(WTAJ) — While WrestleMania is the grandest show of the year for WWE, the Road to WrestleMania will start Feb. 1 at the annual Royal Rumble in Indianapolis.
One of the best things about the Royal Rumble is that you never know who might show up and enter. The Royal Rumble itself is a match where 30 wrestlers compete to get the main event spot at WrestleMania. With a men's match and a women's match, there are 60 spots and anyone could come out.
Previous celebrity surprises include Drew Carey, the current host of Price is Right, Johnny Knoxville and the uber-popular music sensation Bad Bunny.
Speaking of Bad Bunny, he's on the top list of possible celebrity surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble match. He sits near the top of the list with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat and Nikki Bella.
WWE ready to begin Netflix era with 'Monday Night Raw' moving to the streaming platform
According to Gambling.com, they top the list. The site also shows odds favoring John Cena to win the men's Royal Rumble while Charlotte Flair is tipped to win the women's Royal Rumble.

John Cena announces he's retiring from WWE
Charlotte Flair is a favorite to win the women's Royal Rumble match as she makes her months-long return after a serious injury. It's anticipated that if she wins, she will face newcomer and current WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, who has skyrocketed to the top of the proverbial food chain this past year.
While Cena is favored to win the men's Royal Rumble, it should be noted that while on his 'farewell' retirement tour, he's heavily advertised for the Elimination Chamber event. Historically, the winner of the chamber will get a title match against the other champion who isn't facing the Royal Rumble winner.
'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan was the first ever Royal Rumble winner in 1988, years before it became a yearly tradition and before they announced the winner would get a title shot in the main event of WrestleMania.
Notably, only four men have ever won the Royal Rumble two years in a row — Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin and current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Austin is the only man in WWE history to win the Royal Rumble three times (1998,1999, 2001).
If you've watched the Premium Live Event (PLE) before, you may be familiar with the rules. The match will start with two superstars. Every 90 seconds another superstar will enter (entry numbers are drawn randomly). If you get thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor, you're eliminated. The last superstar standing in the ring wins. It's important to note two big rules — superstars have to be thrown over the top rope, not thrown between the ropes, and both feet have to hit the floor. In past years, WWE's Kofi Kingston has gone viral for being tossed over the top rope but never letting his feet touch the floor and making his way back into the ring.

Netflix just added a new action thriller movie featuring some brutal brawls — and it'll get your pulse racing

Netflix is home to an impressive array of action thrillers already, but action fans might have spotted that the streaming service has just dropped a brand-new release designed to get your blood pumping. As of today (June 6), Netflix is now home to a new French action thriller from director Antoine Blossier. Introducing: "K.O.," a new Netflix original that takes us to the streets of Marseille alongside a hulking MMA fighter who's come out of retirement to earn a shot at redemption. Wondering whether the streamer's newest arrival is worth your time? Well, you can find a little bit more info about "K.O." (and my initial reaction after streaming the new release) below, which should help you decide whether to stream "K.O." on Netflix or not. Antoine Blossier's "K.O." sees former MMA fighter Bastien (Ciryl Gane) being tasked with searching for a missing boy. Bastien accidentally killed one of his opponents, Enzo, in the ring. He's been a recluse ever since, though three years on from that fateful match, Enzo's widow, Emma (Anne Azoulay), tracks Bastien down and implores him to help find her teen son, Léo (Maleaume Paquin), an informant who's gone missing after witnessing a murder. Bastien sets off to do just that. En route, he joins forces with police chief Kenza (Alice Belaïdi), a woman determined to find justice after Marseilles' most violent criminals murdered her own brother. In addition to Gane, Azoulay, Paquin and Belaïdi, "K.O." also stars Foued Nabba, Samuel Jouy, Virgile Bramly and Malone Ettori. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. "K.O." is a solid addition to Netflix's roster of action movies. Having checked it out myself, I don't think Netflix's new arrival is about to become anyone's all-time favorite watch, but it has enough fun up its sleeves that should satisfy action-starved viewers. Going in, I wasn't aware that Gane was a real-life MMA fighter, but that physicality is on display here. When the fists are flying, "K.O." packs in some decent thrills, and it has some surprisingly grim moments packed in courtesy of the villains. Action-wise, it might feel a little light; "John Wick," this ain't, and the story isn't anything to write home about (it's simple gangster fodder, and only exists to string the setpieces together), but the stuff we've all come to see is sufficiently exciting (especially the big clash that closes the final act). In other words, "K.O." should make for a disposable, tight 90-minute watch for anyone on the hunt for a quick dose of adrenaline this weekend (though if it's big-screen action you want, make sure you go see "Ballerina" soon, too). Need a second opinion before committing to add "K.O." to your Netflix watchlist? Well, seeing as the movie's only just hit our screens, "K.O." doesn't have a Rotten Tomatoes score to shout about at the time of writing (one may come later down the line). However, there are a couple of reactions to the movie online already. Ready Steady Cut's Jonathon Wilson says there's "only one point of a movie like this" (the action) and likens "K.O." to "Ad Vitam" and Exterritorial", describing them collectively as "barebones movies with serviceable set-pieces." Not quite sold on streaming "K.O." on Netflix? We can still help you find your next Netflix watch. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 predictions: Surprise cash in? John Cena no longer a heel?

