The multi-room space hits you with sensory overload: velvet curtains, textured wallpaper, and an over-the-top upside palm centerpiece dripping with crystals. The dining area doubles as a wine library you can actually walk through, while tables topped with tall candelabras set the scene.
The menu delivers steak house hits with theatrical flourishes. The fire-roasted seafood tower is a must-order—a collection of hearth-roasted crab, oysters, lobster, prawns, scallops, and clams swimming in garlic bu699 NE 1st Avetter and chili oil. Just when you think you've finished, servers appear with pasta to soak up the remaining sauce, cleverly turning one dish into two. If you've got cash to burn, the Japanese Wagyu offers melt-in-your-mouth decadence, while the tomahawk serves as a more "reasonable" splurge.
The cocktails match the kitchen's boldness. Try the IDGAF Old Fashioned with actual gold flakes. Wine fans will appreciate the massive 2,500-bottle list. For dessert, the key lime pie hits the table that's almost as wide as the table itself, because subtlety isn't on the menu here.

EastEnders star suddenly died at just 38 leaving family devastated
Ashvin Luximon, who played Asif Malik in EastEnders, sadly died three years ago at the age of just 38 - the actor has played Asif Malik in the BBC One soap in the early noughties The actor who played Asif Mailk in EastEnders tragically passed away at the age of 38. But a web page set up for charity in his memory is still receiving donations, more than three years later. Ashvin Luximon played Asif, a school friend of Martin Fowler's, on the BBC One soap from September 1999 to October 2003. Asif and Martin (James Alexandrou) were known for getting into trouble around the Square, almost always leaving Martin alone to explain his wrongdoings to his mum, Pauline (Wendy Richard). He went on to have a relationship with Nicky di Marco (Carly Hillman), as well as having a crush on Janine (Charlie Brooks), before passing his A-Levels and leaving Walford for university. Ashvin also starred on children's TV show Grange Hill and appeared in a promotional video for British Airways, but sadly died of an aneurysm on 23 July, 2022. Health website describes an aneurysm as: "a bulge or ballooning in the wall of a blood vessel. An aneurysm can break open. This is called a rupture. A ruptured aneurysm causes bleeding inside the body. It often leads to death." In more recent news, a man, 30, put shoulder pain down to gym aches, then doctors asked where he'd like to die. The talented actor's family paid tribute to him at the time and set up the memorial site where fans could donate to the NSPCC or Andy's Man Club in his honour. "This site is a tribute to Ash, who passed on the 23rd July 2022 due to an aneurysm," they wrote. "Ash's unexpected passing has hit us all hard, but we want to take the time to remember his larger than life spirit." Ashvin's family added: "He loved and was loved by so many. He sang a mean karaoke tune and had a voice loud enough to hear from space! He brought laughter and the best cuddles. Please use this space to share thoughts, photos and memories. Please be respectful. "As a family we would like to ask anyone who would have made a floral tribute to instead donate to our chosen charities, the NSPCC (Ash was the ultimate Uncle) and Andy's Man Club ( a charity aimed at helping men talk)." The tribute page has raised £1,573.12, with the latest donation of £25 coming on the sad anniversary of his untimely death, just weeks ago. "Ash sweetheart life is unbearable without you and we miss you desperately," wrote the contributor. "Your big warm hugs and your loud voice are still with use. We love you forever darling." His funeral service took place at Enfield Crematorium on the morning of 11 August, with the family encouraging attendees not to wear black. Instead, they requested that people wear colourful attire to celebrate the late actor's life "just as he would want us to". Following the service, mourners gathered at The Cavalier pub in Barnet, where they continued to celebrate his 38 years. The Enfield-born performer studied at Bowden's Theatre School during his teenage years before moving on to Chase Community School to complete his GCSEs. He subsequently pursued an acting career. In 2004, audiences discovered that his EastEnders character had settled in Edinburgh and was preparing for marriage.

