Billie Eilish Rocks Back To No. 1 On Several Billboard Charts

Most albums, even those by some of the biggest names in the music industry, don't remain on the Billboard charts for a year. That feat is reserved for collections that a huge number of people not only love when they're brand new, but continue to buy – and especially stream – for months afterward.
All of Billie Eilish's projects have reached that milestone on a handful of Billboard's rankings, and even after so much time, her latest is still a champion well over a year after Hit Me Hard and Soft debuted.
Hit Me Hard and Soft Jumps Back to No. 1
Hit Me Hard and Soft continues to lead the charge on multiple Billboard tallies, even returning to No. 1 on a highly competitive list. Eilish's most recent project can currently be found on half a dozen of the company's albums charts, and it rules two of them.
The singer-songwriter's Grammy-nominated studio effort holds at No. 1 on the Top Alternative Albums ranking, where it has now spent 49 of its 58 frames running the show.
At the same time, Hit Me Hard and Soft returns to No. 1 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart. That all-consumption roster includes both styles, making it slightly more competitive.
Billie Eilish Replaces Brandon Lake at No. 1
Last time around, Eilish stepped aside so that King of Hearts by Brandon Lake could rule. Now, that Christian musician's full-length dips to No. 7 in its second week on the list, while Eilish rises to the summit once again, earning her forty-third stay at No. 1 with Hit Me Hard and Soft.
Hit Me Hard and Soft Lives Inside the Top 20
Eilish's 2024 project is still performing well across four other Billboard tallies, but it doesn't manage to appear inside the top 10 on any of them. The collection is a top 20 win on the Vinyl Albums list (No. 14), Billboard 200 (No. 16), Top Streaming Albums roster (No. 17), and Top Album Sales chart (No. 19).
Billie Eilish's Entire Catalog is Charting
Eilish's two other full-lengths, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Happier Than Ever, also live on not only the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums tallies, but also the Billboard 200. Those full-lengths are largely on the rise on the genre-specific rankings, but dip on the all-style, all-consumption Billboard 200.
'Birds of a Feather' and 'Wildflower' Keep the Album Alive
While sales of Hit Me Hard and Soft are still strong — especially for a year-plus-old project — it's streams of several singles from the release that are keeping the full-length going. 'Birds of a Feather' and 'Wildflower' both live on a wide variety of rankings in the U.S., in some instances even appearing inside the top 10. When it comes to 'Birds of a Feather,' the track continues to rule multiple tallies at the same time.

DeMarcus Cousins: Nikola Jokic Considered Retirement Instead Of Signing $300 Million Supermax Deal

DeMarcus Cousins: Nikola Jokic Considered Retirement Instead Of Signing $300 Million Supermax Deal originally appeared on Fadeaway World. Nikola Jokic's enthusiasm for horse racing is a well-known fact in the NBA community, and in some ways, even outweighs his love for basketball. Still, the idea that Jokic nearly retired before signing his contract extension comes as a surprise. Former Denver Nuggets center DeMarcus Cousins recently shared the story of how Jokic was contemplating retirement instead of signing a supermax deal on the "Straight Game Podcast". He recalled: "When I was with Denver, our lockers were next to each other. I don't remember who at the time had signed an extension, but I'm like, "Yours is going to be crazy!" He was like, 'You know, Cuz, I honestly think I might retire before this contract.'" Cousins was stunned by Jokic's willingness to walk away from a $300 million payday. "I said, 'Man, you out your motherf***ing mind,'" he continued. "I said, 'Sign the contract and just get fat at worst.' Don't pass up on the $300 million. You can't do that." He recalled Jokic saying he just wanted to relax in the Serbian countryside with his horses. Cousins tried to convince him by joking that he could buy more horses with the money. Jokic's disinterest in playing basketball was also noted when the four-time All-Star emphasized that Jokic did not care much about playing in the NBA. He claimed: "If you ever get a chance to just hold a conversation with him, and he tells you a little bit about himself, he really doesn't give a f**k about this s**t. He doesn't care. At all. This is like his second or third favorite thing to do. Maybe third or fourth. Most games, when he's dropping these crazy stats, he probably doesn't want to be there. And that's the scary part about all of it." If Cousins' statement is to be believed, something plenty of evidence supports, Jokic may be the most naturally gifted player the NBA has ever seen. Even disengaged, the Nuggets superstar remains one of the best players in the league. As a perennial MVP candidate, the Serbian big man consistently delivers unreal numbers to help his team secure victories. In the 2024-25 season, Jokic put up an average of 29.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 10.8 assists, while shooting 57.6% from the field and 41.7% from three-point range. Absurd numbers for someone who treats basketball like a hobby. Jokic's love for his horses and being home in Serbia is endearing to fans, but it raises several concerns for the Nuggets organization. Having declined their recent extension offer, possibly for a significantly more lucrative deal next season, the big man could very genuinely leave the team at some point. While ownership is already uneasy about Jokic's future in Denver, the bigger question is whether he'll stay in the NBA at all. To keep him invested, the Nuggets have been active in building a stronger roster this offseason, effectively seeing them emerge as contenders. The prospects for the upcoming season may be positive, but the superstar will currently focus on representing his home country at the upcoming EuroBasket story was originally reported by Fadeaway World on Jul 31, 2025, where it first appeared.

How to watch WWE Summerslam 2025: Live stream and match card for night two

WWE Summerslam night one is in the books and now attention shifts to night two as the John Cena retirement tour continues. On what will be his final Summerslam appearance, Cena faces the person he dethroned at WrestleMania 41 to become a record-breaking 17-time WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes. Only this time the stakes have been raised as Cena puts the Undisputed WWE championship on the line in a street fight. This means the pair can battle inside and out of the MetLife Stadium because this match has no disqualifications, falls count anywhere and weapons are legal. There's an argument to be made that Rhodes, to date, poses the biggest threat to Cena's title reign but the 'American Nightmare' will no doubt have to pull out all the stops to avenge his loss from less than four months ago. In addition, there are five other championship matches to whet the appetite tonight. All of which have the potential to steal the show - and quite possibly the entire weekend. The WWE United States title will be defended in a steel cage as new champion Solo Sikoa faces Jacob Fatu in a rematch from WWE Night of Champions. The odds are not in Naomi's favour as she defends her newly won Women's world championship in a triple threat match against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. It's the last chance saloon for Lyra Valkyria because if she fails to beat Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental championship in a no DQ and no count-out match, she can never challenge for the title as long as Lynch is champion. Elsewhere on the card, The Wyatt Sicks defend the WWE tag team championships in a six-pack tables, ladders, and chairs (TLC) match, while AJ Styles looks to capture the WWE Intercontinental championship from Dominik Mysterio. Another huge night of wrestling awaits and here's everything you need to know about where to watch Summerslam night two unfold... How to watch WWE Summerslam 2025 night two Live stream: In the UK, night two of WWE Summerslam 2025 can be watched and streamed live on Netflix. Coverage starts at 11pm BST tonight, Sunday, August 3, 2025. A membership costs £4.99 a month and the subscription can be cancelled at any time.
