Viral Coldplay concert kiss cam HR executive just took out $1.6m mortgage with her husband

Daily Mail22-07-2025
The HR executive caught on camera cuddling with her boss at a Coldplay concert had recently taken out a massive $1.6million mortgage with her husband, it has emerged.
Kristin Cabot and her husband Andrew Cabot, an heir to the $15.4billion Cabot family fortune, purchased a $2.2million home on New Hampshire 's coast in March this year.
But the wealthy couple, referred to as husband and wife in state property records, did not outright pay for the 'fixer-upper', documents obtained by The Sun reveal.
The pair are both reportedly named on loan paperwork for the $1.6million mortgage taken out with Morgan Stanley.
Kristin, 52, and Andrew, 60, had planned to renovate the four-bed, two-bath classic New England residence, which is situated on 1.42 acres of land.
The property was sold 'as is' and, according to the newspaper, 'needs rehab'. It is unclear if the couple have hired contractors yet or even started renovations.
Andrew and his elite family have now faced a global scandal that's hit like a bolt from the blue after Kristin was caught on a kiss cam cozying up to her colleague Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert in Boston last week
The pair, who recoiled on seeing themselves on the big screen, met at AI startup Astronomer. Byron resigned as its CEO last week.
He is also married, to a woman called Megan, and they own a sprawling Massachusetts mansion.
Kristin and Andrew have not been seen in public since footage of their intimate moment with Byron at the concert went viral. It is unclear if they have since split.
Massachusetts property documents dated in January confirmed that Kristin is currently married to Andrew, CEO and COO of Privateer Rum.
It is unclear exactly when the pair tied the knot, but the documents confirm that Kristin, whose maiden name is Stanek, was married at the time of selling a $1.8 million property in Watertown, Massachusetts, earlier this year.
Public documents show that Andrew has been married at least twice before, in 1993 and 2014.
He shares two children with his first wife Maud, who posted a picture of her ex-husband with Kristin looking loved up at his daughters 25th birthday party on social media in April of last year.
Kristin even posed with his son Henry, 30, in the snaps, and was seen wearing a wedding ring at the event - which was missing during her cozy Coldplay outing with Byron.
Kristin and Andrew are also referred to as 'husband and wife' when they purchased their $2.2million two-story home in Rye, New Hampshire earlier this year.
As the home is currently under lien, they may have to sell the property if they are plan to move forward with a divorce or formal separation.
Both parties are responsible for mortgage payments regardless of who is physically residing in the home - which features high ceilings, a wrap-around porch, walk-up attic and two-car garage.
One party could buy the other out or refinance the loan to take on full responsibility.
Kristin and Andrew also sold another four-bedroom property nearby for $1.05million in February, after purchasing it in April of last year.
Andrew filed for divorce from his second wife Julie in 2018, after marrying in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. Both he and his first wife Maud filed for divorce jointly in 2013, after separating in 2011.
Kristin has been married once before, filing for divorce from Ken Thornby in 2018, which was finalized in 2020.
Andrew Cabot is a direct descendant of one of the original Boston Brahmin families.
The term 'Boston Brahmin' refers to the historic aristocracy in Boston, dating back to the the earliest English colonists. These ultra-wealthy families held significant social, political and cultural influence from the 18th century onward.
Andrew touts his family lineage on the Privateer Rum website, highlighting how he is the sixth-generation owner of the brand and a direct descender of its founder Andrew Cabot, whom he appears to have been named after.
The Cabot Family, which first made its fortune in soot, dates back at least 10 generations and is involved in a slew of businesses across New England, including rum production.
The family is one of the richest in Boston, with a fortune worth at least $15.4 billion today, and was considered untouchable for decades until their dynasty was underscored by the political rise of John F. Kennedy.
JFK defeated Henry Cabot Lodge Jr. in a senate race in 1952, paving the path for the Kennedys to establish themselves as American royalty.
But despite the Kennedys' rise to power, the Cabots are still so well-known in the Boston area that locals jokingly claim they 'speak only to God'.
The Cabots were thrust into controversy last week after Kristin was caught cuddling with Byron.
In the viral moment, the two were seen enjoying the show when the camera operator working the jumbotron panned to them.
Byron had his arms wrapped around Kristin and the pair swayed in unison as the British band played.
The intimate moment descended into chaos as panic set in, Byron seemingly fell to his knees while Kristin put her head in her hands as the crowd laughed.
After the clip of the two went viral, Astronomer issued a statement confirming that Byron has been placed on leave as they investigate the incident.
The Friday night statement said: 'Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave. We will share more details as appropriate in the coming days.'
Prior to the announcement that Byron was on leave, the company had announced that a formal investigation into the clip was underway.
Shortly after, Byron's wife Megan removed his last name from her social media accounts after the concert exchange went viral.
Kristin's now-deleted LinkedIn account showed that she has served as an 'advisory board member' at Privateer Rum since September 2020.

