In Pictures: Lewis Capaldi returns to main stage at Glastonbury as he releases new single
Earlier today, Lewis Capaldi released new single 'Survive' - a bold new anthem that underscores a challenging period in his career that led to a tough unifying moment as the Pyramid Stage crowd helped carry an emotional Capaldi over the finish line. 'Most nights I fear that I'm not enough, I've had my share of Monday mornings when I can't get up' sings Capaldi in a brutally honest track that addresses mental health challenges of self-doubt and despair, but comes out swinging in a chorus full of defiance - 'I swear to God I'll survive, if it kills me to, I'm gonna' get up and try, if it's the last thing I'll do'.
'Survive' also sees Lewis re-united with close collaborator Romans, who co-wrote his global hit 'Someone You Loved', that extraordinarily turned 10x Platinum earlier this year. The new track arrives off the back of a run of Scottish warm up shows in May that saw Lewis return to the stage as a guest of mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week.
With no pressure, and no level of expectation, the shows allowed Capaldi the space to gauge his comfort and emotional response before returning to the spotlight - a move which ended up proving nothing short of a triumph.
Lewis' last release, the hit-stacked record Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, scored him his second UK number 1 album, creating another three heartbreaking UK number 1 singles, 'Pointless', 'Wish You The Best' and the Platinum-certified 'Forget Me', working with hitmakers including Max Martin (Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Malay (Lorde, Frank Ocean), and longtime collaborator Phil Plested (James Bay, Bastille).
April 2023 saw the global Netflix release of Lewis' compelling, raw and honest feature-length, Grammy-nominated music documentary 'Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now' , mostly filmed in Glasgow and West Lothian. Born in Dennistoun, Capaldi grew up in Whitburn from the age of four, he now lives in the West End of Glasgow and is renovating a farmhouse in East Kilbride.

Best for those who don't mind a 20-minute walk, there will be a £20 flat fee across all three dates – though there is no pre-booking available. Parking will be on a first come, first served basis. And if you were planning on spending more than one day in Edinburgh to enjoy the festivities, the Zoo will be offering an exclusive 25% walk-up discount for fans who show their Oasis ticket at the door from August 8 to 11. Ingliston Park & Ride Another option – which would work for those arriving from the north and west – is Ingliston Park & Ride, which has more than 1,000 parking spaces available on a first come, first served basis. The car park will be served by Lothian Bus Services X22 and X12 from the Royal Highland Centre. This location is also served by Edinburgh Trams. Ferrytoll Park & Ride If you are heading to see Oasis from the North, Ferrytoll Park & Ride in Inverkeithing has more than 1,000 spaces available. Lothian Buses run service 33 from Sheriffhall which stops on Gorgie Road, which is a ten-minute walk to the stadium. Due to its location, it is worth allowing plenty of travel time if considering parking at Sheriffhall. Wallyford Park & Ride Although it's another location with no direct links to Murrayfield Stadium, Wallyford Park & Ride is just off the A199 and has 300 spaces with free parking. There are regular connection services from this spot into the city although the journey is likely to take more than an hour. Drop-off and pick-up spots for Oasis' Edinburgh shows There are no official drop-off points for fans heading to Murrayfield to see Oasis, and with extensive road closures in place around the stadium it may prove difficult finding a spot close to the action. With that being said, unofficial drop-off and pick-up locations include The Gyle and Bankhead, though fans should be warned that traffic is expected to be heavy. Oasis parking restrictions With no parking available at Murrayfield, fans looking to drive to see Oasis in Edinburgh will have to travel further afield – particularly as there will be parking restrictions in place around the venue. Netflix reality dating show 'better than US' returns featuring Scots nanny

Love Is Blind UK will be back on screens tomorrow, Wednesday August 13, as a new batch of singles hope to find love. Appearing on the show, which is hosted by Matt and Emma Willis, is Scottish nanny and makeup artist Katisha Atkinson from Dumfries. Katisha, 31, is one of the 30 people who will be entering the pods looking for a soulmate sight unseen. Katisha, 31, is 'looking for a husband, not a boyfriend'. The eldest of seven children, she and her family moved 14 times when she was growing up and she's found the Dumfries dating scene difficult. After being single for six years, Katisha is starting to feel unlucky in love. Now, she's ready to branch out of her small hometown to connect with the 'right type of men' who are seeking long-term commitment and love. Fans on Reddit have been thrilled at the news of the show's return, with season one regarded as being much more popular than its US predecessor. "Series one was amazing!
