Fans slam 'woke' Disney after noticing MAJOR characters missing from Toy Story 5 preview
Pixar first confirmed that a fifth installment to the beloved film series was in the works back in 2023.
Now, a new image believed to be a still from the upcoming movie has made its way around the web.
And while many were excited about the glimpse into the flick, others were not happy that some of the original toys weren't included in it.
The snap showed Jessie standing on a bed and facing a group of toys, which included a slew of Bonnie's playmates like Mr. Pricklepants, Trixie, Dolly, and Buttercup.
Some of the playthings that she got from Andy were also there, like Hamm the Pig, Rex, and a bunch of the alien toys.
But many of the original squad members from the beloved movies were missing, and fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to discuss their absence in droves.
Buzz and Woody were both absent from the photo, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and Slinky Dog.
It was the latter that really caused a stir, as it's already been confirmed that Buzz and Woody will be back for Toy Story 5.
Many began to worry that the adorable couple and mischievous slinky would not be in the fifth movie at all, and were quick to slam the animation studio - which was acquired by Disney in 2006 - over the potential cut.
'WHAT HAPPENED TO MR. AND MRS. POTATO HEAD?' one frantic fan asked.
'What happened to the Potato Heads and Slinky Dog?' questioned another.
'Where's Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head?' a different worried X user wondered.
'NO POTATO HEADS THIS IS TERRIBLE,' yelled someone else.
Many people theorized that Pixar may have 'retired' the characters since their voice actors have passed away.
Don Rickles, who played Mr. Potato Head, died in 2017, while Estelle Harris, who voiced his wife, passed in 2022.
'So did they just retire Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head due to their voice actors having passed away?' read a fifth tweet.
'Their voice actors died, and I guess they didn't want to recast?' a sixth said.
'Actors died so Pixar decided to retire their characters,' theorized another user. 'The Potatoes were beloved, but they were never necessary for the plot.'
Disney has taken numerous strides to become more inclusive in recent years - from amending policies at its theme parks to stop staff from using gendered greetings to removing offensive imagery from rides and movies.
Most notable is when they removed the seven dwarves during their live-action remake of Snow White, replacing them with 'magical creatures' instead.
All of the changes have resulted in Disney earning a reputation for being 'woke,' and some people wondered if Mr. and Mrs. Potato head had been removed for 'woke' reasons.
'We can't even have the Potato Heads back because of woke,' one wrote.
'More woke trash swapping,' scathed another.

Others pointed out that not every character is featured in the new photo so it's still possible that they could still be in the film
The fifth installment to the Toy Story series will follow your favorite group of toys facing a new challenge after their eight-year-old owner Bonnie gets an electronic tablet called Lillypad
Others, however, pointed out that not every character is featured in the new photo so it's still possible that they could still be in the film.
'Mind you half the cast isn't in this shot so chill,' someone else replied, while another added, 'Obviously not every toy is in that picture.'
The fifth installment to the Toy Story series - which will hit theaters on June 19, 2026 - will follow your favorite group of toys facing a new challenge after their eight-year-old owner Bonnie gets an electronic tablet called Lillypad.
Toy Story veterans Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cussack - who played Woody, Buzz, and Jessie respectively in the first four flicks - have all confirmed their return.
The ending of the fourth Toy Story movie left many people heartbroken as Woody decided to part ways with his longtime pals to stay with his love Bo Peep.
But Tim previously told WIVB that Woody will reunite with his character, Buzz, in the new film.
He added, however, that the fifth movie will focus a lot more on Jessie.
'I can tell you that it's a lot about Jessie,' he said. 'Tom and I do - Woody and I - do realign.