What Martha Stewart really thinks about Meghan Markle 'following in her footsteps' - as she questions Duchess' 'authenticity' but lavishes praise on Gwyneth Paltrow

Meghan Markle has been dubbed the 'new Martha Stewart ' after reinventing herself as a homemaker and influencer after leaving royal life. But Martha herself appears less convinced that the Duchess of Sussex could be her successor as the next Queen of Entertaining. 'I hope she knows what she's talking about', America's most trusted lifestyle expert has said, the Daily Mail can reveal today. Ms Stewart, 83, has been accused of taking a thinly-veiled swipe question Meghan's authenticity in a new interview about celebrities following in her footsteps. Meghan, 43, has launched her Netflix show With Love, Meghan and her As Ever brand this year, to mixed reviews. Ms Stewart said bluntly: 'Meghan, I don't really know very well. I hope she knows what she's talking about'. She added of the Duchess: 'Authenticity, to me, is everything, and to be authentic and knowledgeable about your subject matter is extremely important'. Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle shocked fans in March as they joined forces to shutdown ongoing speculation of 'feud' between them in a special Q&A where Meghan appeared in Paltrow's kitchen But Martha then lavished praise on Meghan and Harry's neighbour Gwyneth Paltrow, praising her 'very successful' career as an actress turned entrepreneur. Royal watchers claimed this was more shade thrown on the Duchess, with several claiming Ms Stewart was 'calling out' Meghan. Martha gushed in an interview with Yahoo Australia: 'Gwyneth has been very successful; she created quite an interesting body of businesses. She's admired. She won an Oscar for heaven's sake as an actress. She's pretty powerful.' Martha's comments emerged as Meghan Markle announced another product coming to her As Ever line. Gwyneth Paltrow and Meghan Markle joined forces in March an attempt to shut down rumours of a feud between them. The 52-year-old Oscar winner addressed the speculation during an Instagram Q&A after one of her 8.7million followers asked if she was 'comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?' Paltrow, filming in the kitchen of her sprawling home in the Montecito, replied: 'I genuinely do not understand this at all, whatsoever.' She then turned her head to ask someone off screen: 'Do you understand this?' She quickly panned her iPhone camera to her right to reveal Montecito neighbour Meghan sitting beside her at the counter, who playfully shrugged her shoulders, giggled and leaned back in her chair while eating a piece of pie. The joint appearance comes amid comparisons between the Duchess of Sussex's new Netflix show With Love, Meghan and lifestyle brand As Ever and Paltrow's Goop empire - sparking rumours of a potential feud. Paltrow had posted a video of herself preparing breakfast which were similar to scenes from the Netflix series. She used the song used in adverts for Meghan's series, This Will Be (An Everlasting Love) by Natalie Cole. The actress turned wellness guru, who founded her wellness company in 2008, has defended the duchess setting up a lifestyle brand, saying 'everybody deserves an attempt at everything that they want to try'. Meghan, 43, launched her lifestyle brand earlier this year, releasing the first products in April, which included a range of teas, a raspberry spread, and a limited-edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, amongst other things. She followed it up with an apricot spread and another honey, and in July, she expanded into the world of alcohol when she dropped her own wine - the 2023 Napa Valley Rosé. Each release has been met with fierce excitement from her fans, and every product has sold out pretty quickly. Now, the Duchess of Sussex 's brand has announced another batch of her Napa Valley wine, made in 2024 unlike the last bottles, which were from 2023 'It marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavour,' reads a press release. 'You'll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy. 'Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favorite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk.' In the release, As Ever listed some of the positive feedback customers had given the company over its first rosé, which included comments like, '10 out of 10,' 'perfect,' and 'elevated flavour.' 'This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast,' As Ever added. 'Thank you for filling our cup. Now it's time for us to fill your glass! We are pleased to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available for purchase next week.' The brand also posted to Instagram with a series of images showing the new wine resting in beach sand. It was uploaded alongside a caption that read: 'Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As Ever's beloved rosé is available next week. 'Stay tuned for more details and timing.' As Ever's first wine went on sale on July 1 and sold out within the hour. Customers were able to purchase three bottles for $90, six bottles for $159, and 12 bottles for $300. But the Daily Mail's insider at Netflix, her business partner, has said that Meghan's rosé, which promises to 'capture the essence of sun-drenched outdoor moments ', has not been a huge success and this was another 'nail in the coffin' for the $100million broadcast deal. 'The wine isn't selling', they said, adding: 'There's no great demand whatsoever'. Last month, Daily Mail exclusively revealed that the alcoholic beverage is made by Fairwinds Estate, a California winery that creates bespoke wines for celebrities. The 2023 Napa Valley Rosé is described on the bottle as a 'delicately balanced rosé with soft notes of stone fruit, gentle minerality, and a lasting finish.' It has a 14.5 percent alcohol by volume for the 750ML bottle. The Daily Mail FEMAIL team tried the rosé and while the wine was smooth, we couldn't easily detect the notes of stone fruit. In fact, it tasted quite bland, and almost water-y. In addition, the rosé had some acidic notes, leaving a somewhat uncomfortable sensation at the back of our throats after swallowing. In the end, the verdict was the wine lacked flavour and tasted affordable and ordinary. It wasn't terrible - but it certainly wasn't great. We felt the rosé just didn't taste like you bought it at a fancy vineyard, where it's supposed to be made, but rather, like a wine you would be served at a work happy hour. The FEMAIL team also reviewed her initial set of products, and found that Meghan's raspberry spread was too thin, too sweet, and very runny. Her hibiscus tea was extremely bitter with heavy notes of floral, with one taste tester comparing it to 'drinking lip balm.' 'It tasted like dirty dishwater,' another FEMAIL writer shared. Some of us couldn't even bear to swallow it, as one person even spat it back into the cup.