WWE Money in the Bank 2025 predictions: Surprise cash in? John Cena no longer a heel? Show Caption Hide Caption John Cena warns media, he will ruin wrestling, he is the last real champion in WWE After making history at WrestleMania 41, John Cena warns the media that he will ruin wrestling and he is the last real champion in WWE What WWE fans know about Money in the Bank is that a men's and women's star will get a golden opportunity for a championship in the future. What fans don't know is who the lucky individual will be. The titular matches will headline the event taking place inside the Intuit Dome on Saturday. A chance to dramatically alter the WWE landscape awaits the winners. The field for the men's and women's matches offer intriguing storylines. Cases could be made for several to be the victor of each match. However, only two people will be able to climb the ladder and snag the briefcase. Outside of the Money in the Bank matches, the Women's Intercontinental Championship will be on the line, plus John Cena and Logan Paul team up to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. It's a small card with only four matches, but that leaves the door open for chaos. What will transpire at Money in the Bank? USA TODAY Sports' wrestling reporters offer their predictions: Women's Intercontinental Championship match: Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Becky Lynch prediction Jordan Mendoza: Valkyria and Lynch run it back after their stellar performance at Backlash. This feud has been enjoyable to watch play out and Lynch has brought out more skills for Valkyria as a result. But can the champion get to 3-0 against "The Man?" Everything points to Lynch finally getting the best of her fellow countrywomen, and she'll probably cheat to do it. However, Valkyria pulls off another stunning finish to retain and remain perfect against Lynch. Winner: Lyra Valkyria. Richard Morin: Lynch is back for more after Valkyria beat her clean in the previous matchup. That can only mean one thing: Shenanigans. We still haven't seen Bayley, who Lynch took out at WrestleMania 41. I could see Bayley interfering with the aim of foiling Lynch, but she inadvertently costs Valkyria instead, setting up a three-way feud for the title down the road. Winner: Becky Lynch. Women's Money in the Bank match prediction Jordan Mendoza: One thing we do know is this match is going to steal the show. All six women are extremely talented and this one is tough to predict. Naomi seems to be the popular option, so I'll go a different route. Three fresh faces from NXT will be in this match, and it will be quite the entrance to the main roster if one of them bests the veterans, similar to Tiffany Stratton last year. After spending much of the match as a non-factor, "The Prodigy" adds another achievement in her young career and leaves with the briefcase in hand. Winner: Roxanne Perez. Richard Morin: This is a great lineup and I could see several different possibilities. Ultimately, I think the decision here is Naomi, whose new heel persona is working well. The emotionally-driven feud between Naomi, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill needs a world title thrown in the mix, and giving Naomi the briefcase will do just that. Winner: Naomi. Men's Money in the Bank match prediction Jordan Mendoza: A few contenders stand out in the men's match, but some craziness is bound to happen in this one, especially with Seth Rollins in the fold. While giving him the briefcase again certainly makes his new faction even more dangerous, expect some outside interference to prevent him from winning. That leaves the ladder open to Solo Sikoa and LA Knight. Both are in need of big breaks, but Sikoa powers through. Winner: Solo Sikoa. Richard Morin: Forgive the fantasy booking here but a strange lineup like this is going to require a strange outcome. If we assume Americano is really Chad Gable (he is) then Gable will have less than an hour before the show starts from the end of his match against El Hijo del Vikingo in the main event of Worlds Collide. A pre-match announcement states Americano is unable to participate (I predict he'll lose to Vikingo). His replacement is announced as CM Punk, which gets a huge pop from the crowd. Roman Reigns returns to foil Rollins in the match, reigniting their feud. Reigns is then engaged by Sikoa, allowing Punk to claim the contract. Winner: CM Punk. John Cena and Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso prediction Jordan Mendoza: Is this a match anyone wanted? Not really, but don't discount the fireworks that could happen in this one. If this match closes the show, something dramatic needs to happen. When it looks like Cena and Paul are closing in on victory, Cena stops his partner from cheating. After spending months as a heel, Cena finally has a change of heart and goes back to the crowd-loving champion he has always been. He allows Paul to take the loss, and after shaking hands with Rhodes and Uso, The Rock emerges, setting the stage for his return to the ring. Winner: Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. Richard Morin: Many are confused by this match's presence on the card. If it closes the show, there's no reason for confusion. Having both champions in the ring at the same time is a perfect opportunity for a cash-in attempt (if this is not the main event, throw this prediction out the window). CM Punk, who I have as the surprise MITB winner, said Monday to Cena that he would "pick the bones...," and that's exactly what he'll do against a weakened Cena at the end of this match, which itself will end in a no contest. Punk takes the belt off Cena. Result: No contest.
