Gemma Collins has revealed she's been battling pneumonia for three weeks.
The TOWIE star, 44, whose mother Joan had pneumonia in 2020, announced the news while sharing a selfie in bed on Instagram on Wednesday.
'Hey guys sorry been quiet I have pneumonia. I'm not as fast or on it as I usually am on the daily. I am still honoring my work commitments which is taking every bit of energy i have but will be back entertaining you all soon,' she wrote.
The I'm A Celebrity! star explained that she felt 'tired' and 'out-of-breath' and had been visited by a doctor at home and put on a drip.
Pneumonia is inflammation of the lungs, usually caused by an infection and symptoms typically include a combination of a dry cough, chest pain, fever, and difficulty breathing.
Most people recover in two to four weeks, but babies, older people, and people with heart or lung conditions are at risk of getting seriously ill and may need treatment in hospital.
Collins shared a photo of her arm attached to a drip on her Story and wrote: 'I'm having to take it easy which is not like me very slow and get so out of breath and tired so quick.'
Alongside a snap of a doctor prescribing her medication, she added: 'Thank you to everyone helping me I've had pneumonia for the last three weeks and honestly can't thank everyone all the docs helping me.'
The ITV star also posted a photo of her dog Gucci 'giving her lots of cuddles'.
Collins' mother Joan was also struck down with pneumonia back in March 2020, with the TV personality thanking the NHS for helping her despite being 'overstretched' by the Covid-19 pandemic.
'Thank you to all the nurses who helped my mum [she has] pneumonia and on the mend. NHS thank you thank you thank you so over stretched right now,' she penned at the time.
The Dancing On Ice alum explained that Joan was also suffering from rheumatoid arthritis – a long term autoimmune disorder that affects the joints – and was therefore classed as being at high risk of serious illness from Covid-19.
Collins' health battles comes after she lost three stone, going from a size 26 to a size 20, in three months thanks to weight loss jabs.
In April, the TV star revealed she was using the NHS-approved Mounjaro injections since January.
While thrilled with her slimmed down frame, Collins admitted she was concerned that the medication could be responsible for her 'looking older' as she highlighted her 'next level' crow's feet.
'I really don't know what's happened to me, I really don't, It's just come on me overnight. But it has been a year since I've had any little tweakments,' she said.
'I don't know if it's since I've been losing weight. I sure haven't got 'Ozempic face' yet, but it would be the dream right now.
'I've always had a fuller face, as you know. I do like expression around my eyes. I want to look natural still. But this just isn't right. What has happened? I am 44 but this is taking it to levels that I never, ever imagined it'd get to.'
'Ozempic-face' is a term used to describe a gaunt appearance usually caused by rapid weight loss.

"Reacher" is undeniably one of the biggest hits for Prime Video. The first three seasons have been critically and commercially successful for the streaming service — I loved season 3 when I reviewed it here at Tom's Guide — and it wasn't surprising when the show was officially renewed for season 4. Now, with production in full swing, we've gotten a first look at a major cast member. Via @rikiwichman, a fan account on Instagram, we finally got a first look at Sydelle Noel, who has joined the "Reacher" season 4 cast as Tamara Green. They initially posted the announcement back on June 18 when Noel was officially added to the cast, but revised the post yesterday (Aug. 11), complete with new set photos of Noel as Green (via Getty Images). That's because Tamara Green was originally Theresa Lee, and that means she's Alan Ritchson's love interest for season 4. For those less familiar with "Reacher," they're based on the "Jack Reacher" novel series by Lee Child, and that means if we know what book a season is based on, then we know a decent amount about what to expect from a given season. We know season 4 is based on the novel "Gone Tomorrow," thanks to an Alan Ritchson post on Instagram a few months ago. And in that installment of the series, Jack Reacher's love interest is none other than NYPD detective Theresa Lee. So definitely don't expect this to be the last you see of Tamara Green between now and the "Reacher" season 4 release on Prime Video. So far, we know that "Reacher" season 4 will bring back Alan Ritchson as the titular, mammoth Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army military police major whose skills allow him to solve any case and kick any butt. We also know that season 4 will be adapting "Gone Tomorrow," which has Reacher drawn into a deadly game against dangerous people after a fraught, chance encounter with a stranger on a train. Only Ritchson as Reacher and Maria Sten as Frances Neagley have appeared in all three seasons to date. Of course, we know Noel will be a major part of the season 4 cast as Reacher's love interest, Green, but we also know a few other cast members joining this season. Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette is playing Jacob Merrick, a small-town police officer with a big role in season 4. Jay Baruchel was originally cast as Merrick but had to leave for personal reasons. Rodriguez-Marquette, Ritchson and Noel are joined by Agnez Mo and Anggun as Lila and Amisha Hoth, who we are expecting to be the villains this season. Kevin Corrigan is playing Green's partner, NYPD Detective Docherty, Marc Blucas is politician John Samson and Kathleen Robertson is his wife, Elsbeth. Kevin Weisman is also on board as Russell Plum, the lone character that, as far as we can tell, isn't in the novel "Gone Tomorrow." The big question that remains? Will Sten return for a fourth season as Neagley? I hope so, but there's nothing official yet. She might be too busy with her "Reacher" spin-off, "Neagley," which is currently in production. ATLANTA (AP) — The man who fired more than 180 shots with a long gun at the headquarters of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention broke into a locked safe to get his father's weapons and wanted to send a message against COVID-19 vaccines, authorities said Tuesday. Documents found in a search of the home where Patrick Joseph White lived with his parents 'expressed the shooter's discontent with the COVID-19 vaccinations,' Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey said. White, 30, had written about wanting to make 'the public aware of his discontent with the vaccine,' Hosey said. Three Chefs Run This Secret Napa Supper Club That's Become an IYKYK Local Favorite

