Lizzo shows off her Met Gala look in 'Still Bad (Animal Style)' video
The video, recorded directly following the Met Gala in New York City on Monday, shows Lizzo singing and dancing at a late-night eatery, an arcade, the city streets and other locations.
The video shows off Lizzo's Met Gala dress, designed by Siriano and "inspired by the white tuxedo as seen on some of the iconic band leaders of the cotton club during the Harlem renaissance," Lizzo wrote on social media.
The video, which culminates with a party at famed New York bar Pieces, features cameos from drag performer Shequida Hall and the cast of Drag Wars.
Lizzo's fifth full-length studio album, Love in Real Life, is expected to be released during the summer. The title track was released as a single Feb. 28, followed by "Still Bad" in March.

Fathom Entertainment releases the film in theaters Sept. 30 to Oct. 2. Named after her song from the Broadway show Hamilton, Satisfied follows Renée Elise Goldsberry from her auditions for the show through winning the Tony Award for it. As Hamilton mania built, Goldsberry opened up about struggles during performances. "Sometimes now when I'm doing the show, I keep having panic attacks throughout the number," Goldsberry confesses on camera. "This is starting to feel like a runaway train overwhelming everything else in my life completely." Goldsberry speaks in the film about her dual dreams to have a family and be an actor/singer. She wonders sometimes if those dreams are mutually exclusive. Cameras inside her home show her children missing her while she is rehearsing and performing, and her husband, Alexis Johnson, stating they are creating a home where everyone thrives. The documentary also shows Goldsberry trying to get pregnant. Her son, Benjamin, was born in 2009 and the trailer shows her embarking on her sixth pregnancy. She and Johnson adopted Brielle in 2014. Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda also participates in the documentary, praising Goldsberry's fast rapping skills and confirming the demands the show places on performers. Satisfied premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Chris Bolan and Melissa Haizlip directed.

Watch: Canadian politician puts on 330 neck ties to break world record
Aug. 21 (UPI) -- A Canadian politician preparing to retire celebrated her time in office by donning 360 neck ties at the same time, breaking a Guinness World Record in the process. Marwah Rizqy, a member of the National Assembly of Quebec who announced this year that she will not seek re-election in 2026, celebrated her tenure in office by attempting a Guinness World Record on the Canadian TV series Infoman. Rizqy had to beat the record of 330 set by Brazilian David Aparecido Dos Santos Araujo in 2023. "I accepted the challenge of breaking the record for the most neck ties worn at once to show that women are equal to men, and that women can also wear many ties," Rizqy told Guinness World Records. It took 48 minutes for Rizqy to reach the previous record, with her face just barely showing through. She captured the title by putting on 30 more ties.

Mariah Carey to perform, receive Video Vanguard Award at MTV VMAs

MTV announced in a press release Thursday that Carey, 56, will perform a medley of her biggest hits and receive the Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs in September. The Video Vanguard Award recognizes the artist's contributions and influence on music videos and popular culture. Previous recipients include Katy Perry, Shakira, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott. LL Cool J, the 1997 Video Vanguard Award recipient, will host this year's VMAs Sept. 7 at UBS Arena in New York. The show will air at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS and also stream on Paramount+. Carey made her debut as a performer at the VMAs with "Emotions" in 1991, and is nominated for Best R&B for her song "Type Dangerous" this year.
