Hosted by Stephen Mangan, The Fortune Hotel sees competitors forced to lie to each other in order to claim a £250,000 prize.
The hit show will be back on viewers' screens this summer.
In a change from the first series, the show will reportedly be airing two episodes per week across four weeks.
Last time around, eight episodes aired on consecutive nights for two weeks.
An accompanying podcast hosted by comedian Ellie Taylor is also said to be in development.
Titled "Late Check Out", it will take listeners behind the scenes while offering an exclusive look at The Fortune Hotel's challenges and shock twists.
The podcast is subject to funding and has not yet been formally commissioned, according to TVZone.
Following series one, ITV confirmed applications and the audition process for next series's hopefuls had begun.
Meanwhile, The Fortune Hotel previously faced a "fakery row" concerning the first series.
The show came under fire for scenes that viewers felt were scripted/faked for dramatic effect.
'Why do this to us?!' rage The Fortune Hotel viewers as they threaten to boycott show after 'cliffhanger' ending
Suspicions were raised on the programme over the validity of scenes after fans spotted a damning pattern between certain contestants.
In particular, couples who had been handed the Early Checkout Card - which put them at risk of being kicked out of the Grenada hotel and out of the running for the money.
Viewers noticed a streak of those with the Early Checkout card winning challenges and therefore saving their place.
A total of 10 couples compete - with only one pair being armed with a briefcase containing the whopper cash prize.
Eight suitcases are empty, with one containing the dreaded early checkout card, leading to elimination.
From there, the challenge begins in order to find which case the cash is in.
The first series saw mother and son Jo-Anne and Will emerge as the winners - but who will follow in their footsteps?
The Fortune Hotel airs on ITV1 and ITVX.

Michelle Keegan shares stunning selfie as she gears up for first TV role since birth of baby daughter Palma
cut a chic figure in striped trousers as she shared a series of snaps to her Instagram Stories on Thursday. The actress, 38, looked incredible in a brown vest top and matching trousers as she snapped a mirror selfie. Alongside her post, she penned 'Stripes all around' as she was seen posing in her bathroom. Her post comes after she revealed she has teamed up with Line Of Duty and Black Mirror stars for an 'unmissable' new ITV drama called The Blame. Michelle will turn into a detective to solve a murder mystery with a 'tangled web of lies' in the upcoming new show, which is based on Charlotte Langley's book of the same name. Fool Me Once star Michelle will take on the role of DI Emma Crane, while Line of Duty legend Nigel Boyle is a forensic technician called Brett Shergill. They aren't the only famous faces that viewers will recognise as Black Mirror's Joe Armstrong has landed the role of a ice-skating coach called Kyle Fraiser. They will be joined by the likes of The Last Kingdom's Ian Hart, Nathan Mensah, Passenger's Matilda Freeman, House of the Dragon 's Gavin Spokes, Last Tango in Halifax's Josh Bolt and White Lines star Ceallach Spellman. 'The drama dives into secrets, suspicion and systemic corruption - all under the surface of this seemingly quiet town,' the official ITV press release states. TV's Director of Drama, Polly Hill, has commissioned the new six-part series which has been produced by Quay Street Productions. Fans hopefully shouldn't have to wait that long until it hits our screens as filming will commence in the UK's capital and the surrounding areas. 'The series begins when the body of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen is discovered, sending shockwaves through the town of Wakestead. 'As DI Crane (Keegan) and DI Radley (Booth) dig deeper, what starts as a tragic death, spirals into a tangled web of lies, institutional cover-ups, and moral compromise. 'As the clock ticks and trust fractures, Crane must navigate both a murder investigation and the treacherous politics inside her own team,' the press release adds. Polly Hill said: 'The Blame is a brilliant new crime thriller full of surprising twists and a compelling investigation that also cleverly tackles police corruption, exploitation and misogyny as the thriller unravels. 'Megan is such a wonderful and clever writer, and with Michelle Keegan in the lead and Nicola Shindler at the helm, this is going to be an unmissable drama and one I'm very proud to have on ITV.' The show has been written and executively produced by the woman behind Her Fault and Wolf Megan Gallagher. Mary said: 'The Blame is such an important and urgent story to tell; I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to bring Charlotte Langley's world and characters to life on screen. 'It's my second collaboration with Quay Street Productions, and it's great to be working with the team again - I'm truly in the best hands.' While the executive producer for Quay Street Productions, Nicola Schindler and Richard Fee, said: 'We are so delighted to be working with Megan again. 'She is an exceptional writer who has written a compelling series taking viewers on a twisty journey to discover what really happened through the lens of a contemporary police station brimming with secrets, corruption, and betrayal. 'We are also thrilled at the brilliant cast led by Michelle and Douglas, who will keep viewers on the edge of their seats, wondering who to trust at a time when the themes explored in The Blame are more relevant than ever.' This is one of Michelle's first roles since welcoming her daughter Palma, who she shares with husband Mark Wright, into the world. The former Corrie star gave birth to her baby girl back in March this year. They announced the happy news that they were expecting back in December 2024. The last TV show that she starred in was Netflix's Fool Me Once, where she played Maya Stern in the drama. That was back in 2024. She's also still playing the roles of Kate Thorne in Ten Pound Poms and Erin Croft in Brassic.

Coronation Street's Beverley Callard, 68, showcases her huge leg tattoo in skimpy denim shorts after adding to the 'growing' inking
Coronation Street star Beverley Callard showcased her giant leg tattoo as she uploaded a clip to Instagram on Thursday. The soap actress, 68, who starred as Liz McDonald on the ITV soap, was seen standing in her kitchen wearing a pair of skimpy denim shorts. But as her husband, Jon McEwan - who she has been marry to since 2010- walked towards her, fans were able to catch a glimpse of her extended inking. She has added a sixth magnolia to the 'growing' bloom of flowers which creeps up her lower leg. The design features purple, blue and red flowers with pretty petals winding their way up her calf from her foot. It's not the first tattoo for the soap star, with Beverley previously revealing she got her first inking at 59. The actress had comedy and tragedy masks inked over a music score along with a red love heart in tribute to her husband Jon. The couple's names are written in the love heart along with 30-10-10, their wedding anniversary. Before tying the knot with Jon, Beverley was married to Steve Callard from 1989 until 2001, David Sowden from 1980 until 1988 and Paul Atkinson for three years from 1974 until 1977. Beverley has previously revealed that she's planning to go under the knife because she's 'scared of not getting any work'. Talking about her plans to have a facelift, Beverley told The Sun: 'I am going to do it, yes. It's difficult because our industry is so sexist and ageist, still.' She continued to reflect on how many films have husbands who are much older than their wives, saying the wives are usually 'stick insects… and their faces don't move'. 'I'm just going to join that because I'm scared of not getting work,' she added. The actress is thought to be intending to have the work done at London's Harley Street Skin Clinic. Despite being quite determined to have the surgery, her husband Jon and children Rebecca, 46, and Joshua, 32, are not said to be very keen. Beverley brushed off their concerns, saying she 'hates mirrors' and hasn't got much confidence about her appearance, preferring to play a role than appear as herself. She also detailed Jon's response to her facelift plans while on Melanie Blake's Girl Talk podcast in March, saying: 'Jon really doesn't want me to have it done. 'But I'm going to do it and I am doing it for me.'
