Hollywood icons Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson sparked dating rumours after co-starring in the upcoming action comedy The Naked Gun. With red carpet appearances and flirtatious interview scenes, the pair has been making the fans even more curious about their relationship status.
According to a report by PEOPLE, an insider claimed that the two stars are indeed dating. 'It's a budding romance in the early stages. It's sincere, and it's clear. They are smitten with each other," the source stated. He further added that the 73-year-old Liam and 58-year-old Pamela are currently 'enjoying each other's company." The rumours started swirling in as the actors began promoting their upcoming film. Previously, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the pair was spotted almost kissing in mid-conversation.

At The Naked Gun premiere in New York City, the pair brought their children to the red carpet for a family photo moment, further heightening the romance speculations. Liam was seen showing up with Micheal and Daniel, his sons aged 30 and 28, respectively, while Pamela brought Brandon and Dylan, aged 29 and 27, to the red carpet.
What Was Liam Neeson's Response?
On July 29, during an interview with Today, the host directly asked the stars about their relationship status. 'What's the deal here? You're both single, there's chemistry…are you two an item?" the host asked, to which Pamela tried to downplay the situation, pretending she didn't understand. However, on the other hand, Liam gave a vague answer. 'I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely, budding chemistry—as two actors, it's like, 'Oh, this is nice. Let's not mull this; let's just let it breathe.' And that's what we did," Liam stated, not addressing the question directly. The host further teased the question, saying, 'America's here for it…the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship." To which Liam responded, saying they both found a silly bone in each other. 'It was great to be with this lady, seriously. Every day was a joy."
It was not the first time Liam gushed about his co-star. Previously, during an interview with PEOPLE, he stated he was 'madly in love" with Pamela as a co-star. Pamela was seen returning the compliments, calling Liam 'a perfect gentleman."

Directed by Akiva Schaffer, The Naked Gun serves as a legacy sequel to Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult and the fourth film of The Naked Gun franchise. Besides Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, the film stars Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, and Danny Huston in prominent roles. The film will hit the theatres on August 1.
