Meanwhile, Justin Bieber dropped his seventh studio album, "Swag," hailed for its mature themes of marriage, mental health, and personal growth.
According to TMZ, insiders with direct knowledge say the agreement between Justin and Braun includes a key clause, the singer's $31.5 million obligation is postponed until the Rhode deal officially closes and funds are transferred.

An independent audit revealed that Justin owed Hybe $26 million, following the company's payment to AEG to cover costs associated with his canceled "Justice" tour.
He also owed $11 million in unpaid commissions to Braun. While an additional $8 million in commissions was on the books, Braun opted to waive that amount. Per the settlement, the "Peaches" hitmaker agreed to pay Hybe the $26 million plus half of the $11 million commission, bringing his total payment to approximately $31.5 million.
What's happening with Hailey's billion-dollar Rhode sale?
Without the help of his wife, Justin Bieber lacks the funds necessary to pay off his debts. Rhode's sale proceeds must be received before Justin has the funds available to pay off the debt, as per a report by The Blast.
The brand is worth about $1 billion, and multiple investors are involved. Hailey will get a sizable portion, but Justin, an investor as well, is anticipated to make roughly $50 million, which should cover his settlement with Hybe.
Justin Bieber also made $200 million from selling his catalog eighteen months ago but couldn't use that money to pay off his debt. According to insiders, taxes, legal fees, management expenses, and personal expenses drastically decreased that payout, making it impossible for him to pay off his debt without Hailey's assistance.
According to Bieber's spokesperson, the singer's matter and her Rhode Deal are "completely separate." However, Justin's debt settlement reportedly gives him ownership of his masters, which is a huge victory for any artist. It's important to note that after Hybe leaves the company, the money goes straight to him, saving Braun from seeing any of the repayment, as per a report by The Blast.
Rhode's sale is expected to close in a month or two, according to sources. The "historic sale of Rhode is a huge accomplishment for Hailey and is completely separate from her husband and his business affairs."
FAQs
Why can't Justin simply pay the $31.5 million now?
He doesn't have enough cash on hand, and most of it is locked up. He's waiting for money from the Rhode deal, which is expected to pay him around $50 million.
Is Hailey's Rhode deal related to Justin's debt?
Not officially. Her team claims it is "completely separate," but he intends to use the proceeds to pay off his debts.

Is Manon leaving KATSEYE? Fans break down signs of HYBE allegedly phasing her out of the global girl group

If you've been following the K-pop side of X, you've probably read the ongoing rumours around HYBE's girl group KATSEYE. Fans are convinced that something's off when it comes to member Manon. Some believe she's being deliberately sidelined from group activities, while others think she might be on her way out of the group altogether. While the entire situation remains rooted in rumours and speculation, here's a breakdown of what's unfolded so far and why fans believe Manon may be getting unfair treatment within KATSEYE. What's up with KATSEYE, and why do fans think Manon is being sidelined? BTS' label HYBE and Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE, made up of Sophia, Manon, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae, has quickly risen to global fame since their 2024 debut. With bangers like Gnarly and Gabriella, the group has carved out a space that blends pop swagger with K-pop discipline. But their charm goes beyond the music. KATSEYE has become known for their carefree social media energy, chaotic live streams, and most of all, the close-knit bond they openly share. So when Manon began missing from several group activities, even if it was reportedly due to health reasons, fans couldn't help but take notice. KATSEYE fans question Manon's absence from group events The conversation picked up steam earlier this week after a viral tweet pointed out Manon's absence from several group promotions. Fans quickly compiled instances where she was either missing entirely or visibly sidelined, fuelling speculation. One major example is the group's billboard celebration for their Glossier partnership. While the other members posed together in front of the ad, Manon was notably missing, and her face on the billboard was partially covered by another member. The following day, Manon visited the billboard alone, sparking more questions. Many fans wondered why the group couldn't have waited just one more day for her to recover so they could appear together as a full unit. dreamiest collab, thank you Glossier!! billboard locations: 🩷Sunset Blvd & Alta Vista🩷Melrose Ave & Harper Ave 🩷Venice – Pacific Ave (between Windward Ave & Zephyr Ct) Adding to the frustration, fans noticed that in the group's promotional video for their Monster High collaboration, where the members reacted to their custom dolls, Manon had barely any screen time. Unlike the others, she was given little to no solo focus or commentary, which only fuelled suspicions of her being sidelined. idk maybe i'm reaching but i smell an agenda being pushed…. Fans also pointed out that Manon's individual photo was missing from KATSEYE's recent group interview with Hypebae, further fuelling concern that she's being excluded from key promotions. while were at it, hypebae didnt post a pic for manon When fans questioned Manon's absence, a Hypebae staff member shared, "To the EYEKONS: I am not in charge of what photos were sent for the article; they didn't send me a solo photo of Manon to be included, otherwise there would be one! I wouldn't purposely exclude her, guys." What's more concerning, per fans, is that the comment has now been deleted. For a growing number of fans, the signs are too frequent to ignore. Many are starting to suspect that Manon—the only Black member of KATSEYE—is being pushed to the sidelines. With her absence showing up in promo after promo, some now fear she might be gearing up for an unexpected exit. So, is Manon leaving KATSEYE? So far, neither HYBE nor Geffen Records has addressed the speculation about Manon's future in KATSEYE. Manon herself has stayed silent on social media. For now, the group still follows each other, but the silence is only adding to the unease. For all the latest K-drama, K-pop, and Hallyuwood updates, keep following our coverage here.