Perhaps Napa's best, and most intimate kept secret, the Stoop Supper Club, quietly redefines home dining — and sells out in the process. Founded by three friends with a passion for food, Madison Gabor, Brooke Garlieb, and Barbora McCart, the invite-only experience is one of the most talked-about culinary gatherings in Wine Country. Garlieb, a private chef in the Valley, and Gabor, the Estate and Event Chef at Ashes & Diamonds Winery, first crossed paths while studying at the CIA Greystone in St. Helena. The two quickly bonded over oysters and Sancerre, before meeting McCart, the estate sous chef of Progeny Winery, at a lamb-themed dinner party. What began as casual get-togethers among friends soon evolved into something more substantial. One evening, during an aperitif hour on their front stoop, the trio conceived an idea: why not open their homes to the public for seasonal, intimate dinners? 'We noticed that between the three of us, we had such different friend groups,' Gabor says, 'different people in our lives who didn't know each other, and we wanted to connect the dots.' They posted on Instagram, 'Would anyone be interested in coming over for dinner hosted by us?' and went for a bike ride between Oak Knoll and Yountville. During the ride, they got 27 'yes' responses on Instagram. Their first club dinner was launched in April 2023, featuring two tables of eight, totaling 16 people. The event sold out in seconds, with a menu headlined by lamb porchetta, served family-style — a noted favorite of Garlieb. Today, their club is truly community-driven, with a diverse range of guests, including high school basketball coaches, those in the hospitality industry, local business owners, and visitors from San Francisco. The cost of the meal ranges from $135 to $150 and includes appetizers and four to five courses, with two to three items per course. 'Barbora is incredibly efficient and really on it; she handles a lot of the admin. Brooke is really produce-driven and focused on the seasonality of ingredients,' Gabor says. Those same fresh ingredients help shape the club's monthly menu theme, which is also heavily influenced by the chef's creativity. At Progeny, McCart creates menus that highlight the winery's exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, but Stoop is a different story. 'I think one of the original goals for us creating Stoop was to have more creative freedom in the kitchen and trying to cook the things that we normally don't have a chance to or are scared to try…the one thing we are adamant about is using seasonal ingredients,' McCart says. Vincent Vitale One of their most popular themed nights was 'Tomato Girl Summer,' when heirlooms were at their peak. Most recently, they debuted a meal centered around in-season corn. Leading the way to Garlieb's home, corn drawings made from chalk adorn the sidewalk and lead to the backyard where the dinner takes place. Most of the supper-club guests dress in theme and wear yellow, greeted at the gate with a refreshing popcorn spritz, poured directly from a pitcher with a unicorn spout. Fried corn fritters circulate as guests mingle, and after 30 minutes, everyone sits at one long table for dinner. The table is decorated with wildflowers, candles shaped like corn, and corn-themed name cards created by Allison Waldman, the sous chef at Ashes & Diamonds. Waldman, attending her first Stoop Supper Club, beams with excitement. 'It's great to have a meal where everything is really good,' Waldman says. 'I haven't been surprised in so long.' The corn-centric meal delivers on that promise: The chilled corn soup features rock shrimp, cucumber, avocado, and jalapeno, accompanied by Floriani cornbread and corn miso butter from Shared Cultures, prompting the group to cheer the chefs with excited applause. A blue corn tostada followed, served with charred corn crema, heirloom tomatoes, and chile crisp, while Brentwood corn agnolotti headlined, accompanied with nasturtium butter, lamb bacon, chanterelles, and chive blossoms. Dessert stole the show at the end of the night. The chefs scooped ice cream cones to order, hand-delivering 'corn on the cone' — the sweet corn ice cream tastes like creamed corn, but in frozen custard form. The smooth texture contrasted with the crumbly triple-corn swirl interior made from homemade cookies composed of masa, dehydrated corn, and cornmeal. The ice cream ended the meal on a nostalgic note. It's a place where strangers discover they are neighbors, people banter over the best restaurants in town, and thought-provoking questions encourage conversation. By the end of the night, numbers were exchanged, Formula 1: Drive to Survive was discussed, and hugs were given. It's the exact result the three chefs dreamed up over drinks two years ago — bringing people together to slow down, connect, and enjoy dishes they won't find anywhere else. Building on their momentum, the trio recently launched a Cookbook Club, a free, community-driven potluck where participants vote on a cookbook, pick a recipe, and bring a dish to share. It's designed for curious cooks who want to experiment, eat, and connect — all with a glass of wine in hand. Whether it's a supper under string lights or a recipe shared over a communal table, The Stoop is turning casual home cooking into one of Napa's most exclusive culinary scenes. What began as a low-key gathering among friends has quietly transformed into a social group and one of Napa's most sought-after dining experiences, if you know where to look.
