The latest episode of WWE Raw saw Seth Rollins take on Finn Balor and Sami Zayn in a triple-threat match to determine the next person to qualify for the Money in the Bank match at the Premium Live Event of the same name. The three stars exceeded expectations and left the audience asking for more. Sami and 'The Price' came within touching distance of securing a win at several points but could not get the job done. Seth Rollins needed the win to cement his faction's standing
Seth Rollins' association with Paul Heyman has essentially established him as the top heel on Raw. The alliance, which also includes Bronson Reed, recently received a boost when Bronson Reed joined forces with the veteran manager.

The powerhouse helped the former Shield member and 'The Badass' beat CM Punk and Sami Zayn at Saturday Night's Main Event. Seth Rollins' big win tonight played a prominent role in helping the fast-rising faction retain its momentum. The group would have lost its mojo had 'The Architect' failed to beat Finn Balor and Sami Zayn on the red brand.
It furthered the tensions between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio
The closing moments of the contest saw Dominik Mysterio push a chair towards his The Judgement Day stablemate. However, he did a poor job of it, and Finn had to crawl towards the chair to pick it up. This gave Seth Rollins the opportunity to nail the Irish star with a curb-stomp and get the win. The finish essentially widened the rift between The Judgement Day while helping Rollins potentially re-enter the World Heavyweight title picture.
Sami Zayn was protected
The finish did a good job of protecting Sami Zayn, who has been receiving a mini-push of late. The Canadian star did not get pinned, which prevented him from being buried. Additionally, it it furthered his tensions with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, indicating that he will be a thorn in the side of the heels going forward. Additionally, it also furthered his friendship with Jey Uso as the 'Yeet Master' came to his rescue when he got outnumbered.

New Delhi: Former South Africa batter AB de Villiers praised Punjab Kings' captain Shreyas Iyer's heroic knock against Mumbai Indians to guide the side to their second IPL final. Iyer's swashbuckling 41-ball 87 not out was studded with eight sixes and five fours in the vital chase of 204 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Monday. With the win, Punjab Kings have set up a summit clash with Royal Challengers Bengaluru on June 3 as the tournament will get its new winner after 2022, when debutant Gujarat Titans lifted the title under the leadership of Hardik Pandya. Iyer's knock was full of maturity and calmness as he built a crucial 84-run stand with Nehal Wadhera and kept the momentum going for PBKS despite losing wickets of Josh Inglis and Wadhera during the chase. "I'm obviously a huge fan. What happened in the game was out of this world, and Shreyas deserves full credit. Under extreme pressure, he delivered when it mattered,' De Villiers said on JioStar. "That four off Bumrah past the slip cordon — for me, that was the shot of the night. His sixes were clean, no mishits. He stays calm, doesn't get arrogant or overly emotional — just very level-headed. There are many more runs in him," he added. Former India head coach Sanjay Bangar also heaped praise on Iyer's match-winning knock saying it was a fabulous effort from the right-handed batter. "There's so much to appreciate about Shreyas Iyer's overall approach. Punjab Kings stand in the way of Virat Kohli's dream of finally winning the Indian Premier League in Tuesday's final at the world's biggest cricket stadium. No matter which team prevails at the 132,000-capacity venue in Ahmedabad it will be a first -- neither Punjab nor Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru have won the IPL since it launched in 2008. Punjab booked their place in the decider with a five-wicket victory over five-time champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday. Shreyas Iyer played a captain's knock with an unbeaten 87. Kohli and Bengaluru will have a psychological edge after thrashing Punjab by eight wickets at the start of the playoffs last week. It is the fourth time that Kohli and his team have reached the final of cricket's richest tournament, but they have never been able to take that last step. The vast majority in attendance will be cheering on Kohli, the 36-year-old superstar batsman and icon to Indian cricket fans. Kohli, who last month retired from Test cricket alongside Rohit Sharma, has again been Bengaluru's go-to batsman with 614 runs, including eight half-centuries, in 14 innings this season.
