The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is once again in focus. After the consecration of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2024, the temple is now preparing for the installation of Rajaram on its first floor. A three-day Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony will be held from June 3 to June 5.
Entry Restrictions
In view of the upcoming Pran Pratishtha, the Ram Mandir Trust has issued updated entry guidelines. On June 5, no special passes—including Vishisht and Sugam Darshan passes—will be valid. Devotees will not be allowed entry into the temple premises that day.
The installation of Ram Darbar will be led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The presence of VIPs and VVIPs has prompted these restrictions for crowd control and security purposes.
Rituals and Celebrations
The three-day ceremony will include consecration rituals not only for the Ram Darbar but also for smaller temples built along the temple's ramparts. Devotees unable to attend in person will be able to view the ceremonies online.
Preparations in Full Swing
Preparations for the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav are nearing completion. A group of 101 Vedic scholars from across India will lead the rituals. In the lead-up to the main event, a traditional Kalash Yatra will be carried out by women, starting from Saryu Ghat and ending at the temple.

Devotees to have access to entire 70-acre Ram temple complex after Oct
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust is planning to permit devotees to roam around the entire 70-acre complex of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya after October this year. As of now, devotees are allowed to pay obeisance to Ram Lalla in the main temple complex only and thereafter they have to leave the Ram Janmabhoomi campus. It will take around three to four hours for a pilgrim to visit other temples spread around the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Construction work of the main Ram temple is over and now the remaining 14 temples are in the final stages of completion. According to Anil Mishra, a member of the Trust, devotees would be able to visit the entire Ram Janmabhoomi campus after October this year. 'Around 90 percent work of remaining temples spread across the Ram Janmabhoomi is complete,' he added. Out of four entry gates in Ram temple, construction work of two is over. Construction work of the temple is almost complete with Ram Lalla installed on the ground floor and his family on the first floor in Ram Darbar. The second floor will house rare and significant scriptures related to Lord Ram, said Trust general secretary Champat Rai. According to the Trust, a flag-hoisting ceremony is likely to take place at the Ram temple in November. The flag will be hoisted atop the 161-foot-high spire of the temple. Flags will be hoisted on the spires of all other temples within the complex. Pushkarni and Panchavati The Ram temple complex will encompass several notable features including: Pushkarni: A sacred water tank, centrally located within the Saptarishi (seven sages) area. Panchavati: A natural area that will be preserved in its original state, allowing animals and birds to benefit from the surroundings. Saptarishi Mandap The Ram Janmabhoomi complex has a Saptarishi Mandap which comprises seven temples dedicated to sages from the Ramayana. These temples house idols of seers and devotees who played significant roles in Lord Rama's life. They include Maharishi Valmiki, Maharishi Vishwamitra, Maharishi Agastya, Maharishi Vashistha, Nishad Raj, Ahilya and Shabari. Other temples in Ram Janmabhoomi In addition to the Saptarishi temples, six other temples dedicated to various deities are under construction on the Ram Janmabhoomi campus. They are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sun God, Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, Goddess Bhagwati and Goddess Annapurna. An idol of Lakshman, in his Sheshavatar form, will also be consecrated in the Sheshavatar Temple.

J-K: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board dedicates 5 Temples to public in Reasi
Katra (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], July 13 (ANI): In an initiative aimed at fostering spirituality and preserving cultural heritage, the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, during its 75th Meeting held under the chairmanship of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, approved the dedication of five newly constructed temples to the public in the month of July along with the construction of five additional temples in District Reasi. According to a release, as part of this initiative, the Shrine Board has formally dedicated the five temples today at each location in distinct villages across the district, namely Gorta Kalika Sathaan, Village-Harotkote; Pancheri Galli, Village-Dangakote; Tote Devsthan, Village-Tote; Village-Devigarh of Tehsil Bhomag and Village-Chasana. Prior to the installation of the Holy Idols at the newly constructed temples, the Shrine Board organised a spiritually enriching three-day Hawan and Puja ceremony at the Spiritual Growth Centre (SGC), Katra. These rituals were conducted with deep reverence by the Shrine Pujaris under the guidance of Padma Prof. Vishwamurti Shastri for invoking divine blessings and sanctifying the proceedings in alignment with age-old Vedic traditions. Following these preparatory rites, the sacred Pran Pratishtha ceremonies-rituals and Kanya Poojan were performed at the respective temple locations. Each ceremony marked the formal consecration of the temple and its deity, carried out by learned Pujaris of the Shrine Board in the presence of local community members and Shrine Board officials. During the dedication ceremony of the newly constructed temples, Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, stated that the Board has decided to entrust the management of these temples to the local communities after the sacred Pran Pratishtha rituals. He underscored that by handing over the responsibility for daily worship and routine maintenance to local residents, the Board aims to strengthen grassroots spiritual engagement in preserving cultural heritage while ensuring that the temples are maintained in a manner that reflects the community's devotional spirit and traditions. CEO also exhorted that the Shrine Board shall be installing CCTV cameras at each of the newly constructed temples as a vital measure to ensure the sanctity of the premises and support the effective management of temple activities. Notably, as part of the sacred Pran Pratishtha rituals, the Shrine Board upheld the tradition of offering communal blessings by distributing Halwa and Channa Prasad to all those present on the occasion at the respective locations.
