This world-famous race always attracts a stellar field, and this is arguably the best-ever, with all four of the Olympic and Paralympic reigning champions competing, the women's world record holder Ruth Chepng'etich, debuts for Eilish McColgan and double Olympic triathlon gold medallist Alex Yee and the return of record four-time winner Eliud Kipchoge.

Gabby Logan is presenting live coverage as 57,000 participants take on the iconic course. Commentary is from Andrew Cotter, Steve Cram, Paula Radcliffe and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, while Abby Cook, JJ Chalmers, Jeanette Kwakye and Sarah Mulkerrins will all be reporting from the 26.2-mile route.

A security video from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport shows Richardson angrily confronting her partner, the American sprinter Christian Coleman, and shoving him into a wall. Coleman was seen attempting to diffuse the situation by walking away from Richardson throughout the video, however, he was pushed and shoved on multiple occasions. Richardson, who won a silver mdeal in the 100m and gold in the 4x100m relay at the Olympics in Paris last year, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault. According to the Port of Seattle Police, Richardson told officers that the argument began because Coleman had taken her headphones. 'Richardson advised she did not assault him in any way and the dispute was only a verbal argument,' police documents said. Coleman, however, has since insisted that Richardson should not have been arrested and described them both as 'two dominant personalities'. 'For me personally, I feel like it was a sucky situation all round,' said Coleman, who declined to press charges against Richardson. 'I don't feel like she should have been arrested. 'I mean people have discussions and emotions and stuff like that. She has things that she needs to work on for herself of course. So do I, so do you, so does everybody. 'But I'm the type of guy who's in the business of extending grace, and mercy and love. To me, she's the best female athlete in the world. 'She's just had a lot of things going on, lot of emotions and forces going on inside of her that not only I can't understand, but nobody can. The One Show's Alex Jones confesses parents 'critique' show after every episode
The One Show host has admitted that her parents call her after every episode to give their feedback of her presenting skills or her outfit of choice Alex Jones' parents ring her after each episode of The One Show to critique her performance. Despite the 48-year-old star having chalked up 15 years of experience fronting the BBC One magazine programme, her mum Mary and dad Alun always find a fault - be it Alex needing more makeup or the colour of their daughter's dresses not suiting her. She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Every night. And they won't always have a comment on the show. I mean, Dad, to be fair, doesn't get a word in because there's always Mum, but she'll say things like, 'Yeah, I just thought you needed a bit more blusher tonight.' Thank you for that. "Or she'll say, 'That colour is not very you.' And I'm like, 'OK, well, three million people were watching, so that's good!' But actually, it's so lovely that they care." It comes after a Strictly Come Dancing star pulls out of show as he makes career announcement. Despite Mary and Alun being "picky" about how Alex performed in each episode of The One Show, they more often than not praise their daughter. The TV presenter added: "Sometimes you can feel when it's been a really good show, and nine times out of 10, they reflect that. "They go, 'Oh, that was a good show, wasn't it?'" Alex joked that she knows if a show went well if her parents say an episode was "good". The star continued: "But they're very picky, so if we get a 'that was a good show' from Mary and Alun, we know we're doing something right." And Alex's dad was thrilled that she and her former The One Show co-host Chris Evans, 59, interviewed The Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger, 82, Keith Richards, 81, the late Charlie Watts, and Ronnie Wood, 78, for a special episode in November 2012. She recalled: "I remember way back in the early days, Mum and Dad had rung one night, as they do every night after the show, and they went, 'What are you doing tomorrow then?' "I said, 'Well, the show's a bit different tomorrow. I think we're going to do a special on The Rolling Stones.' "I didn't know... I mean, I knew their names, I knew there were four of them. "My dad nearly collapsed. He was like, 'Sorry, what?' Put her on loudspeaker, Mary. What's she saying?'" Alex joined The One Show in 2010 and co-hosted alongside Jason Manford, 44. She then went on to present the programme with Matt Baker, 47, from 2010 until 2020, and Jermaine Jenas, 42, from 2020 until 2024. Alex now fronts The One Show with Roman Kemp, 32, Vernon Kay, 51, JB Gill, 38, Clara Amfo, 41, and Lauren Laverne, 47.

Gary Lineker ‘can't wait' to host new ITV show The Box after BBC exit
The former footballer, 64, who left the BBC One sports show in May, said he was excited and 'can't wait' to host The Box. In the show, 10 yellow boxes house a celebrity contestant who will be transported to unknown locations, before being released to face whatever game awaits on the other side of the door. Each week two players will face The Duel, a finale in which the loser leaves the competition for good. Lineker, who had presented Match Of The Day since 1999, said an emotional goodbye in an early departure from the broadcaster on May 26. It followed a social media row after he shared a post about Zionism, which featured a depiction of a rat, historically an antisemitic insult. Lineker, who was the BBC's highest-paid presenter, issued an unreserved apology for the social media video he shared, which led to his early exit from the BBC. Lineker was due to host BBC Sport's coverage of the FA Cup in the 2025-26 season. Lineker said: 'I can't wait to host The Box. I've always felt right at home in the box on a football pitch and whilst this is a different proposition, the fundamentals are similar. 'The contestants will have to quickly and masterfully work out how each game works, whilst also trying to get ahead of the competition to take control. 'It's going to be unpredictable and thrilling to watch, and I'm excited that I get to have a front row seat to all the action.' Katie Rawcliffe, director of entertainment, reality and daytime commissioning at ITV, said: 'Gary is the perfect fit for The Box, an entertaining, exhilarating and immersive new format.' Dan Adamson, chief content officer at production company Twofour, added: 'We're delighted to be making The Box with ITV and Seefood TV. 'From the first time we saw those iconic yellow boxes open in an incredible location we were hooked. Now, with Gary on board, we have the ideal master of ceremonies to make this real event telly, he is after all a man who knows what it's like under pressure in the box. 'He's sure to raise the competitive spirit as our cast bursts out of those boxes, into unknown, ambitious and spectacular challenges.' The Box was first launched on TV2 in Norway in January this year. ITV's version of the show will be filmed in the UK later this year and air in 2026. Lineker also co-hosts The Rest Is Football podcast, which moved to internet sports streaming platform DAZN after he left the BBC.
