Kylie Minogue forced to postpone tour dates after 'viral infection'
Kylie Minogue has been forced to postpone a string of her tour dates after 'succumbing to an infection'.
The Padam Padam singer, 57, has been on the road as part of her Tension tour, and recently completed her run of UK dates – including concerts at the O2 in London, and dates in Glasgow, Newcastle and Sheffield.
However, taking to Instagram, she revealed that she came down with laryngitis while travelling, meaning her upcoming gigs in Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Estonia will be pushed back.
'Hi Lovers, as some of you may know, a week ago we finished the UK leg of The Tension Tour,' she began. 'I made it over the finish line (Yay) but unfortunately have succumbed to a viral infection (Hello laryngitis).
'I've tried my best to recover fast to start our next run of shows on Monday but I'm afraid it will take me some days to be well enough to get back on stage and perform my best for you.
'I'm so, SO sorry! I have no choice but to postpone the shows in Berlin, Lodz, Kaunas and Tallinn as scheduled.'
'Please keep hold of your tickets, we're doing our very best to reschedule the dates and will update you very soon on that,' she added.
'Thank you for understanding – you know I love you all. And I LOVE THIS SHOW! And I'll miss you next week. And, I can't wait to see you. Love Kylie xxx.' More Trending
Kylie was due to perform at the Uber Arena in Berlin on Monday night, before rounding out the week with stops in Lodz, Lithuania and Estonia.
It is not clear when these dates will be rescheduled to.

She will next be hitting the stage in Finland on June 23, and continuing her performances in Sweden, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland.
In August, the Spinning Around singer will be taking the Tension tour to Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Colombia – ending the run with three dates across Mexico.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 44, called the cops, who then visited her home in the countryside. Following the reported incident, it has been said that the TV personality has upped her security with round the clock dog patrols and loved ones keeping her company. According to an insider, the Celebrity Big Brother icon was left 'shaken and very scared for her safety' after receiving the letter. The source said the abusive letter was from a "man expressing his extreme dislike for her and using menacing language." They added: "It was really nasty and made reference to tracking her down, so she called the police straight away." The Mirror have reached out to Gemma's representatives for comment. The source went on to tell The Sun that Gemma has been grateful to the police for their help in the "ongoing investigation". In May, Gemma revealed on a podcast that she had to deal with stalkers over the years, which "played havoc on her mind". Gemma said: 'No one would believe the bloody crap I've had to deal with. I've had a woman stalker who wrote me a letter in white gloves and wanted to kill me. "You know, people would wish me dead. I'd get all sorts at the shop. Weird. People are weird. And that's why in a way I came away from my shop in the end.' Meanwhile, Gemma has been struggling with her health in recent weeks. Earlier this week, a bedridden Gemma took to Instagram to share an update about her health, revealing that she had been seriously unwell for a number of weeks. In her post, which included a photo of the reality TV star laying in bed, she wrote: "Hey guys sorry been quiet i have Pneumonia. I'm not as fast or on it as I usually am on the daily. I am still honouring my work commitments which is taking every bit of energy I have but will be back entertaining you all soon." In a further update on her Instagram Story, Gemma revealed she was receiving treatment via a drip and had been seen by a doctor. Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs typically caused by an infection, and while most people recover within two to four weeks, infants, the elderly, and those with heart or lung conditions are at a higher risk of severe illness and may require hospitalisation. Luckily, Gemma has not had to go to hospital, but speaking to The Mirror, she admitted that she felt as though she was "dying".

Jesy Nelson's delight as twins daughters go home for the first time on her birthday
Jesy's twin girls were finally allowed to come home from the hospital on her birthday. Jesy Nelson has announced that her newborn twins have finally come home for the first time on her birthday. The 34-year-old former Little Mix star welcomed daughters Ocean Jade Nelson-Foster and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster on 18 May with her boyfriend, Zion Foster. The babies arrived prematurely, two months early at 31 weeks and five days, following a high-risk pregnancy complicated by twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. The singer was in hospital for several months on bed rest after undergoing emergency surgery to save her unborn babies while they were still in the womb. Now Jesy has made the lovely announcement that she and her girls are back home almost one full month on after their birth, and it was extra special as the date also happened to be her birthday. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the proud mum posted a sweet snap of her doting over her daughters in her home. She wrote in an the caption alongside it: "My babies made it home for my birthday." Fans were delighted to see the girls home at last with one commenting: "They are both so beautiful! Happy birthday Jesy." While another added: "So happy you guys are all home together." And a further fan wrote: "I knew they would make it home to be with you, precious miracle girls they did it for you. Last month, Jesy delighted fans when she reveled her children had arrived "healthy and fighting strong" after arriving prematurely. She also recently shared her experience with the girls in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). She wrote in an online post: "Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for NICU. "It's the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions not being able to feel like you can protect your babies. "Naturally as a mother you just want to hold them and comfort them when they cry but you can't because there are what feels like a million wires coming out of them. Tubes and masks in the way with people poking and prodding them, it breaks your heart into a million pieces. "But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to come away, moments like this feel like a dream." The Black Magic singer expressed her joy over the fact her children were brought back together following treatment. She explained: "Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe. The strongest little girls I've ever known who really do have the most inspiring story to tell." Jesy and 25-year-old musician Zion first started dating in January 2022 and have had an on-off romance over the years. Zion has been at Jesy's side throughout her pregnancy and her lengthy stay in hospital. Jesy is set to bare all about her challenging pregnancy in a candid Prime Video documentary, created by the same team behind Molly-Mae Hague's popular docu-series. The streaming service has announced a six-part series, Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix, which follows the former Little Mix star as she navigates motherhood. The synopsis adds: "With her life in the public eye for over a decade as one-fourth of the global pop phenomenon Little Mix, Jesy has experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