Nepo baby with surprising connection to Sex and the City stuns viewers with And Just Like That guest role
Ella Stiller, daughter of actors Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor, made a surprise guest appearance on the new episode of Sex and the City sequel, And Just Like That. In the episode, titled 'Better Than Sex,' Ella, 23, plays Mia, the girl who Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Steve's (David Eigenberg) son, Brady (Niall Cunningham), gets pregnant after a hookup. Miranda later sets out to find Mia to confirm if Brady is the father, with the two having a fiery confrontation. Ella's guest role on the show is particularly special because of her family's connection to the Sex and the City universe: her paternal grandmother, Anne Meara — who passed away in 2015 — played Steve's mother, Mary, in four episodes of the original series. The show follows friends Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda, and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate their complicated lives in New York City. Elsewhere on the episode Carrie moves on from her recent breakup with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) by hooking up with her handsome British neighbor Duncan Reeves (Jonathan Cake). At the start of the episode Miranda is taken aback as she finds out that Brady and Mia barely know each other and that she doesn't want to be with him or have him involved with the baby. Brady tells his parents Mia is 'this girl I've hooked up with maybe twice,' and admits he doesn't know her last name. He says he found out about the pregnancy when he bumped into Mia because she was 'clearly pregnant.' 'She said that's the only reason she told me, 'cause it was so obvious,' he states. Miranda wants to know if Mia is going to keep the baby or give it up for adoption, but Brady doesn't know. Meanwhile Steve is furious by the news. 'You were just getting your life together, and now you have f****d it up so bad!' he yells. Brady reassures them that nothing has changed because Mia doesn't want him involved. Ella's guest role on the show is particularly special because of her family's connection to the Sex and the City universe This infuriates Steve further, and he threatens to hit Brady if he shrugs his shoulders one more time. Upset by his father's words, Brady flees the apartment. Miranda quickly tells her friends the news. Charlotte calls it her 'worst nightmare' before quickly apologizing for saying it. Meanwhile Miranda says she is going to be a grandma, prompting Carrie to ask, 'Are you?' 'If she doesn't want to be involved with Brady, that kind of means you, too,' Carrie tells her. Miranda decides to go talk to Brady's fling after finding out she works at a hair salon. She brings Charlotte with her as backup. While there, Miranda does not introduce herself. As Mia is washing Miranda's hair, she begins passing gas. 'I'm sorry. It's so mortifying. I'm still getting used to all this gas since I'm pregnant,' she explains. Miranda congratulates her, but Mia replies, 'Well, honestly, I was gonna get an abortion 'til I realized the baby would be a double Libra. It's gonna be such a f*****g vibe.' Miranda starts questioning her about the father. Steve is furious by the news. 'You were just getting your life together, and now you have f****d it up so bad!' he yells Miranda quickly tells her friends the news. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) calls it her 'worst nightmare' before quickly apologizing for saying it 'You have to be a Taurus,' Mia concludes. Miranda apologizes, sharing, she was simply seeking 'some kind of a connection so our family can get to know this little boy or girl' 'He's cool, I guess. It's not like we're gonna raise the kid together. F**k buddy status, you know?' she tells her. Miranda then decides to question Mia about the child's paternity, asking if she truly knows who the father is. Mia gets upset when Miranda tells her she is the 'f**k buddy's mother', and sprays her in the face with water, calling what she did 'gross and inappropriate.' 