And that warmer weather will be accompanied by some dry spells across the country with "sunny spells" breaking through.
Cathal Nolan of Ireland's Weather Channel revealed "much warmer weather on the way" with those sunny spells "likely".
He explained: "The good news is it looks like we will see our temperatures certainly being on the rise over the course of the weekend.
"High pressure looks to build close enough by that is going to keep the Atlantic rain bearing fronts at bay for the majority of the country."

But the meteorologist added: "There could still be some outbreaks of rain pushing up along parts of the northwest and the north coast, but elsewhere across the midlands and the southeast, generally speaking it's a dry picture."

Ireland weather maps turn blood red as expert teases 'pretty good weather' hunch

If you thought Ireland's 2025 summer had been and gone, it could be time to think again. The weather conditions across Ireland over the last few weeks have been relatively typical of this time of year. We have had plenty of dry and warm weather but we just haven't managed a stretch of days of balmy sunshine like we did back in May and June. The Irish weather is as predictable as leprechaun after five double espressos but one expert is teasing the possibility of "pretty good weather" next week. Ireland weather expert, Alan O'Reilly, who runs Carlow Weather on X, was cautiously optimistic on Saturday morning and said there could be good news on the horizon for the tens of thousands of people attending Oasis at Croke Park on August 16 and 17. "A big weekend ahead next weekend with The Tullow Show and Oasis gigs and the weather models looking positive at moment for pretty good weather but a little early to call yet so stay tuned over the next few days," said Alan. Meanwhile, updated weather maps turned a blood red over Ireland for Monday and Tuesday of next week. The new maps, published by denote the two metre temperature anomaly, and according to Met Eireann, Monday and Tuesday will feel "humid, warm and dry" across the country. Overview: A humid and warm start to the week. Dry and sunny on Monday but heavy showers or thunderstorms will affect some areas from Tuesday. Sunday night: Rain will gradually clear from northern areas on Sunday night but it'll stay quite cloudy. Other areas will be dry with clear spells. Patches of mist and fog will form in light southerly or variable winds. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 13°C to 15°C. Monday: Mist and fog will clear on Monday morning, leaving a dry, warm and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 21°C to 24°C with light south to southeast winds. Monday night: A few showers will develop on Monday night but most places will stay dry with clear spells. Winds will be light and variable and patches of mist and fog may form. Mild and humid again with temperatures not falling below 12°C to 15°C. Tuesday: Many parts of the country will have another dry, warm and sunny day on Tuesday. However, heavy showers or thunderstorms are likely to develop in some areas. Highest temperatures of 21°C to 25°C with light winds. Tuesday night: A mix of clear spells and scattered heavy showers or thunderstorms. Mild and humid with temperatures not falling below 13°C to 15°C. Winds will be light and variable. Wednesday: There is some uncertainty in the forecast for Wednesday, but more heavy and thundery showers are possible, with temperatures getting into the high teens or low twenties again.
