Hrithik Roshan talks social media detox; says ‘Something in me switched' after break

What started as a short break became something more impactful. 'Something in me switched,' Hrithik said, reflecting on how unplugging helped him discover just how much time he actually had, and how valuable boredom and stillness can be.
'Try it for a week', says Hrithik
'I understood the perils of constantly being online,' Hrithik said. 'I became more aware of how much time I actually have, and what it feels like to just be bored, to simply exist. It was enlightening.'
Urging others to try a social media detox for at least a week, Hrithik believes it offers clarity that's hard to find when constantly plugged in. His words come at a time when digital overwhelm is becoming more common, even among celebrities.
His short but impactful break offered a fresh lens on self-awareness, time, and balance.
Back online, with 'War 2' buzz
Now back on Instagram, Hrithik is making waves again, this time with the first track from 'War 2', 'Aavan Jaavan'. He even shared a fun video of his mother, Pinkie Roshan, dancing to the hook step. 'You know the song is a chartbuster when your mom spends a day learning the hook and looks a million bucks doing it!' he wrote lovingly. Sharing a video of the recipe, the woman wrote in the caption, "Marry Me Lentils, perfect mix between a cozy stew/soup! I'm obsessed with the marry me flavours - a creamy sun-dried tomato sauce with basil, lemon, and cheese. The nutty lentils work so perfectly with the other ingredients, served with crusty sourdough" Named Yasmin, the woman has an Instagram account "By The Forkful" where she shares vegetarian recipes and enjoys a following of 54.8K. Due to the recipe and its resemblance to the Indian dish, her reel has gone viral on social media and has garnered over 15,922 likes and 2,281 comments. What was the woman's recipe? In a pan, she added veggies such as onion, garlic and sun-dried tomato sauce along with spices such as smoked paprika.