'You have to be a Taurus,' Mia concludes. Miranda apologizes, sharing, she was simply seeking 'some kind of a connection so our family can get to know this little boy or girl.' Mia is not pleased with this response, as she sarcastically replies, 'Little boy or girl? You're so binary.' She then walked away while passing more gas. Ella — who graduated from the Juilliard School with a BFA in acting in June 2024 — has followed in her famous parents' footsteps as an actress. In February it was announced that she has joined the cast of Before This New Year, a play by Liana Sonenclar. The two later walk back home together. At the door, he asks her whether she would like to come downstairs with him to his apartment. However, she slowly shakes her head no The next scene shows them in bed, after having sex, where Duncan makes it clear they cannot be anything more than a fling He also tells her, 'I may have missed a deadline, but you've given me a new lifeline.' Carrie laughs at the cringe line, as they go on to talk about their writing leaving Carrie feeling inspired She has already acted in the 2018 limited series Escape at Dannemora (directed by her dad), Adam Sandler's 2020 hit Hubie Halloween, an uncredited appearance in 2014's Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb and as a voice actor in 2010's Megamind. Her grandpa is the late Jerry Stiller. Together with his wife Anne they were a comedy team in the 1960s called Stiller and Meara. Meanwhile elsewhere in the episode Carrie struggles trying to figure out if she wants to explore a romantic spark with Duncan. She feels guilty after she was previously defensive when Miranda suggested there was something more going on between the two of them, as she was still dating Aidan at the time. Carrie debates whether she should attend a party Duncan invited her to, but in the end decides to make an appearance. The two later walk back home together. At the door, he asks her whether she would like to come downstairs with him to his apartment. However, she slowly shakes her head no. They start walking away, but Carrie ends up running down the stairs to give him a passionate kiss. The next scene shows them in bed, after having sex, where Duncan makes it clear they cannot be anything more than a fling. He tells Carrie, 'You understand that I won't be returning?' And Just Like That... airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO Max 'Yes, I got the subtext,' she replies. 'As I think I mentioned when we first met, you are a distraction. And, as we now know, when it comes to anything but writing, I'm a mess.' He also tells her, 'I may have missed a deadline, but you've given me a new lifeline.' Carrie laughs at the cringe line, as they go on to talk about their writing. In the end of the episode, Carrie appears inspired as she reads from her book in voiceover, 'The woman sat in her garden. Even though summer had come and now gone, she could feel the warmth of its lingering touch on her face and body. How wonderful. How wonderful. How wonderful.' Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury returned as the group's new besties Lisa and Seema this season. The show picks up 11 years after the events of the 2010 film Sex and the City 2, and follows three of the four original main characters. Following the success of Kim Cattrall 's cameo in the second season, it's been widely reported that her character Samantha will return for at least part of the third season. Sara Ramirez will not be returning as controversial non-binary comedian Che Diaz. Since starting in December 2021, the Sex And The City spin-off has seen Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte grapple with sexuality, gender identity, death, grief, divorce, drug use, and pretty much every other hot issue in Western society. The original Sex and the City ran for six seasons, airing on HBO from 1998 until 2004. The story continued with two feature films: Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). And Just Like That... premiered its first season in 2021. The third season will feature 12 episodes, with the finale airing on August 14.

Kim Kardashian's dramatic two-word response to Anthony Hopkins after he mocked her new SKIMS product