Hulk Hogan's estranged daughter will get nothing from his will, after she removed herself following their rift

Hulk Hogan's daughter won't inherit a dime from her late father's estate after their rift towards the end of his life. The WWE legend died at the age of 71 last week after a cardiac arrest. Brooke Hogan revealed on Tuesday that she 'had to step away to protect my heart' in the final two years of his life. And not only did she remove herself from his everyday life, she also removed herself from his will. The 37-year-old, who is married to former NHL player Steven Oleksy, feared being caught up in a bitter financial battle in the wake of her father's death, according to TMZ. Brooke reportedly didn't trust anyone in Hogan's inner circle and asked to be removed as a beneficiary of his estate in 2023 - the same year as her final conversation with the wrestling icon. The television personality's priority had always been to protect her famous father from those she felt were taking advantage of his fame and fortune. Brooke reportedly attempted to address the issue with her father but after years of it falling on deaf ears and disagreeing with him over the matter, she contacted his financial manager and made the decision to be excluded from the will. While she is said to be disheartened that Hogan didn't trust her to have his best interests at heart, she has never been motivated by his fortune. Hogan's estate is estimated to be worth $25million, but it has not been revealed who will inherit his estate, trademarks, intellectual property, and other assets. Brooke will reportedly still receive some money from a small life insurance trust Hogan took out, and she apparently intends to put the sum towards her children's college funds. She welcomed twins - a boy and a girl - with her husband in January. However, the late wrestler never met his grandchildren before his death, despite efforts by her husband to reconcile the estranged father and daughter. Hulk welcomed Brooke as well as son Nick, 35, with ex-wife Linda - whom he was married to from 1983 to 2009. He later tied the knot with Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 until their divorce in 2021. Two years later, the WWE legend said 'I do' to Sky Daily and the pair were married up until his death on Thursday. Brooke and her father last spoke nearly two years ago in September 2023 only weeks before he married his third wife Sky. On that call, Brooke expressed love and concern for her father - telling him that he shouldn't be working so hard due to his declining health. Despite her pleas for him to enjoy more of his life, those requests fell on deaf ears. The pair didn't speak again. Despite multiple attempts from her husband to fix their relationship, including when Brooke almost died in childbirth, Hulk 'responded coldly and never made an effort to meet Brooke's kids,' per TMZ. Back in March, Linda accused her former husband of being a 'complete liar' and 'sex addict'. She also claimed their family is 'in the worst mess' after Brooke cut both parents out of her life. Brooke later retaliated, hitting back at her mom by alleging that her dad was not the only reason behind the shocking family divide, claiming she was 'verbally and mentally abused' during her childhood. After Brooke's stunning response, Linda then took a dramatic U-turn by defending Hogan and branding her daughter a 'narcissist.' Brooke broke her silence on the family feud on Tuesday in the wake of her father's death, claiming that she and Hogan 'never fought' but rather she felt the need to step away to protect her own emotions. 'He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit,' she wrote in a statement shared to Instagram. 'I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me.' 'During the last two years, I had to step away to protect my heart. My husband stayed open, quietly reaching out to my dad without me knowing, trying to find a safe way back in for me. After my father passed, I read those messages, some answered, some ignored... but all of them broke my heart.' Even amid their estrangement, Brooke and her husband Steven found a touching way toR honor the wrestling icon. The couple included a sweet nod to Hogan in the name of one of their twins, it was revealed last week. Their daughter's full name is Molly Gene Oleksy - the same middle name as the late wrestler's. 'I know in my heart I did everything I could,' Brooke concluded. 'He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.' Oleksy, who had stints with NHL teams, the Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins, married Brooke in 2022. He also broke his silence on Tuesday, sharing a photo of the trio alongside a statement that read: 'My wife and I have not released any official statement about the death of my father-in-law. 'We are grieving and processing privately and ask for the respect to do so. If you see or hear something it did not come from us. There are many disturbing AI videos circulating that do not represent our family, feelings, or opinions. Thank you very much for the love, support, and understanding.'