BBC The Traitors star signs up to First Dates after suffering 'difficult' romantic past
The Traitors series two star Ash Bibi is returning to TV one year on from her stint on the BBC competition - but this time, she's looking for love as she heads on First Dates The Traitors star Ash Bibi is swapping castle roundtables for restaurant rendezvous as she heads on Channel 4 's First Dates after almost four years away from the dating world. The 47-year-old, who rose to fame on The Traitors last year, goes on her first-ever blind date on the Channel 4 show tonight after struggling to meet the right person in the past. "I think I went on a date in 2022 - it's been at least three years. It's been nice getting back in the saddle because it's hard," she told The Mirror in an exclusive interview. "It's really difficult meeting people. Well, it's actually easy meeting people for me because I can talk to anybody - but in terms of what we want and what we need, it's harder to meet somebody in that sense." It comes after The Traitors' Leanne Quigley revealed she would marry her fiancée today but is waiting for sad reason. Ash, who hasn't married before, revealed that her dating dry period came about after becoming uninterested in online dating and struggling with the perimenopause. "I was online dating before online dating was a thing," she said. "I did that for a really long time - I started in the mid-2000s and it has just really changed a lot. The longer you're single, you get into your head. You're like, 'Can I be bothered to put up with this? I need a different quality here'. "Also, I'm at that stage where I'm going through perimenopause and this is just something I came to a realisation with recently. Your body is changing as a woman when you're my age and I'm like, 'Does this play a part subconsciously in how I feel comfortable out dating?' It's a combination of so many different things." Ash added that her ethos throughout her dating life has been not to waste time in relationships with people who "are not right" for her. "I've had relationships over the years, I've been in love. As women, we feel this societal and media pressure to be like when you're in your late 20s and early 30s, 'you need to get married, you need to have kids,'" she said. "I was going through that and I do wonder to myself, 'Did I let a couple get away?' But I got older, I just thought, 'I actually don't want that. Why am I pursuing something that I don't actually want?'" Instead, Ash turned to First Dates' maître d'hôtel Fred Sirieix to find her perfect match. "My approach to First Dates was, 'I just want to have an open mind.' I wanted to be open to whoever was presented to me," she said. While fans will need to tune in tonight to find out what happens, Ash admits that it was nowhere near as stressful as her time on The Traitors. "There's nothing like that roundtable. I wouldn't say First Dates is scary," she said. "I was really, really nervous because I've never been on a blind date ever in my life but they make you feel so welcome and it's such a beautiful atmosphere. The staff are amazing." Ash took part in series two of The Traitors, being chosen as one of the original Traitors - however, she left the competition in episode five after being banished by her fellow co-stars. With Celebrity Traitors set to air later this year, Ash has some advice for the stars taking part. "I think this advice would be for anybody at any time - whether they're going on Traitors or going on a first date. You have to just try and relax and be yourself. That's it. Whatever the universe has in store for you, the universe has in store." She added: "Don't ask me to pick a favourite because there's so many people on that line-up that I am absolutely obsessed with, but I do want Alan Carr to do well. Fingers crossed, Alan!"

Rebecca was newly single. What happened next was a secret she kept for 16 years... until now
Rebecca was newly single after her relationship ended - but what happened next left her so ashamed, she kept it a secret for 16 years. The woman, from New Zealand, said she fell head over heels for another man shortly after her split from her boyfriend of two years. 'After we broke up, I fell in love with someone very quickly, but I have kept the details of who that person was a secret for the last 16 years,' Rebecca - whose voice was altered to hide her identity - told The Edge Breakfast during a segment called the Truth Booth. The only person who knew about her secret 30-year age gap romance was her now-partner. 'When I started dating (new partner), I kind of just put everything on the table, all my mistakes... Not really a mistake, but I guess at the time... it's kind of something I have been ashamed of,' she said. Radio hosts Ash London, Clinton Randell and Dan Webby were all on the edge of their seats as they begged her to unveil the man she's been keeping a secret for 16 years. 'So the person was my ex-boyfriend's father,' Rebecca said, as the radio trio gasped. 'When my ex and I were together, I never thought of his dad in that way, but I think after we broke up, his dad started hanging out with me. 'We'd be in groups and at parties... and we just sort of naturally started gravitating to each other and found that we got along and we had a lot of fun together.' Adding to the shock, the older man is a family friend so he's always around in her life because he knows her parents. 'He's still a family friend and he's one of my siblings' bosses,' she said. Rebecca said she ended up in a secret relationship with her ex-boyfriend's dad, who's 30 years older than her. 'We just had an agreement that it was just going to be what it was and no one really needed to know about it,' she explained. 'It was definitely more emotional than a sexual relationship.' Keeping the relationship under wraps from everyone - including his son, her ex-boyfriend - for 16 years was challenging, but Rebecca said it was 'worth it'. 'We had fun and we're still actually good friends now, so it's almost like it never happened... like it did happen, but we've just gone back to friends,' she explained. Ash chimed in, saying: 'It's like a beautiful dream and you're not hurting anyone. 'Nothing you did was illegal. Nothing was really immoral, consenting adults, it's absolutely fine. You had a great time, but man, it's a great story, Rebecca,' Ash said. Rebecca agreed, saying: 'Yes, it was fun, definitely fun.' The video has been viewed more than 30,000 times - with many filled with mixed emotions over her relationship bombshell. 'Oh nah! Not the ex's dad! Boyfriend to step son,' one said, laughing. 'Omg! I'm obsessed with this segment! Obsessed! So juicy,' another shared. 'The math ain't making sense... 30 years and you got no house out of it?' one joked. While another pointed out: 'NGL (not gonna lie), having these segments on before 9am is crazy! Kids in the car on the way to school and hearing this.' Meanwhile, some took particular issue with her ex-boyfriend's dad for crossing the line, with one slamming: 'What the old man did was beyond disgusting.' 'Worst father,' another criticised.
