The Cleaning Lady Ends Season 4 on an Unresolved Note — Do You Want to See a Fifth Season?

Yahoo04-06-2025
The Cleaning Lady is still awaiting word on whether it will return to Fox for a fifth season — but in the meantime, Tuesday's Season 4 conclusion sure didn't feel like a series finale. On the contrary, Thony's got more unresolved mess to clean up than ever before.
The season ender was a two-hour roller coaster for Thony, who began the episode in prison for Rex Blackley's murder, but ended it as a free woman with all charges against her dropped. In the middle, she a) survived multiple beatings from Ramona Sanchez and her cronies while incarcerated, b) snuck out of prison during a riot in which Ramona and several other inmates escaped, c) avoided getting buried alive by Ramona, thanks to a last-minute assist from Fiona, and d) was reunited with sweet Luca, despite Ramona's attempt to abduct both him and Violeta and raise them as her own children. And that's to say nothing of Thony's eventful few days in jail, which included everything from healing her cellmate's arthritis to giving an entire cell block food poisoning. Our girl's been busy.

Anyway, here's how it shook out in the end:
* Just when Ramona planned to bury Thony alive and head off with Luca and Violeta in tow, Fiona arrived and thwacked Ramona in the head with a shovel, knocking her unconscious. Thony initially planned to finish the job by killing Ramona, calling it 'an act of compassion for the world,' but ultimately couldn't bring herself to do it. Instead, she tossed Ramona into the grave intended for herself, closed the lid, and covered the box with dirt. Thony later told Jorge that Ramona wouldn't be a problem 'ever again'… but in the closing moments, we saw Ramona regain consciousness underground, screaming as she realized she'd been buried.
* Jorge lost control of the Sin Cara cartel, and he was replaced by the power-hungry Feng. Jorge and Violeta then boarded a private plane that would take them somewhere safe — a place where Jorge could also get 'what I need to crush Feng; I refuse to let him take Sin Cara away from me.' Jorge invited Thony and Luca to join him, but she insisted that she chose the cartel life, and she'll find a way to deal with Feng while Jorge's gone.
* Before jetting off, Jorge gave Thony a small book of crucial information, which she was told to use as a bargaining chip with Joel Herman, now the new district attorney. ('It's what Joel needs to take down Sam Heller,' Jorge explained.) Thony did meet with Joel later on, but she gave the book of secrets to Feng instead — a record of 'dirty players and deals' kept by the former D.A., which Feng can now use to bribe and manipulate the appropriate people. In exchange for the book, Thony told Feng she wants to be made a full cartel associate. Meanwhile, in her meeting with Joel, Thony offered to make herself an informant for the D.A.'s office; she'll go back to the cartel, do her job, and report everything to Joel in order to help him prosecute a major corruption case against Sin Cara funder Sam Heller. In exchange, Joel would drop all charges against Thony and let her walk free.
Both men appeared to agree to Thony's terms, but at the end of the finale, we found out what she really wants from these new arrangements. 'They all want to control me. But this puts me back in control,' she told Fiona. 'I'll let those men think that they own me, but I don't want to be a cartel associate. I don't want to be an informer. I want to take over Sin Cara.' Oh, Thony.
With that, I hand it over to you. How do you feel about where left things? And are you hoping the show comes back for Season 5 after that finale? Grade the episode in our poll below, then hit the comments with your full reactions.

Chris Pratt shares rare photos marking son Jack's milestone 13th birthday

Chris Pratt celebrated a milestone birthday with his oldest child. Pratt, 46, reveled in the fact that he now has a teenager at home as he honored his son Jack on his 13th birthday. The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star shared a rare gallery of fun times on social media Sunday to mark Jack's big day. Pratt and his ex-wife, Anna Faris, welcomed Jack in 2012 and have co-parented since their split in 2017. "I have a teenager???" Pratt wrote over a collection of images shared to his Instagram stories. "Jack, I can't believe you are 13 today. I've watched you grow into such an incredible young man, and am truly proud of the person you are becoming." Chris and Jack were pictured wearing matching Dodgers jerseys in one snap, before swapping sports and celebrating as Detroit Lions fans. Jack tried his hand at feeding a baby cow in another shot before finding a groove while welding. Pratt ended the shout-out with, "I love you! Jesus is King!" During a March appearance on "Fox & Friends," Pratt explained that his stance on faith changed when Jack was brought into this world. Back in 2012, Jack was born seven weeks early and only weighed 3 pounds, 10 ounces. Pratt recalled the life-altering moment in which he had to make "deals with God" to save his son. "The most impactful moment was when my son was born. He was born early and had some health scares, and in that moment, I really made some deals with God, as you do when you're praying, and I felt like if you save my son, I will give you everything." "I'll give you my life. I'll give you my platform. I won't be ashamed to talk to you or talk about you. And he did save my son, and I've been trying to make good on that promise ever since," Pratt said. Pratt and Faris were married for eight years before their divorce was finalized in 2018. The "Parks & Recreation" actor went on to marry Katherine Schwarzenegger in June 2019 after meeting at church. Schwarzenegger's mom, Maria Shriver, helped set up the pair, and they eventually wed during a ceremony held in Montecito, California. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Lyla, in August 2020. Their second daughter, Eloise, was born in May 2022, and the couple welcomed son Ford in November.
