Dolphins trade No. 116 overall draft pick to Texans
The Miami Dolphins have an extra third-round pick in 2026 after a trade with the Houston Texans on Saturday.
In exchange for a pair of Day 3 selections, the Dolphins scooped up value next year and a sixth-rounder. Here's the full trade:

Texans receive:
No. 116 overall (Round 4)
No. 224 overall (Round 7)
Houston entered the day with two third-round selections in 2026, after acquiring an extra one from the New York Giants in a trade made on Thursday. It's unclear for now if the Dolphins will get the Texans' third-rounder of New York's.
The Texans used their new selection to take USC running back Woody Marks.
Miami made a similar deal last year when it gave up a 2025 third-round pick to acquire a 2024 fourth-round selection that was used to draft running back Jaylen Wright.

PITTSBURGH — Skylar Thompson isn't Aaron Rodgers. He's not Mason Rudolph or Will Howard, either. The Pittsburgh Steelers' most inconspicuous quarterback is used to being glanced over. His current situation isn't any different. 'In the most humble way possible, I feel like I've been overlooked my whole life a little bit,' Thompson said after Wednesday's OTA practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. 'I've never really have had anything given to me, so it's not really a new situation. It's not new to me. But, I try to carry that chip on my shoulder.' He went 18 for 45 for 220 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions in that clash. He brings that experience to Pittsburgh, and he isn't resigning himself to holding a clipboard. Bostock's four tries fire Dolphins to destroy Cowboys
The Dolphins have surged to sixth position on the NRL ladder, with four tries to winger Jack Bostock and another masterclass by halves Kodi Nikorima and Isaiya Katoa firing a 58-4 thrashing of North Queensland. Four-try hero Bostock, who will surely represent NSW in the future, ensured the Dolphins entered the stratosphere for attacking football and defensive resolve in sequence. The ruthless Dolphins became just the sixth side in premiership history to win three consecutive games by at least 36 points after a 56-6 win over St George Illawarra and 44-8 victory over Canterbury. Former Cowboys centre Brent Tate said on Fox League it was "one of the worst" performances by the club he has seen, despite them missing four State of Origin stars. The Dolphins have won seven of their past 10 matches and are clearly the best-coached and performed side of all the Queensland teams. With their four best forwards out for the season, the response of the side from a 0-4 start to the campaign has been nothing short of extraordinary under coach Kristian Woolf. Tyreek Hill runs 100 meters in 10.15 seconds at California track meet
Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill showed up with little fanfare at a track meet in California on Friday and won the 100-meter dash with an impressive time of 10.15 seconds. That's an incredibly fast race considering that Hill is 31 years old and hadn't run track competitively since college, and shows that if Hill had wanted to focus on track instead of football, he has the talent to be an elite sprinter. DK Metcalf, who competed in a 100-meter race in 2021, was widely praised for his time of 10.37 seconds. Hill bested Metcalf's time easily. Advertisement Hill's race was part of the Last Chance Sprint Series, and the competition Hill beat was solid: Isaac Bostio, who was last year's NCAA Division II national champion in the 100 meters, finished second among all the 100-meter runners at the meet, behind Hill at 10.18 seconds. In Hill's own heat, the second-place finisher was former Michigan sprinter Asani Hampton in 10.26 seconds. Hill has been talking up a race with Noah Lyles, and after winning the race on Friday, Hill held up a sign saying, "Noah could never." The reality is Lyles could beat Hill easily in a 100-meter sprint, but Hill still did something incredibly impressive on the track on Friday.
