Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Leak, New Skins, New Character and More

Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 will hit on May 30th, and it's more than a typical mid-season patch. What appeared to be a normal update with Ultron's highly anticipated debut has rapidly grown into something much larger.
Due to early lore leaks and datamined hints, players are assuming that one of the most formidable heroes in Marvel—Jean Grey, also known as Phoenix—is potentially entering the battlefield, paving the way for a game-changing Season 3.
Ultron Takes Center Stage
The official headliner of Season 2.5 is Ultron, the rogue AI villain who has long haunted Marvel's narrative universe. According to new lore, Ultron is brought back in a big way: during a climactic battle on Arakko, he infects both Hawkeye and Iron Fist with a mind-control virus.
With assistance from Magneto and Winter Soldier's psychological strength, the heroes are able to shrug off Ultron's control and steal back Cerebro—just to be double-crossed by Doom 2099.
But Ultron, in a pretty freaky dose of poetic justice, delivers the knockout punch to Doom, and it looks like he saves the day or doesn't.

That triumph is short-lived. The body of Doom is discovered to be a robot duplicate, triggering alarms for possibly a greater, more sinister scheme.

The story gets darker still with Adam Warlock feeling the return of Knull—an ancient villain responsible for fashioning the symbiotes.
The Phoenix Force Beckons
It's this return of Knull that can potentially open up the door to Jean Grey's coming. In a "primal force of the universe," Knull's return needs a hero of similar proportions. Enter Phoenix.
Hints at Jean Grey's potential introduction have been piling up for weeks. Her name was snuck into a Marvel Rivals event page last season, and she was one of the characters featured in a gigantic pre-launch leak.
Now, with some lore pointing to having to call up a hero who can stand up to cosmic-level threats, fans are interpreting between the lines—and all indications are for the Phoenix Force.
Emma Frost
: A Subtle Guidepost
Coincidentally, the inclusion of Emma Frost in the latest season might not be such. The core character in X-Men lore and a regular sidekick (and nemesis) to Jean Grey, Emma's addition might be part of a slow burn bridge that connects X-Men lore directly to the return of Phoenix.
If Jean Grey is coming, Emma Frost's function might just change from main character to essential bridge narrative.
NEW SEASON 2.5 BATTLEPASS SHOWCASE IN MARVEL RIVALS!
What's Next for Marvel Rivals?
With Ultron's robotic rampage building and Knull waiting in the cosmic wings, Marvel Rivals is increasingly positioning itself for a seismic change. Season 2.5 is building towards what might be the most explosive season to date. If Jean Grey does make it into Season 3, it could revolutionize gameplay with Phoenix's legendary resurrection powers, fire-telekinesis, and planetary annihilation.
As fans await the 30th of May, one can be sure of one thing, Marvel Rivals is about to enter its most ambitious chapter yet.

