at Wimbledon on Saturday, July 12, eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed a surprising change to one of her most iconic pieces of jewelry. The Princess of Wales, who has worn the late Princess Diana's stunning cerulean sapphire since her 2010 engagement to Prince William, debuted a sparkling new twist on the 12-carat ring for a fresh, fashion-forward update. According to GB News, Kate paired the ring with two eternity bands and her original Welsh gold wedding band. Typically, the Princess of Wales pairs her engagement ring and wedding band together, and wears the other statement pieces separately. One of the newer additions is a diamond eternity ring, reportedly gifted to Kate by William following the birth of their first son, Prince George, in 2013. Per GB News, Kate's newest ring is believed to be Cartier's Étincelle de Cartier wedding band, which retails for over 6K. The new band was reportedly given to Kate by William while she was undergoing chemotherapy in 2024. It features 19 brilliant-cut diamonds and 19 brilliant-cut sapphires, adding a meaningful layer to her stack. She first debuted the striking sapphire and diamond piece in February 1981, during the official announcement of her engagement to then-Prince Charles. The ring became an instant sensation, but it caused waves within the royal family. Reportedly, Diana was given the option to choose her ring from a selection of royal jewels as well as pieces from the crown jeweler Garrard. She ultimately selected a ring from Garrard's catalogue. However, this choice broke with royal tradition as it wasn't custom-designed. Instead, it was a ready-made piece, and anyone with the financial means could have purchased the same ring. Picking this ring reportedly ruffled the royal family's feathers, even though the statement piece was priced out of the pockets of most everyday royal watchers. In 1981, it was reportedly retailed at about $60,000. When William proposed to Kate, he presented her with Diana's ring. He said during his engagement interview, 'It's my mother's engagement ring. I thought it was quite nice because obviously, she's not going to be around to share in the fun and excitement of it all.' 'I'm sure everyone recognizes it from previous times,' he continued. Kate added, 'I just hope I look after it.' Kate and William have been married since April 2011. They have three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The Princess Of Wales Brought Charlotte, George And William To Wimbledon

THE RUNDOWN On Sunday, Kate Middleton made an appearance at Wimbledon for the second day in a row, this time joined by her husband, Prince William, and their two older children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Their youngest, Prince Louis, did not join the family in their box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club this time. The group was there to watch Italy's Jannik Sinner compete against Spain's Carlos Alcaraz, with Princess Kate ultimately handing Sinner the Gentlemen's Singles Trophy for his win. For the event, Kate wore a royal blue dress with a deep V-neckline, padded shoulders, and a long flowing skirt. On her feet, she wore a pair of Ralph Lauren Collection Celia Calfskin Pumps and accessorized with hoop earrings and a pendant necklace. In the audience, the Princess of Wales beat the heat with a straw hat and a white fan. Charlotte was carrying her own matching fan, which she and her mom waved in between sharing comments on the game. The young princess was wearing a white dress trimmed in black with scalloped sleeves. She had her hair half up in braids and wore white patent leather Mary Janes. Kate was appointed as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in 2016 by Queen Elizabeth. On her lapel, the princess wore a purple and green ribbon in honor of her role. On Friday, she sported the same bow while watching Amanda Anisimova face off against Iga Swiatek in the women's singles final. For that event, Kate dressed in a white blazer top belted at the waist with a pleated white skirt. She presented the Venus Rosewater Dish to Swiatek for her win. On July 2, during a visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex, Kate opened up about figuring out her new life balance following cancer treatment. The princess announced she was in remission in January of this year after completing chemotherapy last September. 'You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment. Treatment's done, then it's like, "I can crack on, get back to normal,"' she shared. 'But actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.' She continued, 'You have to find your new normal and that takes it's a rollercoaster, it's not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times.' The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers: Bill's plan for Liam?

When Bill arrived at the hospital in the July 11 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, he was shocked to discover how angry everyone was at him when all he wanted to do was to see Liam. This week's spoilers reveal that he'll be stealing Liam away from the hospital, but why? What causes him to take action? What's his plan, and will he end up helping or hurting Liam in the long run? Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) got the shock of his life upon showing up at the hospital. He'd been alerted that Liam (Scott Clifton) was shot, but he wasn't expecting to learn that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was responsible for it. He was immediately met by a hostile Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), who wanted Bill to know that none of this would have happened if he hadn't pulled strings to get Luna released from prison. All Bill wanted was to see his son. He was shocked and devastated to learn he'd been shot — and he still has no idea that his son was already dying from an inoperable brain tumor. In this week's spoilers, it is revealed that Liam goes under the knife again, this time with Grace (Cassandra Creech). By Thursday's episode, Bill 'whisks an unconscious Liam away from the hospital' and that's that. Now, given that Finn (Tanner Novlan) was the one to remove the bullet when Liam initially arrived at the hospital, we have to wonder whether Grace's operation is tied to the brain tumor and that's the reason Bill decides to continue Liam's care elsewhere. Dollar Bill clearly has a plan here — it's not like he's making a decision to care for Liam at home because that would be foolish. It seems like Bill may have learned about his son's condition (probably through Hope, who was urging Liam to tell Bill) and then he made some calls to find out where his son could receive the best care. And then, regardless of medical advice, he made the decision to move Liam to wherever he needed to be to get the best care possible. Bill is known for being impulsive. It didn't help learning that his son was injured because of a decision he made to try to help Luna, but instead of admitting he was wrong, he's going to focus on doing whatever he can to fix things. And helping his son to survive is the first order of business. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS and the following day on Paramount Plus.
