During an interview with Filmygyaan, Edin was seen making a personal revelation, sparking both curiosity and admiration among the fans. Talking about her personal life, Edin revealed that she wanted to freeze her eggs. 'I want babies, but I don't know about the man part yet," the Bigg Boss star stated during the interview. The 26-year-old actress also informed us that she had plans to go through the procedure in the upcoming two days. 'If it were to happen organically and I get married, well and good…but there's a high chance I won't find a partner who I want him to be because of the generation we live in," she added.
In an era where women's fertility and the idea of single mothers are starting to get the much-needed place in society that they deserve, Edin's candid conversation on her fertility creates a safe place for women out there while adding an authentic voice to the dialogue. The actress further revealed how difficult it was for her to bring this up with her mother. Like any other traditional Indian woman, Edin's mother also advised her to follow the conventional path of getting married and having kids, to which she replied, 'I told my mom, 'Look, your husband was good; mine might not be, so let me just freeze my eggs because I want beautiful babies like me. I am very fond of kids, but I don't know about the man part."
After entering Bigg Boss 18 as a wildcard contestant, the 26-year-old actress recently completed shooting for her upcoming film titled Love Insurance Kompany under Nayanthara's production house. This Tamil sci-fi romantic comedy stars Pradeep Ranganathan, Krithi Shetty, and S J Suryah in lead roles. Edin will be seen playing the role of an artificial intelligence in the film.

NDTV Jai Jawan 2025: Aamir Khan Reveals His Pick For Bhuvan In Lagaan Remake
Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who will join the Indian soldiers at the border in Jammu and Kashmir's Akhnoor as part of NDTV's Jai Jawan on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day, was quizzed about remaking his 2001 Oscar-nominated film Lagaan on the special programme. One of the soldiers asked the actor who could play his role of Bhuvan if the sports period drama, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, were to be remade today. Initially, Aamir Khan quipped, "Why will I let anyone else do it? I'll do it". After a bit of mulling over, the actor-filmmaker said, "I know the answer to this question. This is my choice that I'm sharing with you". And Aamir Khan's choice to lead a Lagaan remake was Vicky Kaushal. "I would have chosen Vicky Kaushal to play the role of Bhuvan... The character of Bhuvan, he has two-three qualities. He is very clean at heart and you feel the same when you look at Vicky. Dil ka sahi banda hai. Secondly, he (Bhuvan) has a lot of inner strength, he is like a mountain, pahaad ki chattaan. There's also a certain dignity, seriousness to him, he is also chulbula -- Vicky has all these qualities," the actor said on Jai Jawan. In Lagaan, Aamir Khan played the role of Bhuvan, a resolute villager of Champaner who encourages fellow villagers to come together and form a cricket team in a David-Versus-Goliath match with the officers of the British Indian Army as a wager to avoid paying the taxes they owe. Bhuvan captains the villagers team and eventually leads them to victory over the British, thus saving the village from " teen guna lagaan". New Delhi, Aug 13 (PTI) Tech-enabled travel platform Escape Plan on Wednesday announced a partnership with HRX, a homegrown fitness brand founded by Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan and Exceed Entertainment, to launch a co-branded line of premium travel gear. The collaboration marks a significant step for both brands in building utility-driven, design-forward products that cater to the new-age Indian traveller, the company said in a statement. With a rapidly growing Direct to Customer (D2C) presence and a Rs 100 crore annualised run rate achieved within just three months of launch, with over 20 per cent coming from Offline Stores, Escape Plan is reimagining how India travels: combining performance, design, and tech-driven functionality across its expanding product portfolio, it said. The curated range will be available through Escape Plan's own and partner platforms and offline stores, reflecting its ethos of building products that today's consumers love, it added.
