Brad Pitt Opens Up To Kelce Brothers About Life As A Chiefs Fan

Brad Pitt Opens Up To Kelce Brothers About Life As A Chiefs Fan originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Brad Pitt is making the rounds.
Yes, he's promoting a movie. But he's also a sports fan, and so a hang with the Kelce brothers makes perfect sense.
"F1,'' the big-budget race car drama starring the Hollywood megastar Pitt, is already a massive hit after earning $55.6 million in its domestic opening weekend and an 'A' grade from CinemaScore.
It's so big that Pitt, who plays a retired Formula 1 driver who makes a dramatic return to the track, now qualifies to be a guest on "New Heights.''
We're kidding, of course; Pitt is to film what Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is to music. And so, it is a gigantic get for the Kelce brothers' podcast.
Brothers Jason and Travis Kelce first released the news in a video posted on Instagram in which Jason announced, 'Brad (expletive) Pitt is on the episode, ladies and gentlemen.''
This level of "big-shot-edness'' is becoming less and less surprising as the brothers — Jason a Philadelphia Eagles retired legend and Travis still going strong for the Super Bowl-contending Kansas City Chiefs — are growing in beyond-football celebrity status.
Jason is now an ESPN guy who gets attention in so many of the right ways, most recently for his work with the Eagles Autism Foundation, which last weekend saw him strip down to his patriotic underwear for charity.
And Travis is dovetailing with Taylor into the entertainment world, of course.
Beside the podcast, there is his fifth annual Tight End University, which is suddenly a party scene, and his budding acting career, which includes a cameo in the upcoming "Happy Gilmore 2'' movie.
And now there is a kinship with Pitt, who talks with the fellas about what it is like to be a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
But to moviegoers? Brad Pitt hanging out with the fellas is next level, and you could tell by Travis' reaction to Jason's announcement.
So ... the visit has occurred.
And that Chiefs fandom was part of the conversation.
Pitt, who was born in Oklahoma but grew up in Springfield, Missouri, has been on quite a ride with his team over the past decade or so, as have all fans of your Chiefs.
And he really put it all into an eloquent package for the fellas.
"You feel this sense of pride instead of, 'Life's always out against us,'" Pitt said. "So, it's kind of extraordinary the way we live through our teams, you guys and what it means to us."

Trinity Rodman cheers on Ben Shelton's one-minute Wimbledon triumph after darkness delay

Trinity Rodman was amused by boyfriend Ben Shelton's victory over Rinky Hijikata on Friday after their second-round match at Wimbledon was suspended Thursday due to darkness. It took all of 69 seconds for the American sensation to close out the match and defeat the Australian, 6-2, 7-5, 6-4, on Friday to set up a third-round clash with Italy's Márton Fucsovics on Saturday. 'Nothing like a 2 minute long match,' Rodman wrote, adding a crying laughing emoji. 'Congrats Benny @benshelton.' Shelton had a heated conversation with the umpire, and the tournament supervisor intervened to calm him down, as seen in videos on social media. '[The umpire] said it was five-minute warning until the hawk-eye was going down and that was including the changeover, so there wouldn't be enough time to complete the game — and I was telling him I only need 60 seconds,' Shelton said, which drew laughter from the reporters. Nara Smith Shares Throwback Photo of Curls Before 'Severe Eczema' Caused Her to Lose Her Hair

