Zimbabwean attacker to Orlando Pirates?

Once upon a time, Orlando Pirates had a young Zimbabwean trialist in 2023. His name was Prince Ndlovu, aged 16.
The Highlanders FC attacker's assessment at Orlando Pirates was disrupted by an opportunity for the youngster to move to Europe. Unfortunately for Ndlovu, that prospect did not work out.
Fast forward to 2025, and Ndlovu is an established professional in the Zimbabwean Premier League.

According to Soccer Laduma, the Sea Robbers are set to watch Ndlovu play for Zimbabwe in the Cosafa Cup. The tournament will kick off in Bloemfontein on Wednesday, 4 June.
'He trained with Pirates in March 2023 and and at that time he was only 16-years-old. He was preparing to go to Europe but things didn't work out. It's believed that since then Pirates scouts have apparently been monitoring him and now they are willing to give him a chance at the team. They have kept tabs on him and they are impressed by his progress at Highlanders FC in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe,' a source told Soccer Laduma. Legend names his Orlando Pirates Player of the Season
'Orlando Pirates will have the chance to continue monitoring him when he plays for the Zimbabwe national team at the COSAFA Cup. Yes, it's believed that the scouts and recruiters are happy and this will give them a first-hand chance to see him in action before they could finalise anything,' the source added.

Feinberg-Mngomezulu named SA's URC Player of the Season

Springbok and Stormers utility back Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu added to his SA Rugby Young Player of the Year award for 2024 by being crowned South Africa's United Rugby Championship Player of the Season for 2024-25. Feinberg-Mngomezulu is one of four South African players who won URC awards this season, with Cameron Hanekom, Deon Fourie, and Ruben van Heerden also featuring among the winners. The Sharks were also rewarded for their innovative approach to the match-day experience. The talented 23-year-old went up against two of his Springbok teammates, the Bulls' duo of Hanekom and Wilco Louw, for the prestigious South African award. His sublime form for the Stormers, in which he dictated play with class and played a major role in the team's goal-kicking, saw him grab the title. Feinberg-Mngomezulu follows in the footsteps of former Lions utility back Sanele Nohamba — now plying his trade in Japan — and Stormers teammates Evan Roos and Manie Libbok, who won the award in the last three seasons.

All you need to know about Orlando Pirates target Masindi Nemtajela

Orlando Pirates have reportedly sealed a deal for Marumo Gallants midfielder Masindi Nemtajela. Why is he so coveted? Orlando Pirates have moved quickly to secure a replacement for the departed Miguel Timm. 23-year-old Masindi 'Confidence' Nemtajela is the man. The all-action schemer made 17 appearances for Gallants in the league last season, scoring once, supplying two assists and picking up four bookings. With Makhehleni Makhaula having signed a one-year contract extension, a move for Nemtajela is a proactive long-term solution for when Makhaula leaves the club. 'Do not touch Orlando Pirates king Hotto' Pirates were in Spain for the European summer last year. This time around, they're reportedly heading to Germany. 'What I know is that the club is believed to be changing their pre-season training camp from Spain to Germany. For now, almost all the logistics for the trip to Germany are as good as done. All the involved parties are believed to have agreed on this pre-season camp in Germany.' 'At that time (of the tour), they are believed to have the new coach in, when they are going to Germany. They want to use that time to build a bond between the new coach, the technical team, and the players to get ready for next season,' a second source told Soccer Laduma.
