SRK Bought Jackets For Adnan Sami In Freezing Venice: ‘I Was Jet-Lagged; Wearing Hawaiian Shirts'
Shah Rukh Khan's generosity and warmth have left yet another celebrity touched. This time, singer Adnan Sami opened up about a heartfelt gesture by the superstar during a shoot in Venice. In a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sami recalled how Shah Rukh went shopping for him after noticing he didn't have warm clothes during a surprise cold spell.
'We were shooting in Venice. It was summers. I used to wear Hawaiian shirts and nothing else," Adnan shared, explaining how the team had come prepared for pleasant weather. However, Venice had other plans. 'Out of nowhere, Venice decided to go on a massive cold spell. It suddenly started raining. The weather went for a complete toss."
Describing the sudden drop in temperature and strong winds caused by the city's tunnel-like effect, Adnan said he was still in his summer outfit of Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts. Seeing this, Shah Rukh grew concerned. 'When SRK saw me, he was like, 'Oh My God, you are going to catch cold,'" Sami said.
At the time, Shah Rukh Khan was not just a co-star but also the producer of the ad shoot. Despite being busy himself, SRK noticed Adnan's discomfort and stepped in. 'I was tired from all the travel and ready to crash. He asked, 'I hope you have something warm.' I said no. Later, I dozed off due to jetlag," Adnan recalled.
What happened next left the singer deeply moved. 'He was so sweet that he simply went and bought a whole bunch of jackets. Hats off to him that he was able to get something of my size. This was very touching and thoughtful," Adnan said.
This isn't the first time Sami has spoken about this incident. Two years ago, he had shared a similar anecdote, recalling how Shah Rukh showed up at his door with sweaters and said, 'It's very cold outside. I got you some sweaters."
Adnan Sami said the gesture may have been small to some, but to him, it spoke volumes. 'He didn't have to do it. But he did. It speaks a lot about the person," he concluded.

Song Young-Kyu Found Dead In Vehicle Days After Driving Under Influence Controversy
Veteran South Korean actor Song Young-Kyu, 55, was found dead a week after a DUI scandal. Yongin Eastern Police Station in Gyeonggi-do is investigating the case. Veteran South Korean actor Song Young-Kyu has been found dead just days after he was embroiled in a driving under the influence (DUI) controversy that had begun affecting his career. He was 55 years old. According to media reports, Song was discovered unconscious inside a parked vehicle at a townhouse complex in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, around 8:00 AM on Sunday. The Yongin Eastern Police Station has launched an investigation into the circumstances of his death. Authorities were reportedly alerted by an acquaintance who found him in the vehicle. A source quoted by Koreaboo said, 'He was distressed by the malicious articles and comments, and the circumstances were extremely unfavorable at that time." Just over a week before his death, Song had been booked without detention for driving under the influence. The incident occurred on June 19 in Yongin, after Song had reportedly consumed alcohol with acquaintances and attempted to drive home. His blood alcohol content was said to be over 0.08 per cent, leading to the revocation of his driver's license. The incident came to light after a local resident reported it to the police. Song chose not to issue a public statement about the matter. The backlash was swift. Song was removed from the stage play Shakespeare In Love following the incident. In South Korea, where public figures are held to high standards, such infractions often have serious professional consequences. At the time of the scandal, Song was appearing as Pastor Yoon Se Hoon in ENA's Monday–Tuesday drama Eye Shopping, and had also filmed for The Defects. In response to the controversy, the production team behind The Defects stated that they would minimise his screen time in the final edit. 'Since it is a pre-produced drama, filming has been completed, and it seems that editing will be kept to a minimum so as not to affect the flow of the plot or the viewer's perception of the plot," they told OSEN on July 25. Song began his acting career in 1994 with the children's musical Wizard Mureul. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of death.