Even award-winning actor Denzel Washington has debuted on Broadway with a Shakespearean play alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. We look at 7 such actors, who are returning to the theatre and exploring new forms of acting to keep their skills sharp this year: Hugh Jackman A post shared by Hugh Jackman (@thehughjackman) Actor Hugh Jackman is no stranger to the theatre and musicals, both on the big screen and on stage. He is starring in an off-Broadway production of Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes. The play is written by Hannah Moscovitch and explores the complexities of power, consent, and narrative control in the wake of the #MeToo movement. Hugh plays the role of Jon, a college professor who becomes entangled with a student. It premiered at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York (USA) on April 28 and will run till June 18. The actor made his Broadway debut with a play titled Good Night, and Good Luck on Thursday, April 3 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City. It's directed by David Crome and stars Clark Gregg, Glenn Fleshler, Carter Hudson and Ilana Glazer. The actor who usually proudly flaunts his silver hair has dyed it even though 'my wife is going to hate it because nothing makes you look older than when an older guy dyes his hair,' he said, adding, 'My kids are going to just laugh at me nonstop." This play is a stage adaptation of the 2005 movie about CBS news journalist Edward R. Murrow's legendary 1954 exposé on Senator Joseph McCarthy. A post shared by The Jamie Lloyd Company (@jamielloydco) The Marvel actor, who shot to fame as the mischievous Norse God Loki, had reunited with his Marvel universe costar Hayley Atwell. The duo can be seen at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, dancing and singing their hearts out for director Jamie Lloyd's production of Shakespeare's romcom, Much Ado About Nothing. The 44-year-old is playing Benedick, but this isn't his first time playing a Shakespearean role as he essayed Coriolanus on stage in 2014, and Prince Hal in BBC's adaptation of The Hollow Crown. He said, 'If I had good fortune, I'd love to play Shakespeare for the rest of my life. I really love doing it. The plays are so deep, and they contain such wisdom about being alive.' A post shared by The Jamie Lloyd Company (@jamielloydco) For Hayley Atwell, 'Theatre does for me what church can do for many people. I still really feel that.' The actor can be seen as Beatrice, dancing and singing her heart out in Shakespeare's romcom, Much Ado About Nothing. It is in production at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London till April 5. The 42-year-old, who plays the lead in Agent Carter stars opposite Tom Hiddleston, who is also a Marvel alum. A post shared by Playbill (@playbill) The singer-actor will soon be seen on Broadway, starring in Jason Robert Brown's musical The Last Five Years. Director Whitney White is helming it and Nick will be performing opposite Adrienne Warren in the play's first-ever Broadway production. The play will run from April 16 to June 22 at the Hudson Theatre in New York City, USA. The actor is playing the lead in Othello, a remake of the Shakespeare play. 'It's the most excited I've been this century,' Washington said, adding, 'Seriously. I haven't been this excited about anything I've done as I am about this.' The plot revolves around Othello, a military commander who is convinced his wife has been unfaithful by his ensign, Iago. The actor takes the stage as Iago, an ambitious lieutenant and masterful manipulator in Shakespearean play Othello. He stars alongside actor Denzel Washington, who is in the titular role. The play has been reimagined in modern with two soldiers who suffer from PTSD. The production at the Barrymore Theatre is now Broadway's top-grossing play of all time, generating $2.8 million with eight preview performances.

When Sonam Kapoor revealed she was mocked for facial hair, but Kajol's unibrow motivated her: ‘She is the biggest heroine...'

Sonam Kapoor has always been known for her candid statements and bold fashion choices. But not many know about the tough time she had growing up. In a past interview, the 'Neerja' actress opened up about facing hurtful comments because of her facial hair and weight gain, all caused by Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). But what gave her hope during that difficult time was actress Kajol . 'I was traumatised': Sonam on her teenage struggles Before she became the stylish star of films like 'Aisha' and 'Khoobsurat', Sonam was just a teenager struggling with a medical condition. She was diagnosed with PCOS, earlier called PCOD, a hormonal issue that many young women face. The condition caused her to gain weight, develop facial hair, and suffer from acne. Talking about this difficult phase in her life, the 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' actress shared her story on Barkha Dutt's Mojo Story. She said, 'I had something called PCOS. They used to call it PCOD, but they've changed it now. Because of that, I had multiple hormonal issues. So, I put on weight when I was 16 years old, which is when you're supposed to be your 'prettiest'. I had facial hair, I broke out in acne, and I had people tell me, 'She's Anil Kapoor 's daughter'. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรดทองCFDs กับโบรกเกอร์ที่เชื่อถือได้ | เรียนรู้เพิ่มเติม IC Markets สมัคร Undo I was traumatised.' How Kajol's unibrow gave her courage But in the middle of all this pain, Sonam found a surprising source of comfort. It came from her mother – and from actress Kajol, who was a top star at the time. Kajol was known for proudly sporting her natural unibrow, and she never gave in to unrealistic beauty standards. The 'Raanjhanaa' recalled the moment clearly saying, 'At that time, I remember Kajol had a unibrow. She never did her eyebrows. She had hairline hair, and I remember my mom showing me Kajol's picture, and she was like, 'Look at her, she's the biggest heroine right now.' I remember seeing her and feeling motivated.' Sonam didn't let her struggles hold her back. She was later spotted by none other than filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali , her life changed when she was cast in 'Saawariya' opposite Ranbir Kapoor . The film marked her debut in Bollywood and kicked off her career. On the personal front, Sonam got married to businessman Anand Ahuja on 8 May 2018. The couple later moved to London, where they started a new chapter in their lives. In 2022, Sonam became a mother and welcomed a baby boy.
