Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper welcomes third child and has hilarious response

Daily Recorda day ago
Jeremy Clarkson has shared the hilarious moment Kaleb Cooper told him he was leaving the fields to head to the maternity ward after his partner went into labour
Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper has celebrated the arrival of his third child, but true to form, he stayed put in the fields when the life-changing news broke. The farming expert, 26, has won over audiences with his no-nonsense attitude on the hit Amazon show.

Kaleb was busy with the harvest when he learned that his fiancée Taya had gone into labour. According to his boss Jeremy Clarkson, the 26-year-old showed no panic at all, and didn't rush off to the hospital.

Instead he calmly stated he would head there once he had finished working the graft in the field. Clarkson later joked that his young employee displayed the ultimate professionalism by putting farming first, even ahead of a dash to the hospital for his newborn's arrival.

The former Top Gear presenter revealed this exchange in his newspaper column as reported by Gloucestershire Live, praising Kaleb's commitment while also poking fun at the unusual timing.
He even suggested in jest that the baby should be named after the field where Kaleb was toiling at the time, which was called "Deadman". Of course, this cheeky proposal was swiftly rejected.
This marks the third addition to the family for Kaleb and his long-term partner Taya, who are childhood sweethearts. The couple are already parents to two youngsters, Oscar, who arrived in 2021, and Willa, who was born in 2023.
Kaleb, hailing from Chipping Norton and who began his agricultural journey during his teen years, has become one of the most beloved figures on Clarkson's Farm since the programme first launched back in 2021.
His straightforward guidance, humour and unwavering commitment to conventional farming methods have won over audiences. Yet, whilst Kaleb had cause for celebration in his personal life, the atmosphere at Diddly Squat Farm has been far from cheerful.

Clarkson admitted that the summer's dry spell had devastated their harvests, with the produce so pitiful it could "fit inside a vacuum bag".
This disappointing crop represents another obstacle in the already volatile realm of agriculture, a truth the programme has highlighted through its intimate look at countryside life.

Despite the difficult conditions, Kaleb has continued his dedication to the work, even as his brood grows. His story stands as further proof of the particular pressures encountered by farmers balancing labour, climate and family life.
For followers of Clarkson's Farm, it provides yet another insight into the existence of the down-to-earth young agriculturalist who has succeeded in turning graft, quick wit and a love of machinery into an unlikely television success.
Meanwhile, Jeremy revealed last month that his Cotswolds venture had been hit by a tuberculosis (TB) outbreak. The former Top Gear host posted on Twitter: "Bad news from Diddly Squat. We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated."

He revealed that one of the animals had contracted the potentially fatal bacterial infection and was expecting twins. Days afterwards, Jeremy explained how dealing with the outbreak had been "bloody awful".
He explained: "The disruption's enormous, because you aren't allowed to operate as a business. You have to isolate them for two months.
"So all the barns we needed to store the grain in, we now have to convert into a cow hospital. We've got another calf with pneumonia, so that needs to be housed. And we can't buy or sell a cow now because the farm officially, you know, has TB."

Roman army descends on Birdlip for festival

A recreated Roman army has marched on a quiet Cotswolds village - as part of a new festival celebrating the history of the area. Sunday morning saw the first ever Birdlip Roman Festival transform the village, with historical costumes and displays put on show by enthusiasts. Gloucestershire's Roman heritage was also on display, with archaeological activities put on by a number of organisations including the Museum of Gloucester and Coronium Museum. Festivalgoer Martin Smith told the BBC he was "super excited" about the event, adding: "I like [learning about] their day-to-day life and learning how they would have lived in this landscape during the period." Fellow attendee Kate Peake, who visited with her daughter and her mother Angela - who made her costume - said it was "brilliant" to have a Roman festival in the area. "We live just down the road, we love history and we thought we'd dress up to come and visit today," she added. Re-enactment group the Ermine Street Guard took a starring role in Sunday's festival, marching through the village in authentically recreated military wear. The area boasts a rich Roman history, with the ancient civilisation making Gloucester a key site for its empire, and many important archaeological finds have been uncovered throughout the years. Hundreds of people attended the festival, with a number of stalls selling local products, antiques and food also forming part of the event. As well as local museums putting on displays, Cotswold Archaeology and Chedworth Roman Villa were also on site with family-friendly activities.

Jeremy Clarkson reveals interaction with JD Vance's security during Cotswolds visit

Jeremy Clarkson claimed he told a member of US vice president JD Vance 's security team to 'f*** off' during Vance's visit to the Cotswolds. Clarkson stated that a 'kilometre-wide no fly zone' around Vance's accommodation in the hamlet of Dean was 'slightly annoying' for filming his show, Clarkson's Farm. Clarkson's farm hand, Kaleb Cooper, also reportedly told Vance's security to 'eff off' when asked to pull over his tractor during a wheat delivery. Vance, who was on a family holiday in a Grade II listed manor, was met by protesters holding a 'not welcome' party in the village. Clarkson recently admitted that funds from his Prime Video show, Clarkson's Farm, are helping to sustain his Diddly Squat farm after a 'disastrous' harvest.

Christine McGuinness was 'so nervous' on Celebs Go Dating as she speaks out

Celebs Go Dating star Christine McGuinness has opened up on her Celebs Go Dating experience for the first time since it aired as she confessed to being 'so nervous' Christine McGuinness has broken her silence since Celebs Go Dating aired. She admitted to being "really overwhelmed." The Real Housewives of Cheshire star signed up to the E4 dating show following her split from husband Paddy McGuinness. ‌ She thought she was ready to get back on the dating scene, with the help of the show's experts, as she tried to build a connection with a woman. However, before the series had even hit screens, it was revealed that Christine had quit. ‌ The mum-of-three said it was "too soon" following her divorce from Top Gear host Paddy. It comes after one TV star admitted she sleeps in separate bed to partner as she fumes over pregnancy. ‌ The TV series kicked off earlier this week, with Christine tasked with finding a match to take to Ibiza with her for the group trip. In the very first episode, she appeared visibly uncomfortable at times, and the experts even took note. Now, Christine has addressed her time on the show for the first time since it aired. She took to her Instagram following her summer getaway with ex Paddy and their children. "Where do I even start, thank you so much for all the love on Celebs Go Dating," Christine said. "It is mad watching it back. We filmed it in April, so it is a couple months ago and I'm watching it back seeing how everyone else got on. "You are with the other celebs but you are not on the dates with them. They tell you about it, but actually seeing it, I have loved. I have loved that bit." Speaking of watching herself on the show, Christine confessed: "God, I was so nervous. I was so nervous, I can't believe it. It is mad. I was so in it at the time and in my head. ‌ "It was just really overwhelming. But, the response from the four episodes I have been on has been really, really positive and gorgeous so thank you so much. I appreciate all the love and all the support." On the very first episode, viewers noticed how nervous Christine was as they picked up on clues she wouldn't last the whole series. While at a mixer with the other celebs and a group of singletons, the show's experts revealed they needed to find someone to take with them to Ibiza. However, it all seemed too much for Christine as she had reservations straight away. She was seen grabbing onto fellow star Kerry Katona as she admitted: "I need a minute, I need a minute." ‌ Christine was filmed walking away from the group as she took a moment to herself. She told Kerry: "I just don't want to take someone away." Speaking directly to the camera, Christine shared: "How can I take someone I've just met away? This is just not normal." Expert Anna Williamson admitted: "She is the most nervous out of all the celebrities." In another episode in the week, Christine admitted: "In all honesty, I'm finding being away from the kids and being here with everyone a little bit too intense. I'm just craving a bit of peace and quiet."
