BTS' Jimin Is Really Killin' It With His Moves In New Dance Reel
Last Updated:
This comes nearly two weeks after Jimin was discharged from the military on June 12, following the completion of his mandatory service.
ARMYs are elated today. Why? Because BTS' Park Jimin just shared a video of him dancing, that too on J-Hope's recently released song Killin' It Girl. This comes nearly two weeks after he was discharged from the military on June 12, following the completion of his mandatory service. He was relieved from his duties alongside his teammate Jungkook. The duo had enlisted together under the military buddy program.
Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday, June 24, Jimin surprised his fans with an impromptu dance video. Dressed in a laidback outfit comprising an oversized t-shirt and relaxed fit pants paired with a bucket hat, the BTS star was seen nailing the steps of Killin' It Girl. Despite being away from dance practices, Jimin proved that he is still very efficient in what he does best.
Towards the end of the clip, he even started laughing while looking at someone behind the camera, seemingly hinting that Jungkook was also with him. In the caption, Jimin simply wrote, '#jhope_killinitgirl #jhope #ji̇mi̇n #jk."
Within just minutes of posting the video, it went viral, raking up more than 7 million views in the first hour. The dance reel also popped up on J-Hope's Instagram feed, who, without wasting any time, praised Jimin. In the comment section, the 31-year-old BTS rapper and dancer wrote, 'What the hell!!!!" followed by two shock face emoticons and in another, he dropped a series of fire emojis.

J-Hope released Killin' It Girl on June 13, right in time for BTS' 12th debut anniversary. It was the last single in his series of solo songs, which he began releasing in February. Previously, he dropped the tracks Sweet Dreams, feat. Miguel and Mona Lisa.
Speaking of Jimin, the 29-year-old singer and songwriter has not shared any details regarding his projects post-military discharge. However, he did interact with ARMYs through a Weverse broadcast with Jungkook. During the broadcast, Jimin revealed that he had gained nearly 10 kilograms while serving in the 5th Infantry Division. He admitted, 'I've been on a diet but gained 10 kilograms in the military," and shared that even morning workouts did not help him reduce his weight, which he initially thought was swelling.
As for his work front, Jimin released his second album Muse in July 2024 while he was still in the military.

Bobby Sherman, known for his boy-next-door charm in the late 1960s, passed away on June 24. The teen idol died after a long battle with cancer. His wife, Brigette Sherman, announced the news of her husband's demise via actor John Stamos' Instagram handle since they are good friends. Stamos started the post with, 'From one ex teen idol, to another - rest in peace Bobby Sherman. This is from his wife, my friend, Brigitte…' while sharing a couple of photos of the late American singer and actor, with Brigitte and himself. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) Sherman's wife went on to write, 'It is with the heaviest heart that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Bobby Sherman. Bobby left this world holding my hand—just as he held up our life with love, courage, and unwavering grace through all 29 beautiful years of marriage,' adding that she was his 'Cinderella, and he was my prince charming. Even in his final days, he stayed strong for me. That's who Bobby was—brave, gentle, and full of light. ' Sherman's cancer diagnosis was disclosed earlier this year, when Brigitte shared moving updates – revealing Sherman's desire to spend his final days at home, surrounded by family, crossword puzzles, and their beloved dogs. The 'Little Woman' singer passed away peacefully at his Encino home, surrounded by loved ones, with Brigitte at his side. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Your Finger Shape Says a Lot About Your Personality, Read Now Tips and Tricks Undo What is kidney cancer ? Kidney cancer – or renal cell carcinoma (RCC) – develops in the kidneys, crucial organs responsible for filtering blood and removing toxins via urine. RCC is the most common form, and unfortunately, it's informally known for 'silent growth': many people with early-stage RCC have no symptoms. By the time symptoms manifest – such as blood in urine or back pain – the disease may already be advanced. Around 50% of RCC cases are detected quite late. Once diagnosed, Stage 4 indicates the cancer has spread beyond the kidneys. Early signs of kidney cancer : What to watch for Although early detection is rare, being aware of subtle changes can save lives. Early signs of kidney cancer can be subtle or absent, but some potential indicators include blood in the urine, persistent pain in the side or lower back, and unexplained weight loss. Other possible symptoms include fatigue, a lump or mass in the abdomen, and fever. Here are the most common early warning signs: Hematuria (blood in urine): Often appears as pink, red, or dark brown urine. May be painless, intermittent, or only visible under a microscope. One of the most significant red flags for RCC Persistent back or side pain: Typically affects one flank, just below the ribs. It can range from a dull ache to intense discomfort. Palpable lump or mass: In some cases, a physician may feel a lump in the abdomen or side during a physical exam. Unexplained weight loss and loss of appetite: Unintentional weight loss paired with reduced appetite may indicate systemic effects of a tumor. Chronic fatigue or weakness: