China Reaffirms Support for Two-State Solution as Only Path to Mideast Peace
China's Foreign Ministry reaffirmed on Thursday that the two-state solution remains the only viable path to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East, particularly amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
In a statement, the Chinese Foreign Ministry underscored its commitment to promoting international pressure to secure an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. The ministry emphasized that peace and stability can only be restored through diplomatic efforts and mutual recognition between Israelis and Palestinians.
"China will continue to support efforts to halt the fighting in Gaza," the statement said, calling on the international community to uphold justice and encourage negotiations toward a peaceful resolution.
In a broader diplomatic message, Beijing also renewed its call for a peaceful resolution to the war in Ukraine through dialogue and diplomacy, urging all parties involved to prioritize negotiations over military confrontation.
China has consistently advocated for political solutions to global conflicts and positioned itself as a proponent of multilateral diplomacy in both the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Egypt, Italy discuss securing ceasefire in Gaza, Libya - Foreign Affairs
Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty discussed key regional developments in a phone call on Sunday with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, focusing on reaching a ceasefire in Libya and the Gaza Strip, as well as concerns related to the Horn of Africa and Egypt's water security. According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers asserted the need for simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya as a critical step toward restoring stability. They also stressed the importance of dismantling militias and the withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, describing this as the only viable path to ensuring long-term peace and preventing irregular migration across the Mediterranean. Additionally, FM Abdelatty reviewed Egypt's intensive diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid to starving Palestinians to alleviate their suffering amid Israel's ongoing genocidal war. For his part, the Italian foreign minister praised Egypt's relentless efforts to halt the war and ensure the unrestricted entry of humanitarian aid to Gaza's starving population. Tajani also expressed Italy's full support for the planned International Conference on the Early Recovery and Reconstruction of Gaza, which Egypt will host once a ceasefire is secured, confirming his country's participation in the conference. Both ministers also agreed to maintain close coordination to intensify international pressure for reaching a ceasefire and unfettered humanitarian aid access to Gaza. Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on the escalating tensions in the Horn of Africa. FM Abdelatty also highlighted Egypt's concerns regarding the Nile River and water security, reiterating Cairo's position on the need for adherence to international law governing shared water resources. He stressed the importance of cooperation based on consensus and mutual benefit to safeguard the interests of all Nile Basin countries. Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's rejection of unilateral actions that violate international law in the Eastern Nile Basin. He asserted that Cairo will take all the necessary measures, in line with international legal frameworks, to protect its vital water interests. Both ministers also underscored the importance of continued coordination between Egypt and Italy, particularly given the strong ties between the two countries' leaderships. Egypt Launches Train Service to Support Sudanese Voluntary Repatriation
H-Tayea Egypt has launched a dedicated train service to support the voluntary return of Sudanese citizens currently residing in the country. The train will depart from Ramses Station in Cairo, heading to Aswan, where further arrangements will be made to assist Sudanese nationals returning home. This humanitarian initiative is part of Egypt's ongoing support for the Sudanese people and the strong historical bond between the two nations of the Nile Valley. The Egyptian National Railways Authority has confirmed that a special, air-conditioned third-class train, Train No. 1940, will depart from Cairo on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM and arrive at the High Dam Station in Aswan by 11:40 PM. To ensure convenience and comfort, the train will include an additional luggage carriage specifically for passengers' personal belongings. The return journey for regular passengers will operate as Train No. 1945, departing Aswan on Tuesday, July 29, at 8:30 PM, and arriving in Cairo at 9:25 AM the following day. This effort was launched under the directives of Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, who instructed railway authorities to provide all necessary logistical and service support. The goal is to guarantee a safe, organized, and dignified journey for Sudanese citizens returning home. The Egyptian government emphasized that this is more than a transportation effort—it reflects deep solidarity with the Sudanese people during a time of hardship, and a continuation of Egypt's role as a regional partner offering real, on-the-ground support to neighboring nations in crisis. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language

Spanish traffic lights shout: "Stand against Israel and freedom for Gaza" (Video)
Amir Hagag Spain has continued its strong stance against Israel and its brutal crimes in Gaza. In an innovative move, traffic lights on the streets now oppose Israel and support Gaza. On one Spanish street, the red light displays "Stand against Israel" and the green light "Freedom for Gaza," in a powerful new gesture that brings Madrid's political stance to the heart of the street. This innovative move was part of a local initiative launched by pro-Palestinian groups in Spain, and sparked widespread controversy from the outset. It required a simple technology that integrates digital text into traffic light signs, but it carried a profound political weight, linking daily traffic to the international political scene. Some passersby took photos of the traffic lights and their political stance, prompting others to engage in conversation about the war on Gaza. As pedestrians crossed the street, a moral question came to mind: Can we continue to cross as if nothing is happening there? Undeterred and with full American support, Israel has continued its brutal crimes and genocide against the Palestinians since October 2023. The war has left more than 180,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons. Furthermore, famine has claimed the lives of many, including children, and widespread destruction has occurred. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language
