Man charged with killing 13-year-old cyclist by dangerous driving in 2023
The teenage boy died at the scene from his injuries.
James Durham, 54, of Goodwin Road, Mundesley, has now been charged with causing death by dangerous driving in connection with the incident, Norfolk Police said on Monday.

A man in his 50s was previously arrested and taken into custody on the day of the incident on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision, before being released under investigation, the force said.
A GoFundMe page set up by Alfie's family for his funeral raised more than £15,000.
His auntie, Emma Brown, said the 'beautiful and brilliant' boy was the victim of a hit-and-run while cycling home from his friend's house, and that the driver 'did not stop nor attempt to stop'.
In a tribute, she said: 'Alfie was an adventurous, intelligent, beautiful boy with his whole life ahead of him. Life will never be the same without him and he will always be in our hearts.
'Alfie loved riding his bike, playing the guitar and learning new things.'
Durham will appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on August 1.

Motorcyclist, 50s, dies following Hevingham collision
A motorcyclist has died following a collision which left a road closed for more than seven hours. Norfolk Police said it was called to the A140 Cromer Road in Hevingham when a black Vauxhall Astra collided with a white and black Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 motorbike at about 14:10 BST on force said the road was closed while emergency services, including the ambulance and air ambulance, attended the site and the road reopened at about 21:20. Glasgow man stealing from cars spat and told cops he had HIV
James Corr, 27, was spotted in a Ford Ranger outside a property in Glasgow's Sandyhills on April 21 2024. Corr was chased by police before he became aggressive and caused spit to land on the bodies of two officers. Corr, of the city's Barlanark, later claimed that he was HIV positive. The incident took place four years after Corr was jailed for 16 months for an assault and robbery of a man over £20. Corr and two unknown men pounced on Zenon Sergeil, 59, in Glasgow's Easterhouse area in January 2020. The victim had his wallet taken with the Polish-national suffering several injuries including a fractured eye socket. Mr Sergeil spent 12 days in hospital following the ordeal. Corr pleaded guilty to his two latest charges of theft and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner. The court heard that Corr was found in the drivers seat of a Ford Ranger. A witness was alerted to Corr as the headlights flashed on and off. Corr rummaged around the vehicle and looking for items within. He made off with a set of keys, a remote control and cash. Police were called and officers found Corr still in the vehicle. Corr fled the scene but was later apprehended. He acted aggressively towards the officers. Prosecutor Heather Naismith said: "He repeatedly spat and it landed on the ground and the legs of a police officer." Corr went on to shout with droplets of saliva landing on one of the officer's faces. He later told officers that he had HIV. The owner later entered the car and found items strewn within. Corr had made off with a bag and its contents as well as a set of keys. Bob McDowall, defending, told the court: "This was disgraceful, bizarre behaviour. "He brought attention upon himself and he has reiterated his sincere apologies." Sheriff Joan Kerr stated when jailing Corr that he committed "reprehensible, disgusting behaviour."

A GoFundMe page was set up by his family raise money for a reward and resources for the search. It has a target of $15,000 and has already reached $23,606 in donations. The initial message on the page read: "Giovanni is smart, kind, and full of life. He didn't deserve this. Our family is devastated, terrified, and doing everything in our power to bring him home." The most recent update on the GoFundMe page was shared yesterday by his mum gave a heartbreaking update on the search. Bridgette's message reads: "My son was recently found after a desperate search by our family alone, and we are still facing an active investigation into his death. I am living every parent's worst nightmare, trying to find the strength to give him the goodbye he deserves. Any funds raised now will provide crucial support to cover funeral, medical, and legal costs as we struggle to honour his memory through this unimaginable heartbreak."