Anemia from internal bleeding or metabolic changes can lead to exhaustion. Unexplained fever and night sweats: Low-grade fevers and excessive sweating at night may accompany cancer even without infection. Swelling in legs and ankles: Results from fluid retention, possibly due to impaired kidney function, might be an early indicator. While some symptoms can be subtle, it's important to be aware of potential warning signs and seek medical attention if you experience any concerning symptoms, especially if you have risk factors for kidney cancer. Early diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve outcomes and increase the chances of successful recovery. How to prevent To help prevent kidney cancer, focus on a healthy lifestyle. This includes maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, and avoiding tobacco use. Additionally, managing chronic health issues like high blood pressure and being mindful of potential workplace toxins can be beneficial. Regular medical checkups are also crucial for early detection. Here's a more detailed look: Lifestyle modifications: Eat a Balanced Diet. Focus on a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and consider limiting processed foods and red meat. Maintain a Healthy Weight. Being overweight or obese increases the risk of kidney cancer. Exercise Regularly. Physical activity helps with weight management and overall health, which can reduce the risk of kidney cancer. Avoid tobacco use and limit alcohol consumption: Smoking is a major risk factor for kidney cancer. On the other hand, while moderate alcohol consumption might be associated with a slight decrease in risk, it's generally advised to avoid excessive alcohol intake due to its link with other cancers. Manage chronic conditions: High blood pressure and other chronic health issues can increase the risk of kidney cancer. Managing these conditions with medication and lifestyle changes can be beneficial. Stay hydrated: Adequate hydration can help maintain kidney health and reduce the risk of kidney stones, which can increase the risk of kidney cancer. Be aware of workplace toxins: Some chemicals, like trichloroethylene, have been linked to kidney cancer. If you work with such substances, take necessary precautions and be aware of potential risks. Regular medical checkups: Routine checkups, including imaging tests like ultrasound, can help detect kidney cancer early, when it's often more treatable. BTS' Suga mobilises global ARMY to raise over 200 million won in 24 hours with one quiet, heartfelt gesture
BTS' Suga aka Min Yoongi, had been quietly working on a special project for the last seven months without public knowledge. The K-pop member, who recently completed his public service and is now preparing for a major musical comeback, reportedly donated 5 billion won (around $3.6 million) to Severance Hospital in Seoul. The donation is to build a treatment centre for children with autism. K-pop media outlets reported that the Daechwita crooner didn't just donate the sum, he was also directly involved in the project, having worked with doctors, visited kids, and funded a special music-based therapy program. As soon as the news broke, thousands of fans across the globe flooded the donation centre with generous contributions. Also read: Every BTS member's brand power ranked after military discharge; Jimin, Jungkook lead June K-pop reputation index According to Korea JoongAng Daily, on Tuesday around 9 a.m., public donations for the Autism Centre had crossed 200 million won, approximately $145,000 USD, just hours after Suga's contribution was made public, Severance Hospital said in a statement. (Within just six hours, donations topped 100 million won.) The revelation came during the facility's groundbreaking ceremony, and at the time of writing, donations continue to pour in. The new centre, named the Min Yoongi Treatment Centre and currently under construction, is expected to open in September 2025. It will include dedicated facilities for children's mental health care, offering therapy for language, behaviour, and emotional development. Another wing of the department will focus on combining clinical treatment with academic research. On social media, Korean netizens helped translate the donation instructions into multiple languages and shared them to let people from around the world contribute. In response to the overwhelming support, Yonsei University Health System (which manages the hospital) even added a permanent donation section on their website for the Min Yoongi Centre. Also read: BTS is home: But why ARMY's energy just isn't the same anymore; analysing 5 factors For the project, Suga partnered with Dr. Chun Geun A, a top child psychiatrist at Severance Hospital, and together they came up with the idea of MIND (short for Music, Interaction, Network, Diversity). The initiative will let autistic kids use music as a way to express their emotions and connect better with others. During his military service in the public welfare sector, Suga spent weekends at the hospital. It was reported that the singer often spent a lot of time in the hospital playing guitar for the kids, volunteering, and doctors noticed real improvements in how the kids communicated. Earlier, the rapper had said, 'I realised that music can be a powerful way to express feelings and communicate with the world. It made me happy to be part of the treatment process for children with autism. I'll keep working so more children can live as full members of society.' The centre is now shaping up to become one of South Korea's most progressive facilities for autism therapy.
