has generated a buzz of excitement among the fans in Jamshedpur. The keen '
Men of Steel
' fans are eagerly waiting to take on the one-time champion Football Club (FC) Goa at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
Adding to the excitement is the preparation being done by JFC to ensure that its fans watch the thrilling contest live on a giant screen. "We are putting up a giant screen at the community centre ground in Dhatkidih for our soccer fans to watch the final match live," JFC media in-charge Amit Kumar said.
The crowd, which is expected to come in large numbers from across the city, can enjoy food and soft drinks from stalls set up at the ground to make the most of the eventful evening. Moreover, the hospitality sector is also planning to live telecast the match on big screens.
Hotelier Raja Singh said he would show the final match live on a big screen at their hotel-cum-resort, located on the Tata-Ranchi NH-33. "IPL matches are being screened live on our big screen, but tomorrow's football match of JFC is important and will be shown live to our guests," Raja Singh said.

Following the announcement, AIFF came up with an optimistic message, stating that it will take all the necessary steps to ensure the continuity of the Indian Super League. 'If the league doesn't take place, it is not only footballers but the people who are associated with football that will be affected. It's thousands of people who will be affected. So, we will put our best effort to ensure that the league happens,' AIFF president Kalyan Chaubey had said. The current agreement between FSDL and AIFF, which brings the league's structure operations and commercial framework under the purview, is set to expire on December 8. As the league season typically starts in September and lasts till April, the situation has become complex with broadcasters needing clarity to plan logistics and commercial activations. AIFF to meet ISL club CEOs; Bengaluru FC holds back salaries
Amidst growing uncertainty over the conduct of the 2025-26 Indian Super League (ISL) season, officials of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) will meet the CEOs of eight ISL clubs in New Delhi on Thursday. With the Master Rights Agreement (MRA) between the AIFF and Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) – which runs India's top flight – in limbo, heads of clubs such as Bengaluru FC, Kerala Blasters and FC Goa had written to the AIFF on July 28 seeking a meeting. Among the biggest signs of distress is that multiple clubs have scaled back operations and even pulled out of the ongoing Durand Cup. Odisha FC has suspended player contracts, and the JSW-owned Bengaluru FC, late on Monday, announced that it would hold back salaries of first-team players and staff until the impasse was broken. It is to be noted that the AIFF and FSDL cannot go ahead with discussions to renew the MRA which expires this December. The Supreme Court of India, which entrusted the preparation of a new constitution for the AIFF to Justice (Retd.) L. Nageswara Rao, has barred the two parties from negotiating until it delivers the judgment in a case related to the election of AIFF office-bearers in violation of National Sports Code back in 2017. It is also a matter of concern that in the limited parleys the AIFF and FSDL held before the SC stricture, the two football entities were not on the same page with respect to the framework of the new agreement. It is still not clear when the SC would pronounce the judgment that it reserved on April 30. It also remains to be seen whether the National Sports Governance Bill, set to be introduced in the Parliament by the Union Government in the ongoing monsoon session, has any bearing on the final SC-approved AIFF constitution.

Bengaluru FC on Monday said that it has 'indefinitely' suspended salaries of players and staff belonging to its first team, which includes India's record goalscorer Sunil Chhetri, citing the uncertainty around the future of the Indian Super League (ISL) as a direct reason behind the decision. The club's statement comes amid growing unease among the Indian football system over the impasse between the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Football Sport Development Limited (FSDL), the joint venture that runs the ISL. It has led to the the league's upcoming season being 'put on hold', as stated in the FSDL's letter to all clubs that went out on early last month.