Nara Smith has been transparent about her struggles with her eczema over the years On June 3, she posted a photo of her curly hair before losing a lot of it to eczema Nara documented her symptoms during flare-ups on Instagram in DecemberNara Smith is sharing more about her struggle with "severe eczema." The 23-year-old influencer continues to document her ongoing struggle with eczema over the years. On July 3, Nara shared a throwback photo with her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, and herself with curly hair on her Instagram stories. She added the text, saying 'My hair before getting severe eczema on my scalp which caused me to [lose] a lot of hair…' This isn't the first time the mother of three has opened up about her struggle with eczema. On December 10, 2024, through an Instagram post, Nara detailed her journey with eczema and eventually Lupus after she made known that bad flare-ups were in part the reason why she notably started making food from scratch. The carousel that she posted in December featured a picture of her dry and itchy scalp. "It's been about 3 years since my eczema started flaring up severely," Nara began her lengthy caption alongside a carousel of images showing her flare-ups. "I had just given birth to my second child. It started off as a small cracked patch of dry skin that I just moisturized and ignored." "My eczema spread rapidly starting on the palms of my hands and making its way onto my back, arms, scalp and eventually my face. I felt exhausted and my body ached so bad that on some days I couldn't move or hold my babies," she continued. Nara is the mother of three kids: Rumble Honey, Slim Easy and Whimsy Lou. She shares them with Lucky, 27, whom she wed in February 2020. Nara announced on June 8 that she and Lucky are expecting their fourth child. "As time went on my hair fell out in clumps and I could never shake this lingering cold feeling I felt in my body," she continued in the post from December. "I spend nights researching eczema since I thought that's all I had. I drastically changed my diet (cutting out grains, dairy, sugar) making food from scratch and swapped out all my products for more natural options." Nara has since become synonymous with her cooking videos on TikTok, often recreating conventional dishes from scratch while explaining the process in ASMR style. "I would go through phases of it healing (never fully clearing up) and then flaring up. I saw multiple [dermatologists] and always got the same answer: severe eczema. I got sent home defeated, not listened to and with a paper bag full of steroid creams," she continued. Nara said that she was "struggling and [overanalyzing] everything" she put in her body for two years, causing her "biggest flareup" which then led "to a severe infection." She detailed, "Every part of my body was covered in inflamed, oozing, itchy and swollen skin." "I woke up with my eyes swollen shut and my hands not functioning. I stopped eating completely, l paralyzed by the fear of making it worse," she revealed, noting that she fell into "a state of depression" which inspired her to seek help internationally. "I got on a flight to Germany seeking help from naturopaths, doctors and other specialists and finally got a diagnosis: Lupus," the model recalled. She compared the answer to a puzzle where "all the pieces fell into place" and all of her "symptoms made sense." "From my purple hands that felt frozen, to my extreme fatigue, my hair loss and sores. It all made sense now,' she explained, adding she 'felt relieved' because she 'finally had an answer but I was equally scared of what this meant for my life and my kids." Nara admitted it's been "a learning curve" and she's still "learning" to adjust each day. "I'm sharing this in the hopes of giving someone hope, comfort or the strength to keep pushing when things get really hard and lonely," she concluded her post. Read the original article on People

David Beckham gushes over Victoria, his 'Lady Beckham,' after 26 years of marriage

After nearly three decades of marriage, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham are still gushing over each other as if it were Day 1. July 4 marks 26 years of marriage for the 50-year-old former footballer and the 51-year-old fashion designer, according to multiple social media posts from the couple. "26 years today you said YES to me," David captioned an Instagram post on Friday. "Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life that we have together." He shared a series of photos of the couple, and their four children − Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo James Beckham, Cruz Beckham and Harper Seven Beckham − throughout the years. The beloved couple, who wed on July 4, 1999, are marking their latest marriage milestone just one week after David was hospitalized after undergoing surgery for a soccer-related wrist injury dating back to 2003. "I love you Lady Beckham," he concluded his caption, tagging not only his wife, Victoria, but his children too. "I love you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️," Victoria commented under the photo carousel. On her own Instagram account, Victoria penned a sweet tribute to her husband. "Another year, another chapter in our love story," she wrote, along with a photo of the two kissing poolside. "I'm so proud of the beautiful family and life we've built together," she continued. "You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much @davidbeckham xx Here's to 26 years!! xx." In a September 2024 interview with USA TODAY, David spoke about what makes him and Victoria the "proudest": his four children. Beckham grew up in the East End of London in what he describes as a "working class background: parents that work very hard, two sisters that also work very hard." He and Victoria, despite the circumstances surrounding their fame, tried to pass that forward to their children. "They could be different than they are, but we are very lucky," Beckham said of his kids Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper. "They're kind, they're humble, they're hardworking and they're just good human beings. That's the biggest thing that we are proud of."