Video of Anthony Hopkins mocking the new SKIMS head wrap as his iconic Hannibal Lector character has sparked a dramatic reaction from Kim Kardashian The reality star, who co-founded the shapewear company in 2019, re-posted the video to her Instagram Stories on Thursday with an all-caps response. 'I'M SCREAMING!!!!! @anthonyhopkins @skims,' Kim, 44, wrote of the actor, 87, wearing her brand's 'Ultimate Face' product in character as the chilling cannibal. Whether or not she was shrieking out of fear or shock remains to be known. The video also came to the attention of several other Kardashian family members, who seemed just as shocked as Kim. 'I am screaming!' Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian, 41, posted to her Instagram Stories with multiple exclamation points. 'Let's gooooooooooo @skims @kimkardashian,' she added. Kris Jenner, 69, reacted with two laughing crying emojis and 'omg @anthonyhopkins @kimkardashian @skims'. Kim's new 'Ultimate Face' product from her shapewear line left fans in hysterics as they likened the garment to the Silence of the Lambs' villain Lecter's bite restraint mask sported by Hopkins in the 1991 film. On Thursday, Anthony resurrected the Silence of the Lambs character to mock Kim's bizarre SKIMS headwrap in a silly video. The actor, who picked up an Oscar for his portrayal of the witty cannibal, donned a nude post-surgical mask and quipped: 'Hello Kim, I'm already feeling 10 years younger. Goodbye.' Recreating the film's legendary 'fava beans and Chianti' scene, he chillingly slurped at the end of the clip - which was captioned: 'Thank you, Kim. Don't be afraid to come over for dinner.' Fans erupted online with one writing: 'Are you having Kim for dinner??? 'The hannibal reboot didn't think we needed. 'Anthony Hopkins dissing Kim wasn't on my bingo list 'Anthony Hopkins on Instagram is the best gift of my entire life on social media. 'This is probably the most important cultural event to happen this decade.' 'Tag me when she responds to this!' Like Kim, Khloe was 'screaming' in response to Anthony's mockery Others declared it was 'the best publicity' Kim could hope for. Social media users had been incredulous over the face wrap when SKIMS announced the product this week, leaping into the comments with reactions like: 'Is it April Fools?' and: 'What in the Hannibal is this.' 'State of the world in shambles, people dying …,' wrote one commenter. 'Kim: New Hannibal Lector Nylon face wrap just dropped!!!' 'Can't tell if trolling,' 'Peak f***ery,' 'Can we agree to disagree,' and: 'What am I looking at here?' were among the other flabbergasted replies. Fans were left in hysterics over Hopkins' video 'There's a 16 year old girl out there thinking she needs to buy this crap :),' wrote one as another said: 'SKIMS : Making women feel bad about themselves since 2018.' 'How has it come to this?' wrote a third commenter while a fourth sniggered that the 'most insane morning sheds are about to begin.' 'Kim please people are dying!!!' joked one, in reference to a viral remark Kim's sister Kourtney Kardashian made to her while she panicked over a lost earring. Although some observers were aghast at the product, many others were seized with excitement, to the point it sold out on the SKIMS website the day of its release. One waggish Instagram commenter wrote, however: 'If this works so well, why didn't Kris Jenner use this instead of spending thousands of dollars on a face lift?' Kris confirmed through a representative earlier this year that her newly smoothed-out complexion was the work of Dr. Steven M. Levine, known as the 'facelift maestro.' Internet rumor-mongers claim his patients have included Lindsay Lohan, Demi Moore and Brad Pitt, none of whom has publicly commented on the speculation. Kim's new product launch comes after she was roundly mocked for her awkward runway walk, with fans sniggering that she looked 'drunk' or 'like a tired toddler.' Kris proudly posted a video of Kim on the catwalk for Balenciaga at Paris Fashion Week - the brand's final show under designer Demna Gvasalia. But although her supermodel sister Kendall Jenner is an expert at working the runway, Kim's performance left viewers falling over themselves with laughter. One fan leapt into the comments and tagged Kendall, asking: 'can you help your sister' as another giggled: 'Go kim give us nothing.' 'This is how I walk after having 2 margaritas and I'm trying to be inconspicuous when I'm actually intoxicated,' cracked one Instagram user of Kim. 'Walking discreetly to the bathroom after eating Taco Bell,' quipped another, as another compared her to 'Me sleepwalking from the potty back to my bed at 4am.'