Rupee falls 20 paise to 86.36 against US dollar in early trade

The rupee depreciated 20 paise to 86.36 against the US dollar in early trade on Monday, weighed down by the overall strength of the American currency in the overseas market and a negative trend in domestic equities. Forex traders said the rupee extended its slide with the breach of the key 86.00 level accelerating the decline as a recovering dollar index sapped rupee sentiment. In initial trade, it witnessed a low of 86.36, registering a fall of 20 paise over its previous close. On Friday, the rupee settled 4 paise lower at 86.16 against the US dollar. Meanwhile, the dollar index, which gauges the greenback's strength against a basket of six currencies, fell 0.02 per cent to 98.46. Live Events "As the dollar recovered, the Indian rupee has been showing downside syndromes and is expected to move between 85.90 to 86.40 with a downward bias for the rupee," said Anil Kumar Bhansali, Head of Treasury and Executive Director, Finrex Treasury Advisors LLP. Brent crude, the global oil benchmark, went up by 0.12 per cent to USD 69.36 per barrel in futures trade. Forex traders said all eyes are now on the outcome of India-US trade talks , especially as the August 1 deadline for potential tariffs on Indian exports draws near. If the discussions fail or get delayed, Indian exporters could face fresh pressure -- adding to the rupee's challenges. However, if a deal is reached, it could offer a much-needed breather. Until then, the uncertainty is likely to keep market participants cautious, CR Forex Advisors MD - Amit Pabari said. Pabari further added that for now, the trend continues to favour a weaker rupee. "The pair may find support around 85.70-85.80, but having crossed 86.00, the door is open for a possible move toward 86.50-86.80," he added. Meanwhile, in the domestic equity market , Sensex declined 155.73 points or 0.19 per cent to 81,602.00, while Nifty fell 63.55 points or 0.25 per cent to 24,904.85. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) purchased equities worth Rs 374.74 crore on a net basis on Friday, according to exchange data.

Paperela Undo A) Leading the gains is our largest holding, which has surged by an impressive 61.6%. It is a company in the aerospace and defence space with a very healthy and growing order book. A mid-sized upstream oil and gas company, which holds the second-largest weight in our portfolio, has also shown strong performance with a 26.5% increase. Our third-largest company is a life insurance company that is part of the Nifty 50 index, which had modest gains of ~5% for the month of June. Live Events These results underscore our balanced approach, capturing high-growth potential while maintaining exposure to stable, long-term value creators. Q) It is a newly launched fund, but the numbers are impressive especially for the past few months. Please take us through the investment objective? A) Our goal is to compound capital steadily over time without taking undue risk. We follow a disciplined, value-oriented approach, focusing on high-quality, consistent compounders temporarily overlooked by the market. This disconnect often creates a favourable risk-reward equation, allowing us to enter at attractive valuations. We believe growth and value are joined at the hip, true value lies in sustainable growth trading at attractive prices. Simply put: buy quality when it's out of favour and let compounding do the heavy lifting. It's not about chasing momentum, but about patience, conviction, and a long-term perspective. Q) Being sector and market cap agnostic gives you wide flexibility. How do you ensure diversification and risk management without restricting yourself to specific segments? A) We do run a fairly concentrated portfolio, but we ensure adequate diversification by limiting exposure to any one sector, typically, we avoid having more than two holdings from the same space. Our value-conscious investment style acts as a natural risk filter. We're not in the business of paying up for growth, which helps us avoid frothy valuations and the risks that come with them. This bottom-up discipline allows us to stay selective, reduce downside risk, and compound capital efficiently over the long term. Q) How do you assess management quality, especially when investing in family-owned companies versus professionally run firms? Are there different evaluation parameters? A) Management quality is a cornerstone of our investment process. We prioritize companies led by leadership teams with a proven track record. We remain vigilant for red flags such as frequent equity dilution or questionable related-party transactions. Additionally, in professionally managed firms, incentive alignment plays a crucial role; we carefully assess ESOP structures and compensation policies to ensure management's interests are closely tied to long-term shareholder value creation. Q) You hold a portion of your portfolio in liquid ETFs. Could you share your strategy behind maintaining cash equivalents in your portfolio? Is it tactical or a consistent allocation? A) We currently maintain a portion of the portfolio in liquid ETFs, and this is a tactical decision rather than a structural allocation. There's an old market adage in the equity markets that says you either get good prices or good news, seldom at the same time. In the current environment, particularly in the mid and small-cap segments, valuations are stretched, and sentiments are running high. That calls for a degree of restraint. We believe it's prudent to keep some dry powder ready. This cash position gives us the flexibility to deploy when more compelling opportunities emerge. Q) Let's talk about markets. Well, we have seen volatile 1H2025 but bulls managed to have an upper hand. How do you see markets panning out for the rest of the calendar year? A) There are numerous macroeconomic factors in flux, ranging from inflation dynamics and interest rate policies to global geopolitical developments. Given this complex backdrop, the market appears somewhat elevated at current levels. This suggests the possibility of a meaningful correction, either in terms of price or time, before we can expect a sustained rally. In such an environment, it has become increasingly difficult to scout for genuine value opportunities. Q) What is your wealth creation mantra which have worked for you? It could be a ratio or metric which you always track. A) Over the years, I've realized that cash flow is paramount. If a company has generated positive operating cash flow consistently for the past decade, it's a strong signal that's hard to overlook, as very few companies meet this benchmark. Alongside cash flow, I closely track incremental Return on Capital Employed, which has been a reliable metric in identifying quality wealth creators.
