SuperBottoms announces 95% delivery success rate with Shipway integration
Sustainable baby and mother care label SuperBottoms has reported a 95% delivery success rate by partnering with Unicommerce-owned Shipway Technology Private Limited to enhance its logistics operations across metros and Tier 1 cities.
'Our customers place a lot of reliance on our commitment to make time-bound, error-free deliveries," said SuperBottoms' co-founder Pallavi Utagi in a press release. "Our partnership with Shipway has transformed our logistics operations, with higher delivery success rates and reduced RTOs."
The Shipway system uses data such as location, product type, packet size, and delivery timelines to assign the most suitable courier partner. Digitised order segregation and prompt processing further reduce delays, while the unified platform enables real-time visibility and control over order fulfilment.
'We are delighted to deliver high-impact outcomes for SuperBottoms as they expand their business and establish high customer service standards," said Shipway's chief business officer Saurabh Kumar Choudhary. SuperBottoms also uses Unicommerce's Uniware to manage orders from its own website, marketplaces like Meesho, and baby-focused platforms such as FirstCry. This integration supports order processing, inventory management, and reduced manual errors as demand for baby care products rises across India.
Founded by Pallavi Utagi in 2018, SuperBottoms promotes 'guilt-free diapering' through reusable cloth diapers. With timely delivery crucial for its customer base, the brand implemented Shipway's logistics management platform to improve courier partner selection and delivery reliability.

Google says to appeal online search antitrust ruling
"We will wait for the Court's opinion. And we still strongly believe the Court's original decision was wrong, and look forward to our eventual appeal," the tech giant wrote on X. Google was found guilty in the summer of 2024 of illegal practices to establish and maintain its monopoly in online search by a federal judge in Washington. The Justice Department is now demanding remedies that could transform the digital landscape: Google's divestiture from its Chrome browser and a ban on entering exclusivity agreements with smartphone manufacturers to install the search engine by default. It is also asking that the California-based company be forced to share the data used to produce search results on Chrome. The department's proposal "reserves the right for the government to decide who gets Google users' data. Not the Court," Google said Saturday. "While we heard a lot about how the remedies would help various well-funded competitors (w/ repeated references to Bing), we heard very little about how all this helps consumers," Google added, referring to the Microsoft-owned search engine. The firm has proposed much more limited measures, including giving phone manufacturers the possibility to pre-install its Google Play app store but not Chrome or the search engine. The Friday hearing devoted to arguments marked the end of the trial to determine Google's penalty. The judge's decision is expected by August.

Panama launches maintenance work at contested mine
Central America's biggest copper mine, the Canadian-owned Cobre Panama pit, closed in 2023 following weeks of crippling protests over its environmental impact. Maintenance will be carried out by a subsidiary of Canada's First Quantum Minerals "to prevent environmental damage" from materials stored at the mine, Trade and Industry Minister Julio Molto told a news conference. "This decision (...) does not imply the reactivation of the mine," Molto said. First Quantum Minerals said it would finance the work by exporting 121,000 tonnes of copper concentrate stored at the site since it closed down. Panama's President Jose Raul Mulino said last month that his government was working toward reopening the mine, without clarifying how he plans to tackle legal hurdles. The country's Supreme Court ruled in November 2023 that a contract allowing First Quantum Minerals to continue operating the site was unconstitutional. Environmentalist Raisa Banfield criticized Friday's announcement as the Canadian giant "can't manage the mine." She called for an external audit to "establish the definitive closure plan." Cobre Panama, which began operations in 2019, had produced about 300,000 tonnes of copper concentrate a year, representing 75 percent of the country's exports and about five percent of its national economic output. It employed around 37,000 workers directly and indirectly.

Champion teams up with UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall
U.S. sporting apparel brand Champion announced on Thursday a new partnership with UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall, with the pair collaborating on new apparel collection and accompanying campaign. Dubbed "Heavyweight Champion", the new collection is made up of performance-ready garments with contemporary lifestyle designs, fabricated in heavyweight fabrics and tonal palettes. Key pieces include a Reverse Weave hoodie and a monochrome bomber jacket stamped with "Heavyweight" across the back. Each piece is also marked by a "00.02.02" timestamp —a nod to the average duration of Aspinall's professional fights. 'I'm thrilled to be partnering with Champion, a brand with global reach and deep roots in sport,' said Aspinall. 'Champion's values really reflect who I am and what I want to do in MMA. I've always said I believe I can transcend the sport into the mainstream. And we're not just creating gear - we're making apparel that works for fighters and inspires the next generation. In addition to the lifestyle drop, a collaborative performance training apparel and equipment line between Authentic-owned Champion and Aspinall is also due to launch later this year. 'We're incredibly excited to announce our long-term partnership with Tom and Team Aspinall. Champion has a proud heritage that stretches back generations, and in Tom, we've found not only an elite athlete at the top of his game, but a truly exceptional human being.' said Lorenzo Moretti, Champion EMEA president. 'His values, professionalism, and ability to inspire those around him perfectly reflect what Champion stands for. We've been thoroughly impressed by Tom and his team from day one, and we look forward to working closely together to shape the future of combat product for Champion — developing next-generation training apparel and equipment informed by the insights of the best athletes in the sport.' In December last year, parent Authentic announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with L'Amy America for the manufacturing and distribution of Champion eyewear.
