Arsenal eye Real Madrid star as Eberechi Eze concerns emerge
Arsenal have enjoyed a busy summer so far, with six players making the move to the Emirates ahead of another Premier League title challenge. Arsenal have finished second for the past three seasons and will be desperate to win the league this season. Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosqura, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga have all been brought in to strengthen Mikel Arteta's squad, while several fringe players have departed. Nuno Tavares and Marquinhos have been sold to Lazio and Cruzeiro respectively, while Jorginho, Kieran Tierney and Thomas Partey have been released. An agreement was also reached to terminate Takehiro Tomiyasu's deal a year early. Plenty more incomings and outgoings are expected before the transfer window slams shut and Mirror Football has taken a look at all the latest news and rumours from in and around the Emirates... READ MORE: Transfer news LIVE: Isak bid REJECTED, Sesko to make Man Utd decision, Chelsea's Simons headache READ MORE: Tottenham boss Thomas Frank approves £12m Arsenal transfer - 'He's a top player' According to Football Espana, Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz. It is claimed that Real Madrid are open to selling Diaz this summer, with new manager Xabi Alonso informing the player that he would only have a 'secondary role' next season if he remained at the Bernabeu. The report states that Arsenal, AC Milan and Fenerbahce are all weighing up a move for the 24-year-old, while Saudi Pro League sides Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal and Neom SC are said to be willing to pay around €40m (£35m) for Diaz. Arsenal are one of several clubs interested in Brahim Diaz (Image: Alex Caparros) Arsenal have been warned that Liverpool's interest in Marc Guehi could scupper their move for Eberechi Eze. Arsenal are expected to make a move for Eze once they have offloaded some players, with the England international said to be keen on a move to the Emirates. However, Liverpool are interested in Eze's Crystal Palace teammate Guehi and that could complicate the situation. Palace are unlikely to sanction the exits of two key players this summer, although Liverpool are currently focused on their attempts to sign striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle. Arsenal are targeting a move for Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze (Image:) Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has backed Christian Norgaard to be a success at Arsenal, having managed the midfielder at both Brentford and Brondby. When asked about Norgaard's move to Arsenal, Frank said: "It was a little emotional. I've known him since he was 15. He's 31 now and I've been training him for 12 years so I can say that I've known him for a pretty long time. "This is the first time I've played against him. He played for me more than 300 games and it was a bit strange to see him on the other team. He's a top player and I can understand why Arsenal went for him. I'm so happy that he got this great opportunity late in his career." Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Man Utd transfer news: Benjamin Sesko sent strong message as club chief speaks out
Manchester United are keen to add RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko to the clutch of signings they've already made this summer and one Red Devil has already made his thoughts very clear Manchester United are currently in the middle of their pre-season tour of America - but that doesn't mean there's nothing going on at Old Trafford. The Red Devils are hard at work trying to add more new faces to Ruben Amorim's squad ahead of the new season. United have already rubber-stamped three summer arrivals: Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo have both completed moves from both Wolves and Brentford respectively, while young defender Diego Leon has also completed a move to Manchester. But United are not finished there with more incomings and player sales expected before the transfer deadline. A striker is also on their shopping list, with RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko emerging as the club's priority transfer target. Talks regarding his arrival are ongoing. Elsewhere, outgoings are also on the agenda. Marcus Rashford has already completed a move away from the club after joining Barcelona. Take a look at all of the latest transfer rumours: Dorgu sends Sesko message Man United defender Patrick Dorgu claims he still has plenty of faith in Rasmus Hojlund despite the club chasing Benjamin Sesko. 'He's doing really well,' said Dorgu. 'He looks sharp, he looks fit and I'm very happy for Rasmus to get his goal. 'It was a difficult season for Rasmus. Not only for him, but for everyone, so I think this season is really important for him and for the team to get back to where we have to be in the league. 'We need a striker to deliver on the pitch, so that's why he was happy. We talk in training, we try to understand each other on the pitch, for me to know where he is in the box and what movements he likes. He needs confidence, everyone needs confidence and a goal always helps with that.' Juventus speak out on Sancho Juventus chief Damien Comolli has suggested that his side are still interested in Jadon Sancho - but will only make a move should one of their current widemen leave. He said: 'I think the club is very attractive; many agents and players are calling me. After all, we are Juventus, and we want to get back to winning ways. 'Securing Conceição's permanence was a clear and strong decision because he can play on both fronts. We have two of the best wingers in the world, and Nico is a great player. If someone were to leave, we will consider him [Sancho]." Sancho was in line for a move to Chelsea this summer after spending last season on loan but the Blues decided to pay a £5m penalty fee to back out of the agreement. United eye Donnarumma While the Red Devils are keen to bolster their attacking options, it also appears that they want to add to their goalkeeping ranks. As per Sky Sports, United are interested in PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. The Italian has entered the final year of his contract at the Parc des Princes, with the French side having signed Lucas Chevalier from Lille as a potential replacement. But Donnarumma could yet stay. A further year with PSG has not been ruled out and the Italian is in no rush to make a decision on his future.