Yellowstone star Neal McDonough changes his tune after claiming he 'lost everything' after Hollywood firing
Yellowstone star Neal McDonough is stepping back after claiming this week that his career in Hollywood was ruined by his unwillingness to kiss women other than his wife on screen. The 59-year-old actor had claimed on Wednesday on the Nothing Left Unsaid podcast that he 'lost everything' after getting fired from ABC's Scoundrels, which allegedly made him persona non grata in the film and television industry. But with his wife Ruvé Robertson by his side, McDonough claimed that being ejected from that series due to his moral code actually helped him to have a better, more meaningful career. While speaking to TMZ on Thursday, Robertson emphasized that her message now is 'Thank you, Hollywood,' and she said the industry never 'turned it's back' on her husband. Robertson — a South African–born model, actress and producer whom McDonough tied the knot with in 2003 — noted her husband's multiple collaborations with Steven Spielberg, which included major roles in his film Minority Report and the HBO miniseries Band Of Brothers, which Spielberg co-created with Tom Hanks. The legendary filmmaker was also a producer on Flags Of Our Fathers, which McDonough appeared in for another acclaimed director, Clint Eastwood. McDonough claimed getting fired from ABC's Scoundrels over his moral code helped him have a better career, and Robertson (L) emphasized that her message now is 'Thank you, Hollywood' because the industry never 'turned it's back' on her husband; seen May 12 'The right people found Neal and put him in the right places,' Robertson continued, adding that McDonough wanted to 'continue doing incredible films.' She added that her husband's temporary career troubles 'guided' him to the solid footing that he is on now. 'We cannot explain how blessed we are and how happy we are,' she said, before noting that they had been happily together for 25 years and shared five children. 'We are so fortunate,' McDonough chimed in. The couple even mused that they might not be together today if he had been kissing other actresses on set, as they attributed his moral code to helping to strengthen their marriage. Their affection was unmissable, and Robertson interrupted her statement to give her husband a cute smooch on the lips, while he broke into song later in the interview. Robertson concluded by saying they hoped that her husband's enduring popularity could inspire other actors earlier in their careers, as well as people dealing with other personal struggles. She also pointed out how Hollywood had played an instrumental role in helping McDonough get sober years earlier, and his success had allowed them to create their own production company. In another clip, Robertson defended the couple's strict moral code, and she claimed that their children get concerned just hearing their father swearing in movies and shows, much less get intimate with other women. Robertson joked that they would fib in the past and tell their children that McDonough's voice had been dubbed over whenever they heard him curse on screen. McDonough previously suggested that his refusal to kiss women other than his wife was a death knell for his Hollywood career. The veteran performer chatted on Wednesday's edition of the podcast Nothing Left Unsaid, opening up about a years-long slide he said was due to his strict adherence to his marital vows. 'I'd always had in my contracts that I wouldn't kiss another woman on screen,' the Boston-born actor and strict Catholic told the podcast hosts Tim Green and Troy Green. McDonough played the role of Malcolm Beck on six episodes of Yellowstone in 2019. McDonough clarified that the contractual demand was at his behest, and not that of his spouse Ruvé McDonough, who he's been wed to since 2003 and shares five children with. 'My wife didn't have any problem with it — it was me, really, who had a problem with it,' said McDonough, who's been seen on TV shows such as Desperate Housewives, Tulsa King and Meghan Markle 's one-time show Suits. McDonough said it was impossible for Hollywood producers to get that he was dead serious about his demand — and they quickly stopped using him as a result. 'When I wouldn't do it... they couldn't understand,' McDonough said of his refusal to kiss other women on camera. 'Hollywood just completely turned on me, and they wouldn't let me be part of the show anymore. 'For two years, I couldn't get a job and I lost everything you could possibly imagine.' McDonough's movie credits include Star Trek: First Contact, Red 2 and Guns & Moses. He also starred as Lynn 'Buck' Compton in HBO's war drama Band of Brothers (2001). He said that the loss of work resulted in a domino effect in which everything dear to him began slipping away. 'Not just houses [and] material things, but your swagger, your cool, who you are, your identity - everything,' McDonough said. 'My identity was an actor, and a really good one.' McDonough said that the problems lingered for an extended period. 'Once you don't have that identity, you're kind of lost in a tailspin,' McDonough said. 'And I was in a big, ugly tailspin for a couple of years.' McDonough's most recent role came in the May feature film The Last Rodeo, which he was a writer on and played the lead role of Joe Wainwright. His spouse Ruvé portrayed the role of his wife Rose Wainwright in the movie, and the two did kiss onscreen. Prior to acting in the role, Ruvé, a native of South Africa, had a background in fashion modeling and film production. The rodeo drama also starred Mykelti Williamson, Sarah Jones, Graham Harvey and Christopher McDonald.
