Scarlett Johansson Keeps It Classic in Schiaparelli's Skirt Suit for ‘Jurassic World Rebirth' Photo Call in London
Scarlett Johansson joined her fellow 'Jurassic World Rebirth' cast members on Monday for the film's photo call in London. The two-time Oscar-nominated actress stars alongside Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali in the film.
For the first stop on her 'Jurassic World Rebirth' promotional tour, Johansson opted for a look courtesy of Schiaparelli, complete with the Italian luxury fashion house's signature gold hardware buttons. The actress wore a black skirt suit with long sleeves and a mini hemline.

Running down the front placket of the look were gold buttons with intricate designs distinct to Schiaparelli's oeuvre, including the Italian luxury fashion house's signature keyhole gold button and further ornate bijoux designs.
Johansson's accessories were kept simple, favoring a few rings and dangling earrings that did not distract from her sartorial statement. Her glam featured her blond tresses styled with a side part and natural waves and makeup with bold brows and a pop of color with her red lip.
Johansson regularly collaborates with stylist Kate Young, who also works with Dakota Johnson and Julianne Moore, among others. Young, who styled Johansson during her time at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in May, was honored by WWD with the Best Stylist award at the 2025 WWD Style Awards in January. The stylist also spoke with WWD about how much the relationship between fashion and celebrity has evolved over the course of the last several years.
'People didn't even have a stylist. I think a lot of people bought a dress to go to the Globes, or maybe their costume designer did it,' Young told WWD. 'It wasn't the process that it is now, but a little more the way you would deal with somebody going to a party. They just wanted to look cool,' Young said of her clients.
Monday's photo call marks the first in a series of promotional events Johansson and her costars will take on over the course of the next few weeks ahead of the 'Jurassic World Rebirth' premiere. The film takes place in the years after the events of 'Jurassic World: Dominion' and follows an expedition crew on a mission to extract DNA from the dinosaurs still inhabiting the isolated islands where they were created. 'Jurassic World Rebirth' hits theaters July 2.

Protesters planning to disrupt Jeff Bezos' Italian wedding
Italian protesters are planning to disrupt billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos' wedding to Lauren Sanchez in Venice next week. No Space for Bezos activists last week launched a campaign using banners and signs to make their feelings known about the star-studded event coming to town. Next week, when Bezos and his guests are expected to visit Venice from June 24 to June 26, activists plan to block the city's narrow streets and canals to make things difficult for the Amazon founder and his jet-setting guests, according to the BBC. Celebrities including Katy Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Eva Longoria and Ivanka Trump have reportedly been invited to attend what's expected to be a 200-person gathering. Mayor Luigi Brugnaro has expressed disappointment about the way protesters are responding to Bezos' big day. 'I hope (Bezos) doesn't have second thoughts,' Brugnaro said. Association of St. Mark's shopkeepers Setrak Tokatzian reportedly told Italian media that well-financed events that provide work for local businesses should be embraced by Venetians. 'Otherwise all we have left is increasingly low-cost tourism,' he said. Events tied to the wedding ceremony are expected to be held on the island of San Giorgio near St. Mark's Square. No Space for Bezos organizers expect vows to be exchanged at the historic Church of the Abbey of Misericordia, though Bezos hasn't confirmed that suspicion. Guests are believed to be staying in Venice's most exclusive hotels and on yachts owned by Bezos. Forbes estimates Bezos' worth to be $230 billion. _____

Tom Cruise is finally getting an Oscar — as will Dolly Parton, Debbie Allen and Wynn Thomas
Thirty-five years after Tom Cruise received his first Oscar nomination, he's finally getting a trophy. It's not for his death-defying stunts, either. At least, not exclusively. Cruise, choreographer Debbie Allen and 'Do The Right Thing' production designer Wynn Thomas have all been selected to receive honorary Oscar statuettes at the annual Governors Awards, the film academy said Tuesday. Dolly Parton will also be recognized with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her decades-long charitable work in literacy and education. 'This year's Governors Awards will celebrate four legendary individuals whose extraordinary careers and commitment to our filmmaking community continue to leave a lasting impact,' Academy President Janet Yang said in a statement. Most recipients of the prize historically have not yet won a competitive Oscar themselves. Cruise, 62, has been nominated four times, twice for best actor in 'Born on the Fourth of July' and 'Jerry Maguire,' once for supporting actor in 'Magnolia' and once for best picture with 'Top Gun: Maverick.' He's also championed theatrical moviegoing and big-scale Hollywood production through the coronavirus pandemic. Yang spotlighted Cruise's 'incredible commitment to our filmmaking community, to the theatrical experience, and to the stunts community.' Allen, 75, has never been nominated for an Oscar. But the multi-hyphenate entertainer — she also acts and produces — has played an integral role in the Oscars show, having choreographed seven ceremonies over the years. Tom Cruise, Dolly Parton to receive honorary Oscars
By Lisa Richwine (Reuters) -Action movie star Tom Cruise and singer and actor Dolly Parton are among the luminaries selected to receive honorary Oscars this year for lifetime achievements, Hollywood's film academy said on Tuesday. Actor and choreographer Debbie Allen and production designer Wynn Thomas also were selected for recognition by the board of governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. The honorees will receive their Oscar statuettes at the annual Governors Awards gala in November. Cruise, currently starring in "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning," was selected for his decades of work in "Risky Business," two "Top Gun" movies and several other films. He was nominated for best actor twice, for "Born on the Fourth of July" and "Jerry Maguire," as well as best supporting actor for "Magnolia." "Tom Cruise's incredible commitment to our filmmaking community, to the theatrical experience, and to the stunts community has inspired us all," Academy President Janet Yang said in a statement. Parton, a country music singer and star of movies including "Steel Magnolias" and "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas," will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her charitable efforts. Parton's Imagination Library has provided more than 284 million free books to children over 30 years, according to the organization's website. She received two Oscar nominations for best song, for the films "9 to 5" and "Transamerica." Allen, an actor in movies such as "Fame" and "Ragtime," choreographed the Academy Awards ceremony seven times and several films. Production designer Thomas worked on several Spike Lee Films including "She's Gotta Have It" and "Do the Right Thing," as well as best picture winner "A Beautiful Mind."
