President Trump Might Have Been Caught 'Cheating' During Golf Round
Was the President of the United States caught "cheating" at golf over the weekend?
President Trump, 79, is playing at his golf course in Scotland, Trump Turnberry, this weekend. The President of the United States played 18 holes on Saturday and another 18 holes on Sunday. However, was he caught cheating during the round?
Legendary sports writer Rick Reilly says that President Trump is an avid cheater at golf.
'I've always said golf is like bicycle shorts. It reveals a lot about a guy,' Reilly said about Trump's golf game. 'And what it reveals about this guy is that he cannot lose. He has to win and he will do anything to cheat.'
"And I know because I played golf with him and he took seven mulligans. He took a 'give me chip-in.' I've never even heard of a 'give me chip-in,'" he added.
President Trump has won a lot of club championships over the years. But Reilly isn't buying it.
'What he does [is] he just calls in and goes, 'I usually beat that guy, give me the trophy,'' Reilly alleged.
'And I know this because when I play with him, he goes, 'You know what I do to win these championships, don't ya?' and I go, 'Please tell me. Give it to me.' And he goes, 'Anytime I buy a new course, I play the first round all by myself and then I declare myself the club champion,'' Reilly continued. 'So that's what kind of guy this is.'
This weekend, video has surfaced, showing President Trump's caddie dropping a ball in the rough, seeming to give him a better approach shot.
