Aap Jaisa Koi follows the love story of Srirenu Tripathi, a Sanskrit teacher from Jamshedpur and Madhu Bose, a French teacher from Kolkata. The story explores themes of compatibility, equality and differing worldviews, as Shrirenu and Madhu are attracted to each other, but their relationship faces opposition from societal expectations and family members.
Aap Jaisa Koi marks R Madhavan and Fatima's first on-screen collaboration. Recently, speaking about the film and sharing the screen with the Tanu Weds Manu actor, Fatima told Zoom, 'It's a very sweet film. Vivek Soni is an excellent director—I believe he is one of the most giftmong the newer directors. He has a strong visual voice, and when you see his films, you know it's Vivek Soni, which is quite remarkable. Also, I adore Maddy—he is amazing. He's been the country's crush for years, and I think his smile is still the most gorgeous of any actor. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him."
Coming back to Neha, she was last seen as a gang leader in the adventure reality show, Roadies Double X, alongside Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty, Elvish Yadav and Gautam Gulati.
